What started out as a not great experience ended up being the easiest car purchase I have ever made. I felt that the manager I spoke with originally was rude and abrasive. I actually walked out even though they had the car I wanted. If it weren’t for the salesperson Ty Brewer I would have waited even knowing how hard it is to find a car right now. Ty worked with a different manager and was able to accommodate my needs with not only the perfect car but the financing as well. We did a lot of the work over the phone and by time I got to the dealership it was all ready to go. After the sale Ty took the time to go over all the features of the car and get my phone synced up. I appreciate his honesty and help along with that of today’s manager Mike. Thank you both and I will recommend you to anyone I know looking for a car

The Box runs smoothly after the oil change and fluids check. I feel safer knowing that my brakes are new and the tries are rotated. Wont have to worry about not starting in the cold weather as I have a new battery. The Box looks and runs great as she got a wash after the service was finished.

I received an appointment for the next day. Tony the service staff was customer friendly and listen.At check the person was matter of fact and did not offer me the cookies, I had to ask. A couple years ago the checkout staff was very pleasant and friendly and welcoming.

Although initially met with apparent apathy and gruffness, we were eventually very happy to find just the used car we we looking for at an excellent price. My relationship with Joseph Toyota dates back to when my wife and I purchased our 1999 Sienna, drove it for 10 years and then we traded the van in on Camrys in 2009, started leasing every three years (two Camrys) and have been very satisfied with the service and team at Joseph Toyota. Joe Schroeder has been our contact since 2009 and we are just completely satisfied with Joes commitment to excellence... Thanks Joe. I purchased a car from this dealership before the pandemic and everything was fine, this year I needed one more car for my son so I went to this dealership again to buy new one, but unfortunately I had the worst experience ever, stay away from Larry hes the worst salesman, he was not helpful or accommodating at all, even the manager wasnt helpful at all, during this hard time with low car inventory you would expect better service and respect but thats not what you get. They lost our business and I will never go back to this dealership

I bought a car from Joseph Toyota in 2019 and everyone was very helpful. I now own the car for a few years and for the first time needed help understanding the car’s warranty for an issue that seems to be well known online on forums. I tried calling the dealership and was told someone would find out and call me back but no one did so I called them again and this time they wanted me to stop by service. I stopped by service and without full understanding of the issue or what caused it, the service rep told me that it wasn’t covered under the warranty. How can something not be covered under warranty when tons of people are having the same problem and posting online?. It would have been nice if the rep went above and beyond to understand my issue and tried to understand whether or not this is a common problem. With all this being said, I don’t recommend buying or servicing your vehicle at this dealership. Take your vehicles somewhere else!

I bought a new Sienna on this Monday, and encountered an issue related to the financing. Wonder if this is just a miscommunication or something else more serious.I was informed of only the higher APR rate ~4.6% with 5/3 bank before signing the paper work, while I was qualified for the lower rate ~2.5% with Toyota financing, which the financing person confirmed afterwards. There was no rebate or incentive associated with the ~4.6% APR to my knowledge, as a result, I had to pay ~$1500 (rough estimate) more due to this loan option.Another problem, which seems more serious, is that neither the sales person nor the finance person told me that I had the lower APR option, even though I asked the latter specifically before signing why my rate was so high.My sales person did not discuss financing options with me, and just asked me to meet with the financing person and to sign the paper work. I did ask the finance person why my rate was so high, he told me that was what I could get. He never mentioned a lower rate with Toyota financing was available.I trusted the dealership team back then, but ended up with unnecessary financial loss, this really does not make any sense. I tried to call and / or emailed several relevant managers about this issue in the past two days, but still have not received any response until now. Hopefully the dealership team can take this issue seriously and find out why.

When I went to the dealership to pick it up, they made it very simple for me as a first time buyer. I love that Chris took his time to go through the entire car and show me every feature. I dropped my Toyota Corolla SE 2022 off 8/23/21 and left it for service for 8/24/2021 - it was due for the 18 month check up and an oil change - I asked the car be ready by about 10:30 AM, as I needed to be at work at 11AM. The service tech called me at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 8/24 and told me my car was ready. I said I would be there by 10:30AM as I had arranged for a ride at 10:15AM. There was No Charge for this Service, of which I am very appreciative. I did not get my car till 11AM (I was late for work) they could not find my keys - when they finally found them, they said they were on the wrong board and they were looking for the wrong Tag Number. Good Customer Service for the car being ready early - bad Customer Service for not being able to find the keys.

