This place is a gem! My family has lived in OTR for years and we love shopping here! Mr. Issacs is always very tentative and will help you find whatever you need. They have extremely fair prices & carry tons of options. We rarely go to Kroger anymore because of this place!

I went in to grab snacks for my mother who was getting her hair done at a shop down the street. I was greeted more so for the owner to see who was in the store. Didnt ask if I needed help or anything. He doesnt wear a mask, and was making jokes about people still wearing mask with a customer who also wasnt wearing a mask. Complained that Covid restrictions are hurting his business, and said unemployment was to blame...I paid with money I get from unemployment. You never know who your customer is, and you should definitely respect public safety if you expect the public to support you. I wont be back. He didnt have much merchandise to pick from anyways.

Even if i havent been in this grocer shoping in any food store make sure you ethier know what you want before you even go in and ps... write a grocer list dont forget. What you need.

The customer experience here is fantastic. This convenient store has about any alcoholic drink you could ever want and the owner/employees are excellent. Thank you New York Groceries!

Love this place... the owner is kind and really worked with the community counsel and other local groups to see what the neighborhood wanted in terms of a convenience store that actually provides great stuff for your... convenience.Here you can find all of the things you may need in a clean and safe environment and it smells good too! From JUUL Vapes, cigarettes, healthier frozen foods and otherwise. Please support this place. I dont know the owners name, but he runs a great spot!

There isnt any fresh produce (go just 2 blocks north for that) but this place has all the other essentials like a super convenience store. Very friendly service, great beer and wine selection. A great variety of staples like chips, bread, milk, cheese, canned goods, TP, garbage bags, etc.

Prices extremely high and selection is limited, would not recommend.

Yes, we have no bananas indeed! I walked a half mile to this store on the basis of the reviews, hoping to grab a banana for my morning oatmeal, and was surprised to see that it not only lacked bananas but all other produce as well. What kind of grocery store doesnt sell produce? The manager was friendly, and the store looked clean, hence the 2-star rating (instead of 1-star).
