This is the second time I have taken something to Pro Tool. Staff is friendly and honest. The first time they helped me with a user error issue at no charge. The second time they were able to replace a bad bearing on a wet polishing tool. Repair price was very reasonable ($60 for this job), a small fraction of what it would have cost to replace. They quoted 3 - 5 days and it was ready in 3. Ill definitely be back with any other tool service needs. They also had a selection of used tool cases hanging on the wall and I was able to pick one up for $5 to replace a broken tool case. Happy customer.
They were out of stock on what I really needed, but did offer options. Im going to wait for my stuff. These people are just great for repairs and replacement parts. Been using them for about 40 years.
Great people, very informative. I would highly recommend them. Had some old spare part they fix my old Bositch nailer
Theres no place like this within a hundred of miles. Makita master distributor who has probably everything they offer. Not to mention they can fix about any tool worth repairing..AAA+
Very good technicians! Friendly service! 🏗️
Highly recommend. Was my first visit. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely be a return customer.
Great place to get power tools fixed or buy accessories for your power tools. They fix a bunch of different brands and do warranty work for a bunch of brands.
MissVicki went out of her way to make sure that I was happy with the product I had purchased from them and she went above and beyond what I would get in a normal big-box store.
Quite possibly the worst service experience I’ve ever had. If Google allowed zero stars, that’s what I’d rate this business. I can’t recommend avoiding them strongly enough.I brought my Porter-Cable nailer to them with a simple request: call me with an estimate of the cost to fix it. No problem, they said. We’ll call you by the end of the week, Monday at the latest. No call. I called in the middle of the following week and they apologized for not calling and assured me that they’d call ‘later today, tomorrow at the latest’. No call.Three weeks in, I went to the shop thinking, screw it, I’ll just get my nailer back. Mike, the owner, looked up my ticket and told me, to my astonishment, that they’d sent my nailer to Porter-Cable in Chicago for repair three days after I dropped it off because it was part of a recall. He apologized again for not calling, for not providing an estimate first, and assured me that there would be no charge since it was a recall, and that he would personally call me later that day or the next day. You guessed it, no call. Two more calls and over 5 weeks since I dropped the nailer off and I get Mike on the other end who apologizes yet again. And then proceeds to inform me that they’ve received my nailer back from Porter-Cable and that it will cost me $76 to pick it up. I reminded him that 1) I never received the estimate they promised, 2) I never authorized the repairs at any cost, and 3) he personally told me the repair would not cost me anything, since it was a recall. His response was “They charged us, so we have to charge you.” When I pushed back, he offered to reduce the charge to $60, then $50.Given their failure to deliver on even the simplest promise, or call me once in over five weeks, I have zero confidence that the nailer is actually repaired, let alone worth paying $50 for. These guys left me in the lurch in the middle of a flooring job. If you depend on your tools like I do and expect people to stand by their word, go somewhere else.
They have so many Makita tools, its breathtaking. If you are looking for something, especially the more specialty tools, and want to get your hands in before you buy, this is the place.I found Pro Tools through a warranty repair on a Hitachi mitre saw and had then repair a Dewalt that was not working properly as well.Very friendly, great service on the tools, and super happy with the new tools I bought from them.Worth the drive.
