If your grandfather and little brother worked at the same store and your aunt was the cashier, this would be it. Friendly, small town hardware store with a little bit of everything...even a US Post Office inside. Prices are reasonable considering its quick grab and they have things long ago discontinued by the big box stores. In fact, if youve got an idea to build a thingamabob out of whatchamacallits, I guarantee youll find just the doohickies you need in one of their many, MANY parts bins/drawers. Some things are actually cheaper at McCabe. I like it that I can buy ONE bolt or assembly without having to buy a 10 lb. Contractor Quantity.No waiting in line. Friendly and helpful. Theyll special order anything you ask for. Propane refills. Theyll carry to your car. Light Bulbs to Lawnmowers and everything in between! Whats not to love?

Always a great experience when I come here. Its typically for USPS, but the few times Ive been through for a hardware need, the staff is always extremely friendly & helpful. Would recommend a hundred times over to anyone in the area looking to avoid the big box hardware guys.

It is a great local hardware store. Will most likely have what you need. The service at checkout could be a lot better. They developed the covid vaccine and vaccinated people quicker than they ring you out.

Was barely greeted if at all when walking in. No employees asked if we needed assistance.

Staff has always been friendly. Some of the prices are a little high, which I expect. Some of the prices are great deals though as well.

Cashier was impatient. Once she rang up my items (9 items), she said the bags are there if you want one. No bagging? Might as well go to Walmart if Im going to bag my own stuff. Not what I expect from my neighborhood hardware store.

I went to this store to buy a hose. I couldnt find an expanding hose long enough. There were only two choices available. Even Target has a better selection of expanding hoses then this hard wear store. Also none of the employees greeted me or asked if I needed any help.

They have no one there that has any knowledge of 80% of the stuff they sell took 1 1/2 hours to buy a stihl blower no one there could tell me the difference between them and no one knew how to ring it up with discount I received from stihl and took them forever to find everything for it this happens every time I go there

At what point during this pandemic will employees stop their cavalier attitude about masks? If you post signs in multiple locations stating that masks are required, I shouldn’t have to deal with employees at your back desk not wearing their masks when I walk over to ask a question. It’s completely irresponsible!

This place is terrible if you go online to see if the store has something and it says they do, they probably dont have it. The past 6 trips there have been based off the fact that it said what I needed was in that store, 5 of those times they didnt have it in store, but online states that they do.If you are younger, your ethnicity doesnt matter, The workers there follow you around like your going to steal something. They ask if you need help, and you say no because your just looking around. After just moving into a new place, I would go in because I needed probably everything a homeowner could need and would just go in and walk up and down isles grabbing what was needed but never having anything specific in mind, and in 20 minutes I had the same person ask me if I needed help 3 times, and are you sure you dont need any help 4 times, then was told that I had been in the store to long and was told to buy something or leave...That made up my mind that $600 I had in my pocket was going to be spent elsewhere and I will not ever step foot in that Establishment ever again.

Good stock. Knowledgeable staff at the desk in the back but you do have to ring the bell. Double check loose hardware stock you buy from the fastener bins to make sure its all the same exact item.

Best Weber grills and accessories and parts on hand.Reasonable pricing.I needed a part for my Weber kettle grill for the holiday weekend and McCabes had it at another local store, they transferred the part to the Delhi store and I conveniently picked it up.A neighborhood gem with great service.

Love this store. Some items seem just a bit more but the money you save on gas is well worth it. Friendly staff. Always helpful. Also has post office and pshipping supplies in the store. Convenient

Good amount of stock in a well laid out store. The cashier Matthew pointed me in the right direction when I came in to buy some fuses. Much better proposition than the trek to Home Depot for more common items. Highly recommend!

Nice area, friendly staff,they have alot of hardware for around the house projects such as knobs and handles for door& drawers, paints, plastic tubing, also outdoor decor & grills. They have a post office with WONDERFUL staff who are very knowledgeable & helpful for all your shipping needs. Plenty of parking, and clean store. Nice for fast visits and prices competative.

So glad to have this resource in our neighborhood. I needed a plastic bag to put a mattress in and lo and behold, they had them. All of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

I am SO glad to not make trips to the time-sucking big box stores (Home Depot or Lowe’s). Don’t think because it’s small that they don’t have what you need. They are well-stocked with all the basics but without all the bells and whistles. Need something? Call or check with them before tripping to HD. I’m in and out in minutes and the staff are always so helpful.