After what felt like months and months of searching for the exact 4runner we wanted, we almost gave up. Every dealer showed x amount in stock but they were all sold or still in transit. I happened to call Joseph Toyota and spoke to the nicest salesman Ive ever talked to. His name is Joe Schroeder and he told us they had one coming in but also had a TRD Off Road Premium with a bunch of TRD add ons. It wasnt even listed on their website but it was even better than he described. We drove 45 minutes to get there and Joe was awesome to work with! I have had so many bad experiences with car salesmen but he was so laid back and answered all of our questions. We got there at 6:30 and they stayed til after closing. The finance guy was great too! This was honestly the best car buying experience weve ever had.

The service center waiting area was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with snacks and a wide variety drinks (Water, coffee, soda). I was there only for routine maintenance on a Toyota lease (15k maintenance) and it was easy to make a Saturday appointment on their website. I got plenty of reminders including via text and I was in/out in right around an hour. I have absolutely no complaints. Its been a while since Ive been to any other dealership than this Joseph Toyota, but I feel they keep their standards very high and it was a positive experience. I know cost/value of service is important to others, but since this service is part of free Toyota care that comes with a new lease, I cant comment on the monetary value of the service/repair.

We did a least buyout and the experience was terrible. We had to do all the financing leg work on our own, it took over a month because we could never get an answer from the Joseph worker, they tried to take my plates at signing--the license bureau said they should know better and we had to get them back. After signing, they filled out paperwork incorrectly and we had to send them more stuff.Overall, terrible experience. When we expressed our frustration to the dealership, their response was oh ok.

Horrible experience. My salesperson, Luke, did a great job, but the Finance Manager is terrible. Priced the vehicle I was interested in $5000 OVER MSRP, then offered me $7000 UNDER the KBB trade in value on my vehicle. No negotiations. Buyer beware!

I had a recall on my Toyota. Dough at Joseph Toyota made an appointment to pick up my car several months ago. I waited for hours. When I called they said that they had forgotten. Finally, this morning somebody picked up my car and brought it back several hours later. They had done nothing except for driven and touched the car without gloves and with dirty boots and spent my gas. They had not dealt with the recall because I had stuff in my car. The front seats where the airbag is were completely empty. The backseat had stuff (bags with disinfectants mostly), but so what? I would strongly recommend avoiding Joseph Toyota and esp. Dough. A friend has spoken well of Kings Toyota, so if you need a Toyota dealer that would be a better choice. I am very sorry to have contacted Joseph Toyota and let them drive and touch my car for nothing. Avoid this business.

The service department is not as good as other Toyota dealerships. They offered me a 10% discount but never applied it. Never apologized after I pointed out their mistake. If paying a premium for dealership service, the quality of the service should be high.

Have purchased many vehicles from this dealer but their service is terrible and its eliminated my future business with this dealer. Long wait even with an appointment and I had to call in to inquire about the status due to communication from service advisor. Also they have the audacity to charge for scanning for a code that I already provided. Minimum work done and they try to nickel and dime you for every last bit. Poor value.

I went to the body shop to turn my car in for service, within a day or so I was told my car would be totaled out by my insurance company. Nancy and the staff were very courteous to me and understanding. Im just said I dont have a Toyota anymore to get serviced.

New to the area: Came for honest fair pricing and left feeling lied to and ripped off...Last Saturday, I called several Toyota dealerships in Cincinnati and even my local Firestone service center to get estimates on a tune-up for my 2006 Lexus ES 330. Each estimate was around $300 to change the spark plugs on this vehicle with a standard V-6 engine. When I called and spoke with an service advisor at Joseph Toyota, I was informed that changing spark plugs on this vehicle would start at $250.00. I grew up in a family where we would drive out of the way to save a few bucks here and there, so I made the trip from the eastside to drop off the vehicle on Sunday evening at Joseph Toyota. I also requested an oil change on the drop-off ticket. On Monday, morning I received a call from Anderson to inform me that the tune-up would cost over $896.00 and the oil change would cost $79.95... $944.27 out the door after taxes and a discount. What?!? Keep in mind, I expected the starting price of $250 to go up because there are other components, based on my research, that may or may not need to be replaced when tuning up the 2006 ES 330. It turns out that they determined the Plenum Gasket and Valve Cover Gasket needed to be replaced. At this point, I had asked for the vehicle to be returned because the price from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning was drastically different. Anderson informed me the vehicle was already pulled apart 3 hours after I requested an estimate to be e-mailed to me. After some unnecessary negotiating, he lowered the price to $827.57 out the door. I asked why the spark plugs alone remained at $554.00 and was told that I was quoted for a 4 cylinder vehicle - I found this hard to believe since Kings Toyota and Firestone were right at $300 for spark plugs on a vehicle that is only available as a V6.

