My favorite was a marshmallow covered in caramel. The chocolate covered Oreo was also good. The vanilla and chocolate fudge were not good enough to finish eating. The peanut butter fudge was just average tasting. It is a cute store with friendly service but it is also expensive for candy that just doesnt tempt us to come back.
I suggest you go there and have your own experience words cant describe the tastes
If you are looking for truly delicious old school candy, the kind I grew up on as a little girl here in the city, look no further. I recently went to the store in Rookwood Pavilion a week before Easter. The section of opera creams, fruit nut eggs and (of course) hand made bunnys was amazing. I bought about 8 different varieties and my daughters and I LOVED them! Todays mass produced chocolate has preservatives and stabilizers in them. This ruins the melt-in-your mouth goodness than fresh no chemicals added chocolate has. Fawns has none of that. Its worth a drive and the time to check this wonderful store out. I am sitting here eating a homemade buckeye and typing this.. Yum!! A++
Really neat place to look around and my daughter loved it but I didnt want to pay what they were asking for anything.
Oh my God, single best candy ever in a cute store.