LOVE MCCABE ON DELHI PIKE. SO HELPFUL AND IF WHAT YOU PURCHASED DOESNT WORK YOU CAN ALWAYS RETURN WITH YOUR RECEIPT OF COURSE. THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY HELPFUL, HAPPY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

Terrible place. 5 people working and not one approached me for help. Asked for parts for pressure washer hoses and 1 person shows me router bits and air hoses for compressor and nail guns. Not one of the people even knew they sold pressure washers. Asked 3 where there were and not one knew. Everyone just assumed stand around and talk to each other than help or approach any of the customers throughout the store. Won’t go back.

I arrived wanting to Purchase a Weed Trimmer. They sell higher grade items so I know I am going to pay a little more. I ask what they have available and I am told That they have the one I asked for but it needs to be built first. I ask if they know how long it will take because I am willong to wait. I can hear the young man as he askes his manager if he can build one and the manager gives no time reference but flatty responds Not Today. The face of the young man that asked showed even more suprise than mine. It wasnt like I wanted a deck built. Put a trimmer together. The manager could have done it in minutes. But my business was. Ot worth it. I walked out and I will not go back.

Had a major plumbing issue and not one but two employees helped explain everything so I could do it myself. They didnt have everything I needed since it was a 60 year old plumbing fixtures but they offered to order it and also told me where I could find the rest of the parts. I have never been so impressed.

The guy name Carl that helped me with paint was very helpful. The paint he mixed matched exactly to the color sample I bought in.

The staff are knowledgeable and they sell the small parts and stuff you need.

The staff here are usually very pleasant and helpful. Only one time when a manager did not take me seriously when I exhibited an interest in a Stihl chainsaw. I was planning on buying one, but elected not to from him. Nice selection and knowledgeable staff.

Great home town feel compared to the big box stores of today. Still maintaining competitive pricing as well.

Thank goodness I do alot of home improvement myself, from the time time I walked in on 01/03/2018 past the front cash register all the way to the back of the store not one person said anything,not a good morning to a can I help you,I found what I went for went to pay and the girl at the front never said nothing I repeat nothing to me she acted like it was a bother that she had to do her job sorry little girl .

Always helpful finding what I need and even offering pointers on my projects. They also carry decent number of American made products.

They always have the cure for those little household repairs tools to paint, advise and a friendly staff.

General have what I need.

There is nothing more important than supporting local businesses. However, they need to embrace the community or it becomes blind loyalty. Their service is average at best and I cannot understand why everyone in the store looks mad or sad. It not only lacks the warmth you expect in a local hardware store, it’s just plain depressing to visit. But what really frustrates me is the lack of quality I expect. Because they are small, I know I will pay a little more. But there should be some value with that. Specifically great quality and sevice. But they lack both. Here is a great example. Today, I went in to buy stain for my deck. When they rang it up, the price was $10 too high. I explained that the price was wrong and it took forever just to get someone to check the price for the cashier. In the end, I had to walk over and show them myself. After they adjusted my bill, I asked them if they were going to update the system so this didn’t happen to anyone else. The man said “well not likely today.” Since they hadn’t even written down the details of the issue, I asked when this update may happen and he couldn’t even answer. No one is accountable and no one is taking ownership to improve their culture. I really want to support this place. But between their crummy attitudes and lack of concern for accurate prices, it’s obvious they do not care about me or the community.

Now useless. They no longer cut wood or glass in small orders (maybe large) like small old school hardware stores should. Nothing but over priced shelf items. I dont know how they stay in business.

Call them at 12 till 8 asking if they could stay open the young girl on the phone said no they couldnt Im here at 8:01 and they were just shutting off the lights and no one even looked at me when I was locked in the window. Never shopping here again

Employees are either rude, not helpful, or both. Asked if they had any traffic cones in the back (not enough for me on the shelf) no one bothered to look. My friend that works there said there was a bunch back there, but they were not working that day. Home Depot has more selection and friendlier service. Step it up guys.

They cost a little more than home Depot, but the convenience of being much closer and usually still having what i need...makes up for that. And the staff is always easy to find and helpful.
