Customize your own candle! When you arrive, you will get a clipboard with paper and pen. Go over to the wall of candles and start smelling! Write down your favorite smells, keeping in mind you will narrow it down to 3. Then choose what product you want to make(candle, soap, etc). You will then sit at the counter and mix your creation together until you get the smell you want. Expect to spend about an hour from start to finish. Candles are not immediately ready so you will need to come back 90 minutes later to pick up. Staff has been friendly and helpful both times I have been in.

This place is awesome, you go through and smell the candle scent and then you can combine the scents to make your own unique scent. You can make candles, lotion and oil diffuser. It was fun, the staff was great and the prices arent much more than other candle shops.its a must see and do.

What a fun way to kill 30 minutes! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. You pick your fragrance collection and then you pick your candle. If you happen to not know what two or three scents go together, the staff will recommend scents for you. I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this place was.

I absolutely love this place! Its such a fun way to spend some time! The ppl who work there are always courteous and helpful and the oils/scents are amazing! Ive bought candles and body scrub, using my own desired scents just makes it all that much more enjoyable! Their brown sugar scrub is a must purchase!!

So fun! You craft your own signature fragrance in about an hour!They give you a clipboard and you write down all the aromaric scents you like. (Over 100 to choose from.) You go to the counter and they have the scents in bottles. You can combine 2-3 scents together and create your fragrance! I asked their opinion to help me decide and theyre very knowledgeable. You pour the oils in the container. If you want more of ex: Rose scent, then you pour more of that oil in your container. Stir/blend the oils together till you get the fragrance you desire!We each created 4 different fragrances. The products we chose: a candle, lotion, soap (2 bars), body spray, diffuser oil.... Price depends on the product. If choosing a candle or soap, come back in 1.5 hours and pick up your goodie bag!

Candle Lab is always so much fun, and produces a great product. The experience of crafting your own scent makes the process engaging and unique. A wonderful idea for a date, or for unique gifts/thank yous. I have been to several Candle Labs before. This was my first time at the Anderson location. Spacious inside, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend!

Celebrated a friend birthday there. Fun and unique activity. Really enjoyed all the scent options and product options. Staff was super friendly. Only downside is the actual candles take 2 hours to set up, and we were from out of town. So we had to swing back another day to pick them up. But they have lots of other options that dont take as long to set up as well :)

Great for a Date Night!Was really fun to pick your own scents or come together with your partner or friend to make one together. Would be great gifts for special occasion or holidays. Great girl night out as well. The cost could be better but you are making your own. The chairs looked nice but they werent very comfortable if you sit very long. Otherwise, a great time...would highly suggest!

Fun and interesting thing to do.

A fablous place for all. We have been numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. They have over 120 quality essential oils that can be mixed to create your own signature fragrance. Your special fragrance can be made into many different products like candles, body spray, reed diffusers, goats milk soap(you receive 2 bars), essential oil blends for your home, oil warmers, and room spray are some of the products you can create. You can smell your oils together to see if you like the combination, if not keep mixing until you come up with your perfect blend. The candles are soy candles with lead free wicks, the soap uses goats milk base, and the body spray is made with the oils...which in my experience is great for your skin and last much longer than the alcohol based mall type sprays. Go and have a great time making memories and fablous scents. Gentlemen, not sure what to get your wife or mother? Make her an original gift. Shell love it. The staff are always courteous and helpful and if your not sure what will smell great together they are willing to help take the time so you have an original product you are satisfied with. We have been frequenting The Candle Lab as much as possible and have truly had a great experience every time. Most products are very reasonably priced from 14$ to 18$. Recently my daughter, her grandmother, great grandmother, and myself went together. I can honestly say 10 year olds to 96 year (young) olds all had a great time and highly reccomend this establishment. Another great addition to the Anderson area.

Awesome time! Very kind staff. However the candles are a little bit on the weak side scent wise (the end result of what you make). I would highly recommend the fragrance bottle! Great for cars or room fresheners!

Making a candle at The Candle Lab is an amazing experience. From the time you walk in, the sensory of the entire experience is very hands on. The staff is friendly and makes it so simple for you to blend your own unique candle. I planned my bachelorette party for about 10 ladies one evening at this location. I emailed them asking to make a reservation a few months prior and they were super positive and quick to respond. Their communication was excellent all the way through the date of my party, as I confirmed once with another email and again with a phone call. I had such a great party here that evening! They accommodated my large group perfectly. While our candles cooled, my group left the store and ate at local restaurant within walking distance in the town centre. By the time we had finished our meal the candles were cooled and ready to be taken home! An amazing experience.

We had gone to Candle Lab in OTR and decided to try the one in Anderson since it was bigger. The selection was nice as always. So glad we did. Got proposed to their and the staff was INCREDIBLE on this special day. Will be going back as a tradition!

This was fun for an afternoon get- together. It smells nice inside (not overly purfumey like another pre-made candle store) so we were able to smell the different scents (they have a lot!) and pick out our containers. It was quick to make the candles we chose and the pricing wasnt bad. We went to a restaurant nearby for lunch and they were done when we came back. Im looking forward to coming back and, possibly, doing candles as a promotion for our business.

Such a nice impromptu date while running errands up and down Beechmont. They were so helpful in identifying scent combinations and while they made us aware of all the things that were available, they werent overly pushy with the upsell. Pleasant and helpful and really prices seem comparable to those fancy candle stores at the mall (price vs burntime) but you get a scent all your own. A really enjoyable afternoon. My husband and I are talking about trips back with the kids and maybe our Moms or sisters.
