A great place to get your scouting needs. If you are getting uniform patches they will sew them on for a small fee. So bring the uniform(s) with you.

There is always someone staffed there that is knowledgeable about scouting to answer questions about what the kids (boys and girls) need. Its clean and they have everything we needed in stock. No long waits and no guessing with online ordering!

Not much to say, theyre the only scout store near Cincinnati. But they were nice, helpful, and made the experience very easy.

Watch for hidden charges on shirts that have patched already seen on. We werent made aware of this until I questioned the charges at the register.

This is the model facility for the Boy Scouts. The employees are very kind and helpful. The shop has everything you not for all scouts.

Ill go in there sometimes and get amazing service, but then there are occasions were I cant get good help. Normally its good service though.

They always have what we need and are always super helpful. They do have a changing room for trying on pants which is excellent for growing boys.

I stopped by to check it out because Ive only ever gone to my council shop. Let me tell you it is very nice! Tons of information for new and current scouts, the shop offers a large selection of gear for campouts, plus the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend to check it out!

I was looking for shirts and hats for my grandsons who are starting their scouting journey. Im not sure that things are as they were when I was in scouts many moons ago or like they were when my sons were in scouts but I hope they are. I know this facility is outstanding as were the folks who helped me find what I was looking for. The help was extremely knowledgable and friendly. I hope to be back at that facility many times over the next 15 to 20 years.The entire facility looks great.

Cincinnati (Dan Beard Councils) Scout Shop is an excellent resource and stocks everything Ive needed as a scout parent and as a pack member. When the monthly pack meeting rolls around, the checkout line slows at the registers as the staff check each and every pin, belt loop, badge, & ribbon before they send you out the door. Who would want to skip one or two scouts when passing out recognition? I appreciate that thoroughness and dedication to the volunteer packs, troops, crews, etc. Ive always been given helpful advice - Ive even sometimes taken it!They are great, all seem dedicated scouters and I am glad they serve us so well.

Always fun going in to look for things. Someone seemed disappointed that its called the Dan Beard Scout Shop. Apparently they do not know the history of scouts well enough. Yes it was W. D. Boyce who founded Boy Scouts in America, however Dan Beard was the founder of The Sons of Daniel Boone in 1905, which later he merged with the BSA. He was also from Cincinnati. We are the Dan Beard Council for that reason. Hence the name of the shop.

Everything you need related to cub scouts and boy scouts. Everyone who works here is active in scouting and can answer your questions about shirts, neckerchiefs, books, pinewood derby cars, and patches.The prices are reasonable though for non-scout items you can get better prices elsewhere.

The service we receive is always great. The folks working here always seem knowledgeable of their products. The shop has all the basics you need at reasonable prices. Please dont go there and slam their prices if you have no knowledge of the quality of gear youre looking at. This gear is mid to high end (like GSI cookware, Nalgene bottles, Platypus & MSR filters, Osprey packs, & ENO hammocks). They always seem to have a couple good deals as well. Clearance backpacker meals for $3 or $4. Thorlos brand hiking socks 2 for $15, etc. Id give it a 5 if it were larger and could accommodate more stuff.
