Amazing service and selection! Jeanette and Susan were absolutely fabulous and made my fiancé and I feel very welcome. They listened to our ideas and the very first wedding band that they suggested was beyond perfect! Definitely recommend them and James Free for a wonderful experience.

I stopped in today just to get my watchs bracelet adjusted, and the staff couldnt have been more helpful and pleasant. They treated me like I was buying the Hope Diamond for millions.

My wife and I couldn’t have been happier from start to finish. MJ was a great liaison for our experience at James Free Jewelers. Also, the jewelry designer Amy made the entire process of designing a 30th anniversary band and ring repair fantastic. Her creativity in design and level of communication both in person and email/text was unbelievable. She definitely went above and beyond.

I ordered a ring from their website. They put a hold for the money on my account because turns out they don’t have the ring. Two months later when the ring came in, that hold expired so I now owe money on a ring I thought I paid for, not expecting to budget this in my check. Then they charged me twice for the same purchase. A never ending battle with this place.

James Free is a class act. The buying and after the sale experience is exemplary. Michael the owner, is a very good guy, a good businessman and has done a great thing bringing such a nice store to Montgomery and Cincinnati. The staff has always had competent sales people but specifically dealing with Jeanette the manager and Sophia my favorite sales person, has truly been a pleasure.

I have stopped by in this store twice and both times dressed very casual, however, weve got best service. We were not even looking to buy anything, rather came to get their expertise and service and they were very friendly and didnt even ask money for the service they provided. You get a very friendly atmosphere there. They also got a very nice selection of items. We will certainly be back to this store.

Best jeweler in Ohio best service very friendly staff that take great care of customers they gave my kids toys and offered us drinks and even one of the ladies took our kids into her office to watch a movie while we shopped. Wish I could give 10 stars they deserve

Went in to purchase a ring. After talking with someone at the Dayton store and having a ring sent to the Cincinnati location, I went to go see it. The woman helping me was extremely rude and tried to sell me a cheaper ring because she said it might fit in my price range better. Never gave her a price range at all during my visit. After a rude comment about the ring size I would need, I decided to take my money elsewhere. Safe to say I wont go back to that location.

I recently placed a special Christmas order online and shortly after I placed the order I was notified that the item would not be in in time for Christmas. I immediately panicked. Genna with costumer service was amazing in helping me with finding a replacement and making sure it would make it before Christmas!!!!!!!! I recommend James free to everyone

We purchased a watch at James Free Jewelers in Cincinnati, OH five years ago. After less than 5 years, the watch stopped working and we took it to James Free last year. We were informed that they needed $1150 to fix the watch. Later, they informed us that they would do the job for $1050 which was pricey compared to the money we initially paid for the watch. We were also not told that the watch needs maintenance every 2 years.We talked to the store manager to see if she would be able to help us work out a more reasonable price. After several phone calls, she informed us that she would be unable to help us and informed us that we could speak with the owner of the company. The owner was very rude and left an impolite message on my phone answering machine that I would not be permitted to go to the store in Montgomery any longer. He informed us that if we would like to fix the watch, we would have to pay the unreasonable price as he would be the only one able to repair the watch. He did not want to mention the names of other jewelers in Cincinnati that would also be able to take care of the repair when I asked him about this.We did some additional searching online and found other jewelers. We took the watch to Richter and Phillips in downtown Cincinnati. The service there was much better than James Free and they were able to repair the watch for half of the price of James Free. The quality of the repair was excellent.James Free was unprofessional and overly expensive. The owner owes me an apology. We will not return to James Free to do any business.

Justin at JF is amazing! I have bought multiple watches and other jewelry from JF and they are wonderful! Justin has gone above and beyond over and over. Went in to buy a ring for my fiance....not a big purchase really. But the salesman was very helpful and hung with us while he tried on several ones he thought hed like but didnt. When he did find a ring he liked, they took the order quickly and efficiently. The ring was ordered and came in sooner than they quoted. When I went in to pick the ring up the same person was there. He complimented my ring and cleaned it for me even though I didnt purchase it there. Overall I thought their service was great.

Bought a bracelet for my wifes birthday and got a great deal, great customer service and my wife loves the bracelet. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. They never made me feel rushed or tried to push me to spend more money. Will be back!

I have always found them to be very honest and caring during the years, The complete staff there is full of knowledge and very friendly to work with. They never once disappointed me during my buying experience And If your in the market for High-end watches or fine jewelry, you wont be disappointed either. I would give them a 10 star!

The staff at this location are a real class act. I didnt pay attention to the time and walked up to the store nearly 20 minutes before they opened. Not only did they let me in early, the door was held open for me to enter. He politely mentioned the store wasnt open yet but they would be happy to help me. I was just in for a quick inspection but they took great care of me while I was there. Please dont walk up 20 minutes early because they let me in but be confident in the fact that you will be well taken care of here.

Don’t believe what these people say. I brought my ring in for a cleaning and was told my ring was ‘poorly made,’ I would lose stones out of it, but they would remake it for me. Upon taking it to another jewler for a second opinion, I was told the ring is totally fine, well made. They are scammers trying to get money for nothing. Would not recommend, would not trust, and will not return.