Worst experience ever - Had a 9AM appointment for my 5K mile service check up and at 10:45 the work on my car had not started yet. I asked the guy working the computer at the entrance what is the point of having an appointment if they were going to be starting work 2 hours after the appointment time and he couldnt give me an answer. I had somewhere else to be so I had him give me my keys and I left.

First and foremost I would like to give my thanks to Cheryl Nix. She followed me through my lease end and continued through to the purchase of my 2021 Highlander. I was very pleased with her expertise and patience and I highly recommend her as a salesperson.I did have a small defect in the car that has yet to be fixed nor was I contacted about it. Not a big deal, although it concerns me as far as customer service and follow up goes. I also feel like they wanted to get rid of the car I felt kind of rushed. Fantastic buying experience. Our salesman Chris Ward was so patient, informative and able to answer all of our many questions. My daughter was buying her first car so she wanted to test drive several vehicles both new and used to get a better feel for what she wanted. Chris was always a step ahead of us getting various keys and was always ready for us to see or test drive the next one. He was so good at helping her understand the features and differences of each car and option. I was charged for a diagnostic that didn’t find any issue with my car. I had lights flashing on my dashboard that were specifically indicated as a covered fix based on a form that was mailed to me from Toyota. I didn’t know I had to pay for the diagnostic til I got there (not mentioned on the form) and they ultimately couldn’t find what was wrong. I don’t think I should be charged when no service was actually rendered.It’s a 2 star review because while dissatisfied with the process, the shuttle service worked well which allowed me to drop my car off all day. They gave me a ride to and from work while (not) working on my car.

Came in to Joseph looking to trade up for a bigger vehicle and was very disappointed in the treatment and lack of professionalism. Low balled me on my trade, with little negotiation on the new purchase. Its like they didnt even try for my business. Went up to Performance Toyota in Fairfield and had the best car buying experience EVER! Salesman actually took their time to want to meet my needs and that was a good feeling. Performance gave me an insane amount for my trade and gave me a steal on my new RAV 4. I will NOT be returning to Joseph, such a shame

This is absolutely the worst place. Avoid them as much as you can. They sold me a car, 2015 Honda Accord. They pulled my credit which is excellent, set up payments, and everything, and told me to come and pick up the car, I put insurance on a car, and made arrangements to come and drive car home. The way they told me is you need to come and get your car today ASAP, its yours. I am 109 miles away. I made arrangements, took time off work, got money, and then they called me and told me that meanwhile they sold this car to someone else, a relative of the Vice President of this company. I wasted half day with them, they pulled my credit, lowered my score, ordered me to get there ASAP knowing that I am 110 miles away, and after I did all this, they sold this car to someone else. I have never seen such a dishonesty before and I dont know how to describe this. May be they did this because I have an accent. So be aware before you deal with them. Then they tried to sell me another car, older year, with twice as many miles for about the same price. I feel like they completely take advantage of people and have no regard for anybody, and they tell you any lie whichever is convenient at a time.

Went in planning to purchase, was informed by sales manager financing was required to obtain incentives. Sure thing, met with Toyota finance officer who states I am requied to finance for a minimum 90 days before pay off. Contacted Toyota finance service center immediately to learn the finance officer info. was misleading. There is no 90 day finance requirement. In fact final payoff can be made anytime. This kind of deceit makes me believe the finance requirement to obtain incentives was also false as well and merely a sales ploy to manipulate to incentivize their finance sales plan. Stereotypical sales tactics. Not happy!

Couldn’t find the exact car I wanted from my local dealer even searching the 4 state Gulf Region. Even tho I they ordered it June 2 it would not get here until September at the earliest. So I started searching cars.com & found one in Cincinnati at Joseph Toyota & requested a call back. Chris Ward, a fantastic guy, called me & verified they did have what I was looking for. He asked me what I wanted to pay & I told him. He said he would check & I figured that would be the end of it. But he soon called be back & said “It looks like you’ll be coming to Cincinnati.” Even with the expense of flying & all costs of driving home, motel-food-gas-tolls, I ended up saving $1000 over what my local dealer wanted.So would I recommend Joseph Toyota? ABSOLUTELY!!Let me add a few words about Chris Ward. He was wonderful to work with. Made sure I got exactly what I wanted. He even picked me up at the airport. He had the car ready to go & saw that the paperwork was ready. Even suggested a great place to eat on my way out of town. He was able to get me in & out in about an hour. If you ever bought a new car & remember all the paperwork then you know how quick that is.

We bought our Toyota RAV4 at Joseph Toyota! Our experience with the seller was top notch.However, we went for our second regular service today and they kept us waiting for 2 hours without any updates on time or explanation.On top of it, the gentleman taking care of the service appointment and documents was unreasonably rude and he told us that he was too busy to check how long the service would take, when we enquired after 1 and a half hours. Overall not a pleasant experience. I feel like they are interested in selling you the cars, but their after-sales service is horrible!Do not recommend.

