Philip Bortz Jewelers has earned a customer for life. I came in to upgrade my wifes engagement ring and was very please with Matt and how knowledgeable he was. I never felt pressured into buying or that Matt was trying to intentionally push me to higher ticketed items. They simply educated me on my options and the differences between the different diamonds, I cannot tell you how refreshing that was! On top of finding my wifes new engagement ring they gave me the best trade in offer I found in all of Cincy for an Omega watch of mine that I used towards the purchase value of the ring. Matt was absolutely amazing and professional in helping design a custom band for my wifes engagement ring, and in creating a wedding ring that fit perfectly. I have visited both the location that was downtown (that appears to be closed now) & Harpers Point, and while I liked able to covertly plan during lunch hours for the engagement band, being close to the Harpers Point location was very nice in the months leading up to our wedding.I was even able to find a unique wedding band from an estate sale that I absolutely loved and knew would be perfect for me in the process. I highly recommend them to everyone who has a need, and will consider them first for any needs for jewelry in the future. They are flexible, honest, and dont try to upsell you on anything unnecessary. I highly recommend them over any other jeweler in the Cincinnati area (or frankly online, getting sized in person is an absolute requirement for the ring to fit perfectly).
