Excellent selection. Ordered the cheesemongers favorite with prosciutto and smoked salmon. The selection of cheeses was amazing. Everything paired perfectly. And with the sparkling wine we had. Well worth the price. The back patio is a well kept secret. Enough room for about a dozen people or so, but completely private and zero sound coming from Findley market or nearby Central parkway.

A lovely story of serendipity. Was standing in line at Mochiko on Madison to get my pastries. I was there early. Weekends they open at 9 and I forgot and I was there at 8am. While in line I met this young man Chris, with a dimple and very social. I asked him a lot of questions about him and where he works and how was Covid lockdown etc?He said he had time to reflect and focused on what he really wants in life and that he stopped working at a restaurant. Very low pay and to much work. I asked him where he was working now and he said Rhined a cheese and wine place near Findlay Market. I has been there way back and I asked him about how it was to work and the cheese there and he said it was Amazing and a lovely place to work there. It’s owned by two young women owners.Fast forward, we had guests and I decided to visit them to get some cheese and beer and I was not disappointed. Here are the photos 🙏🏽❤️

Absolutely fabulous choices between each chartreutery tray that we chose with the seafood and cheese.The back alley courtyard is very relaxed with a bit of a rustic earthy vibe without being either over the top or suspicious, creating an ambiance of seclusion in the urban space.Definitely worth a date night anytime that you can think of it.

Went out with my friends for my birthday and decided to try something new. I’ve never been to a cheese restaurant nor am I a cheese Connoisseur, so I had a lot of questions when ordering. The waitress had no personality and seemed bothered by the fact that I didn’t know much and had questions about what I was ordering. I wouldn’t recommend unless you know exactly what you want and you don’t want service other than them bring you the food and wine.

Thanks to The Rhined for a delicious cheese mini and a bottle of wine from Oakley Wines. It was a great way to have a socially distanced girls night. They make up the cheese mini for you, but you can make requests or ask for exclusions (no blue cheese for me!). The accompanying items were also delicious -- preserves, dried fruit and nuts. Im looking forward to another night with The Rhined soon!

My friend had her baby shower today. I live all the way in Denver and called to make an order to be delivered as a surprise . They were really upfront about what to purchase & what the value was of each sized board. Then, they were sure to deliver it right away to make sure it showed up on time -which they delivered a day early because I was mistaken! They were kind enough to send me a picture of the board so I knew what they were sending. The family was surprised and in awe of how gorgeous & delicious the charcuterie board was. Honestly I was so impressed with the product, the amazing staff, the value, and the entire experience. Thank you so much to you guys for this fantastic experience from afar !!!! I am a chef & take serious pride in all that it takes to make experiences so amazing, such as the one I had! I will be visiting when I get to town next!

I ordered a Valentines Day charcuterie platter and it was excellent. A bit pricey, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’m mad at myself that I didn’t buy more cheese and meats from here. Everything I got was amazing. The baguette there is probably one of the best I’ve ever had! The staff member who assisted me was very nice and helpful! Would give more stars if I could.

We went for raceltte Wednesday, and it was so much fun. One of my previous roomates is from Switzerland, and we used to have raclette night once a week. He would ship in a big wheel of cheese, and we would all chow down! This reminded me so much of that. The raceltte was so delicious too! Such a fun experience you just have to try.

Definitely order an adult lunchable consisting of Humboldt fog and speck while you are there. She will slice and assemble it to order. You cant truly get much better than that. Hip and modern wine selection — obscure old world regions, New California wines — all at good retail prices (no markup). Cheese selection includes old world classics, some more obscure stuff, and the best of local creameries from OH, KY, and IN.

I love going into the Rhined and being greeted by their friendly staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable about cheese, wine and accoutrements. They emphasize, sell and support a variety of local businesses and farms and have become a Cincinnati staple for locals and travelers visiting the area. If the weather is nice, dont forget about sitting on the back patio!

Excellent lunch

Love love love this cheese shop! Their selection changes frequently and they are always more than happy to let you taste anything in the case. Such a wide selection could seem intimidating, but the ladies here do an excellent job of helping you navigate the various tastes flavors and textures. The cheese boards are an excellent way to try out new things especially paired with a glass of wine.

My wife and I each had a rose and we split a flight of cheese. The selections of cheeses were so well chosen, and the accoutrements were perfect. Everything was impeccably flavored, complex, fascinating. We loved the ambiance and our “monger” listened to our taste and knew just what we’d like. We discovered dimensions of our palettes previously unknown to us.

I had the best time here! Try the Cheesemongers Favorites - they gave us the perfect mix of cheeses, jams, and other goodies. They have so many excellent suggestions and pairings. The Rhined was the perfect girls night out and we will certainly be back! I dont know if this counts, but the music they had playing in the background only added to how much fun we had. The charcuterie tray and cheese flight were very small, definitely not worth the price. It’s a tiny place. We had 6 people jammed in at a 2 top with 2 people sitting in the window sill. We would have ordered more wine, but no one came back to our tiny table...

I really like this place. Theres a wonderful selection of healthy Jesus derived from animals that are pasture-raised and I never given common hormones and antibiotics like grocery store cheese. The only downfall that I see what this place is how expensive the cheeses are. Its not that theyre not worth it but unless you are rolling in dough they can be difficult to afford on a regular basis.

A must try for sure. They even let me change their sammich special to a soppressata sandwich, which was out of this world. Good wine selection as well. A good stop before going to Findlay so as you are not shopping on an empty stomach.

Nice little shop all the cheese is produced in the USA. They have wine too, preserves,crackers, bread and other items for sale. The shop has only been open for two months only.No handicap access to the store or parking.

As a real cheese lover, I am so glad my friend turned me on to this spot. You have had flights of beer, now you can finally have flights of cheese. Customers can select different types of cheese to try in their flights (stinky, soft, etc) or go with, like we did, Cheesemongers Choice. The flights come with a selection of cheeses and accompaniments, such as candied pecans and jam. You can also purchase cheese and accompaniments to take home. Additionally, The Rhined offers a selection of beers and wines.The Rhined is located in its own storefront near Findlay Market, and I would definitely suggest stopping in on a weekday or late afternoon due to limited seating.The staff is customer service oriented and filled us in on what makes the cheeses unique. They understand that education leads to appreciation.

They are house made, Ive never in my life thought to pickle a green bean but I need to learn how to make them! My friend and I ordered different boards and Im so glad we did, they put together a selection of cheeses that were perfect for each of us! 100% will be back to visit themUpdate: came back mid afternoon to grab a grilled cheese and a snack pack, had an incredible mimosa while waiting!