We live 4 minutes from another Toyota dealership in Anderson Township (which we suffered through for years) yet since 2001 or 2002 we have been gladly driving the 45 minutes to Joseph Toyota of Cincinnati. Weve purchased three Highlanders and one Sienna from the Joseph Toyota dealership. The reasons are extensive. The sales process, the service process and the courteous- exceptional service provided by everyone there is mind-blowing. The service department also excels. Yesterday I bought a 2021 RAV4 Hybrid XLE. It is the first new car I have ever bought. I drove my old car for 14 years. Chris Ward, the sales agent couldnt have been more helpful. He explained the procedure carefully and respectfully and even set up my Apple Play and Bluetooth for me and helped me empty my old car. I called hours before driving 45mins and arriving for a test drive to verify they did business with the lender of my choice. I showed up, the prices did not match the prices on the internet and salesman refused to run my credit application at the lender of my choice, insisted that I run my application with other lenders. I did not feel secure with this dealership, I was basically left to figure something else out on my own. Very POOR customer service and not a person of color in sight. Went to get first oil change & tire rotation on 2/4 at 10k on 2020 Tacoma. Everything was great until I was wiping down the wheels the next day & noticed my front center cap was loose. I popped it off and every tab was bent plus one was gone (NOT COOL). Straightened them out but didnt help, now it will probably fall off goin down the road. Maybe they will see this and correct the issue with the mechanic. Hopefully they will provide me with a replacement when I call them, Im sure theyre not cheap.Edit: Joseph contacted me the day after my post and are going to order a new center cap free of charge. Im puttin up a 5 star for excellent customer service, very much appreciated.

Overall the service was good. My problem I encountered was with my remote key. My car dash screen indicated I needed a battery in my remote key. I made this known to the service man and he agreed to take care of it. However, my dash board continues to indicate a battery is needed. Unfortunately, Im inconvenienced to return for the battery. Feeling my time is not valued.

When I arrived at the Joseph Toyota dealership and pulled into the open service bay I was immediately met by a service representative who welcomed me and confirmed my appointment. I was advised of the approximate time the service would take and directed to the waiting area. The waiting area closest to the service bay was full with everyone maintaining social distancing so I proceeded to the second waiting area where there was only one other person. All areas were bright, clean and well maintained. After the indicated waiting time I was notified that the service had been completed and was briefed on the work that had been completed. After settling the bill I proceeded to my car and was pleasantly surprised to see that the car had been washed. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will return for future service.

I visited late February for a routine 1-year service of my Camry XSE. I had a problem with the remote connect feature and could not start the car remotely with the Toyota app. I called Toyotacare prior to the visit, they gave me a Toyota Service Bulletin # to give to the service advisor, which they performed. When the service was finished, the remote start did not work. My service advisor said it may take some time, so maybe call Toyotacare. I wasnt offered any other options. Problems happen, but people who represent Toyota should own customers issues and resolve to get them fixed before you leave the dealership.

The first time my husband and I went here to look at cars we had a very rude salesperson whose name I won’t mention. When we returned six days later we had a great guy named Derek Miller who answered all of our questions & joked around with us. When you go there ask for him-he’s awesome 😎

Excellent experience. My car was pick up for service, due to my concerns of the coronavirus. When the service was completed, it was taken to the Body shop for a fender repair. The car was picked up on Tuesday and returned to me two days later on Thursday. The car looks great! Thank you.

Cant trust them to do work if they cant even figure out (1) what SPARK PLUGS are for and (2) what engine went into the car. This review is for their service department, but I wont buy nothing here if I cant trust that warranty work can be done to my satisfaction.

We had an appointment time with a specific person at Joseph Toyota to complete financing of a our cars. We approached an older woman at the front information desk to check in and she acted as if our very presence was an inconvenience to her. She informed us that the person we had the appointment with was not there that day and asked us to take a seat and wait. We could hear that they have an overhead speaker system and wondered why she didnt round up someone to help us in the finance department. We watched as our appointment time came and went with lots of people walking around and never speaking to us. My husband finally went into one of the financing department bays and asked for help. That is when we were informed that we needed to wait until our cars were done being worked on for them to start any paperwork. They needed the odometer readings to start financing. They cant go to the mechanics and ask for that information????? Bottom line, our appointment was at 2:45 and we got out of there at 5:30pm. This whole dealership needs a course in customer service.

The sales and financing were excellent. I do think the service department could of done a more thorough job. There was a noise in the drivers door I found the hinge was missing the nuts off the bolts. The wiper blades need to be replaced. But over all a good used truck. I would recommend to buy from Joseph.