Imperfect service, and unbeatable prices. My husband and I purchased a piece from here in 2007 it broke and needed repair this year. they ensured me that they would make a new one of better quality and OH BOY did they. I couldnt believe what the outcome was. It was more beautiful than I imagined it would be and couldnt ask for better service. I couldnt say enough good things about this place. We dont even live there but they remained in contact me the whole time my piece was in thier hands. I have boasted about them and will continue to do so. I will never go anywhere else. After shopping at multiple jewelers, we purchased a beautiful diamond ring from Joseph Free Jewlers, Montgomery store. Our sales person, Maha was wonderful as was Michael the manager. They both took the time to explain the different types of diamonds, the cuts, color & clarity. Not only to explain it, but also showed us the difference. Everything was done to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Maha followed up with us when we first called before we came out to the store. If she said she would do something, she did it. She also followed up with us after the purchase to make sure we were happy! They have earned our business, we are newer to the area & we will be back. Their inventory of diamond ring settings were 5 times the amount of the other jewelry stores that we looked at. The service plan we received at no charge when we purchased our ring is phenomenal. The other jewelers nickel and dime you for all the things that are included at no charge with our ring purchase here. These folks know how to treat customers and we really appreciate them.

I recently visited this store looking for diamond earrings. I was dressed very casuallywhich leads me to believe this may have been the reason I was practically ignored by the staff. There were about 5 sales people standing around. After about five minutes I was approached by a sales person who I felt was dismissive and said to let someone know if I needed help. Ive been in several other jewelry stores in Cincinnati and most will volunteer to clean jewelry, offer you a drink or will offer to be of any assistance. I did find my new 2 carat diamond studs but not here!!

This place is the worst. I have a lot of expensive jewelry that have I bought over the years. This place has awful service and does not stand by their work. There are so many great jewelers in the area, dont waste your time with this one. Honestly, they are so shady and unethical!!

Most places told me my watch was non-repairable. I walked in to James free and had a salesmen (I think his name was Joe), tell me that they could have it looked at and it should be repairable. A few days later it was fixed and out the door. Great service and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience! As soon as we walked through the door, my fiancé and I were offered coffee, wine, cookies, anything. The staff cleaned my engagement ring immediately even though it was purchased elsewhere. Anita and Sergio both were very attentive and friendly. They asked for my preferences and showed me exactly what I asked for, offering professional advice about ring width relative to my engagement ring (the ring they recommended was actually less expensive than the first one that I liked, and I ended up loving their selection even more). I did not feel any pressure from either of them, despite all of their attention. Sergio seemed to sincerely enjoy showing rings. It was a great experience, and I will definitely be back to look for a wedding band for my fiancé. Definitely recommend!

Yes this place is swanky, its in Montgomery, so really you know what youre getting into.They say they have great prices.. but theyre really comparable with most other places. They will take care of you here though. Im always offered a drink or cookies when I walk in. And not just water, or coffee, or pop-although those are available- but wine or beer, or the last trip, spiced cider. Yum! And my rings always get cleaned while Im walking around.Yeah if you show up in jeans, you get a once over, and you get hovered around a bit, but its not bad. They just want to be there to jump in on questions or recomendaions. They wont show you the cheaper counter though, its tucked in the corner by the front door, and has some really nice pearls in it! Some of the jewlry in this place just looks gawdy, but hey people like what they like.They also do custom orders here. I was looking for a wedding band to match my non traditionaly shaped engagement ring, and they said they could do it, however, they were definitely the most expensive for simple white gold. Although of all the places that we went on the dreaded wedding band hunt, they took the time to examine my ring, and take notes, and really ask my input. She even checked out the diamonds under their little microscope. No where else really checked on that.So yes they are pricey, its nice jewelry. Youre going to get good quality, decent service, and something really really shiny :)

I had a disappointing visit to James Free. I was looking for a certain David Yurman bracelet. They kept telling me the bracelet I wanted was not the price I KNEW it was. They were going to charge me $75.00 more, and even the David Yurman sight had the price I knew was correct! They acted very unknowledgeable about my jewelry request. I had been to Nordstroms beforehand and knew what I was talking about from the research done there. I came home, called Nordstroms, and they are holding the bracelet I want, for the price that is CORRECT, and I am getting it later this week.James Free, learn what the heck you are talking about! When the customer knows more than your do, you are in trouble

I would give less stars if possible. My wife gave me a breitling watch for a gift. After a short period of time owning this watch the watch face started spinning. I took it to James Free where I asked if it was under warranty, I was told no. I suggested that it seems to me like a manufacturing defect. They called after sending it off to breitling to let me know that it would cost over 700 dollars to fix it. I asked for proof that it is not a manufacturing defect they promised to send it to me. 6 weeks goes by and I go pick up my watch and was handed a bill for over 700 dollars. No proof, no parts and to top it off they polished the watch so there is no way to prove the problem. While there looking at other watches 2 of the other workers were searching the web for real estate on a lap top blocking an entire case of watches. This place is rude, no customer service, does not back up any purchases. James Free Jewelers is off my list of places to purchase any jewelery and Breitling is off the list of watches. They both lack a superior product and they both lack service after the sale.
