My husband bought me a pair of earrings from them for an anniversary gift. We had my wedding band custom made to match my engagement ring which was bought in another state. They did an incredible job. My husband also slyly conspired with them to get my wedding rings so he could surprise me with a matching anniversary band. It was the best surprise at Christmas that year. After, I lost my husband a few years ago I went in with his wedding band to get some ideas on a necklace. After talking with them and some ideas we came up with a plan. They custom designed and made it into a beautiful necklace I wear everyday. They are a great family to work with and the only jewelers I will ever use.

I have been a customer of Heileman for 21 years. My first pair of diamond earrings was purchased here 21 years ago. They are still as beautiful as ever! In 2009, when my now husband was ready to get engaged, there was nowhere else I wanted to go for my ring. We picked out a setting and had a family diamond set as the center stone. My husband and I also picked out our wedding bands here. There is not a day that goes by where I dont look down at my rings and think about how much I love them. I am not exaggerating when I say that I get compliments on my rings at least once a week. I go in for regular cleanings and its insane how much my diamonds sparkle! I recently had to get my wedding band/engagement ring resized. This was an extremely easy process! This past August, I got an anniversary band from my husband. Heileman did an EXCELLENT job making it the exact replica of my wedding band (because they no longer carry the original style). Every encounter I have had with the staff (which is all of them over the years) has been very pleasant. They are all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend Heileman to anyone who is looking for high quality, beautiful jewelry.

One of Cincinnatis best kept secrets. Who needs to travel to NYC for the best bespoke jewelry and highest level of design and service, when we have Heileman & Co. in our backyard. I brought a ring to be resized (I did not purchase the ring from Heileman). The staff quoted a price for me when I dropped it off. Several days later when I arrived to pick up the ring, I was charged a higher price. The staff explained that they needed to use a different process/machine to do the resizing because of the type of ring, and that is why the price was higher. I asked that they honor the original price and they refused.

Bernadette was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband wanted to have my wedding ring reset for our anniversary. Bernadette seemed to understand exactly what I expressed I was looking for. The finished product exceeded our expectations. They even repaired and dipped another ring, changing it to a white gold color for us. We will use them for all of our fine jewelry needs in the future. I visited several local jewelers when needing to have my engagement ring reset. I knew within minutes of walking into Heileman & Company that I wanted to work with Rachel. She immediately made me feel comfortable and took the time to educate me about my options. There was a great sense of trust when I could see her family members who also work there, diligently working on pieces in the back of the showroom. It was reassuring that my diamonds werent going to be sent outside of their store to be redesigned - everything is done right there. So my experience here was calm to the point and professional. My wedding band got damaged (run over by a snow plow) and was amazingly found on a street a few days later. This was the only shop in town that didnt say that it couldnt be repaired or that they were going to ship it to a no name factory in the middle of no where to repair it. They were quick, the estimate was identical to the price paid and they made it look like new. Never once did I feel like they were judging me for how my ring got damaged. They did a great job at a fair price.Last piece here was that I have very large hands and no one carries sizers that big including Heileman & Company. However when they saw that they didnt have something to size my hand they asked me to wait a minute or two and they made a sizer (it took about 2 minutes). You cant get that kind of service anywhere. I would highly recommend them.

I had the exact same experience as Brooke on this thread. I bought my wifes diamond ring and eternity band here, and I agree that their customer service is terrible. The eternity band has had two stones fall out now and each time I was told the cost to replace is on me. Obviously, there is a craftsmanship issue, but rather than stepping up and fixing, we were treated very rudely by the Woman owner while she told us there was nothing they could do. This nickel and diming cost them any future business from me.

Truly the best...I purchased my engagement ring here, among other items. This is probably the only place in area that actually designs or completes repairs on jewelry for you in-house.Everywhere else they take your items in and then send them out to a facility. We were able to create a custom piece, in a relatively quick turn-around time that will last a lifetime...I was impressed. Ive also recommended them to many of my friends and acquaintances...who are now longtime customers.Couldnt ask for a more welcoming sales experience with David and his family!

Bought my fiances wedding ring here after a lot of shopping at other stores and online. Was getting real tired of the same sales pitch everywhere I went. Mike made it really easy to just get what I wanted at a reasonable price. When I took her back there for bands she said as we walked out, Im glad you went there.

Took my ring here to get fixed and the employees were incredibly rude. Fix my ring but the same problem happened two months later. When I brought the ring back they told me to just take it somewhere else. Terrible customer service.
