Absolutely fantastic! We needed lumber to build racks for banks of cages. Not only were they able to help us find what we needed in our budget, but they were nothing but courteous when doing so. Id like to give a special kudos to Rob in the warehouse for being exceptionally polite, understanding what we were looking for, and selecting boards that met our needs. Will absolutely go back if we need more!

The woman that answers the phone sounded like she couldnt hear me. So I asked can you hear me? She then paused for a long time and then yelled this is a business! What do you need?! I then asked again if she could hear me. she then paused again for a long time and screamed you are wasting my time!! I asked for her manager and apparently she CAN hear because she transferred me to his voicemail. I am awaiting a reply from her manager. What a rude way to treat people on the phone.

Great customer service and great cabinets. We remodeled our kitchen this year and hired HPL to make a custom cabinetry order for us. The cabinets turned out beautiful. The best part about this company is that there were a couple of mistakes with the cabinets. They fixed them! Right away! Rena was a delight to work with and she made sure that everything worked out in the end and our cabinets were beautiful. Well done!

I was searching for a unique headboard and found a discontinued, out of stock door on display that I really liked. Since I wasnt going to hang it in a frame, Hyde Park Lumber was willing to sell the display to me. The staff even pointed out that the door will have two holes in it from the display mount. This exemplifies the Out​ of Big Box thinking you wont find at national suppliers. Awesome experience today.

New favorite store! I walked in and was a little overwhelmed at the breadth of materials and supplies. Hardwood, construction grade, parking grade, starting grade and everything in between. The employees in the lumber yard were courteous and helpful. I well definitely be returning.

The absolute best! Quality products; a great, knowledgeable and responsive staff; and a willingness to go above and beyond to get you what you need.Greg and Mills helped me immensely with a few large home improvement projects.

I Had ordered a product worth less than $500. The sales person reneged on the agreement and delivered the product that was incomplete - probably $50 worth of work would have fixed it. Ran the complaint through the channels to the highest person - three senior managers in between. Everyone along the line of the command was rude, including the CEO. May be my poor English (Ph.D., and MBA) had something to do with it. Hyde Park wasted their senior managers time in being rude, the CEO or the product VP did not understand customer relations - all that for a $50.00 fix. May be their management staff needs to go to the charm school! For paltry $50 fix they wasted my valuable time where I returned the unfinished, poor workmanship product. Can you imagine - if for $50 they are so rude, what would they do for a hundreds of thousand dollars worth of project?Would I consider them again? think about it.

Fantastic customer service. Walked in and helped immediately. Told them about some ice in the parking lot and they were immediately out there throwing down salt. The guy inside the lumber yard was friendly and very helpful. More expensive than the box stores, but that is more than made up with their customer service.

Dissapointed in my Marsh cabinets. 3 cabinets were constructed using refurbished material. Whats up Hyde Park Lumber. Stand by the products you sell.

Was not able to do business with HP Lumber. My request was simple. Employee was rude and short with me. When I said Id go somewhere else he said f$$$ You and slammed door in my face. Will not go back there, they have too many good competitors who provide same thing. Will not recommend. Avoid that place.

Best lumber in the city! I love their selection of deck material and its always in stock. They load the car or truck while youre there. Lumber prices are as good or better than Home Depot. Try it...youll never go back to Home Depot.

My recent trip here was my first visit to a legit lumber yard. The staff were patient and helped me locate the wood I needed for a home project. I will definitely be returning to this location for my future timber needs. The quality and straightness of the boards were exceptional as well.

Horrible product organization followed by rude employees who seemingly care less about customer satisfaction or selling product. I wont be back to this establishment again, I will be happy to drive farther away to get a quality experience with people who show the customer they are not a replaceable commodity...let alone the prices HPL charges are comical, do some research before wasting your money with this place .
