Very authentic experience with a wide variety of foods, drinks, household goods, and health/beauty products. Definetly recomend to anyone interested in Japaneese / Oriental Quisine.

Great place for your quick stop for a last minute Asian dinner

Do Not purchase food from this place--if something is wrong, they do not stand behind their products. We bought frozen salmon eggs and they were OLD. An expiration date of 2018! When we called regarding the problem, the husband promised the wife would issue a credit to the credit card and advised us to throw away the bad fish and call back when she was in the store. When we spoke to her, she refused to issue a phone credit, insisting the fish was good and that we must return it. Speaking to the husband asking why he was reneging on his promise, he hung up on me. No doubt they want to resell this bad product to some unsuspecting customer unfamiliar with identifying quality fresh fish eggs.

Fantastic store! This is a hole-in-the wall treasure that Cincinnati is lucky to have. The mom and pop store has many authentic japanese foods that are impossible to find elsewhere in Cincinnati. They have mostly food, and a few household goods. TV shows on CD are also sold here. Prices are reasonable considering the import costs.

Since this is in the same city as jungle jims many people overlook this market, but the quality is much better. They take excellent care of their stock. Plus there is a friendly old Japanese man who works there.

Our family always enjoys shopping here.

It was a bad experience after had diarrhea and realized the dumpling we bought was out of expiration, almost a year. When we came to back store, the owner was angry about the return and mentioned that was a special price on the top. However, my point is about the expiration is almost out of a year. It should rid up right away but they still sold for the customer. At the beginning when I bought, I trusted this market and believed they sold the fresh product for us, it was a big mistake when I was having the diarrhea. The last thing I want to say it was really impolite is about the owner insulted us and said Got out of my property. I will never go to this market anymore, be careful when you buy any food in the market to make sure the expiration date is good.
