I recently had an issue with another Tire Discounter in Cincinnati, Ohio and I vowed to stop using Tire Discounter’s altogether. Their is one reason I keep coming back and it’s Mark at the Colerain Ave location. Today, I came in to have a tire plugged. I watched this man answer 4 calls, address two other people as they walked in and he waited on 3 customers, while the other employee at the small kiosk did nothing! Thanks Mark! You definitely deserve a raise for your professionalism and great customer service!
I went to their Florence, KY location and had two vehicles rotated and balanced. Both it felt like they didn’t do anything, and I even took one back, they test drove my car without my consent and the tech even stated he went 80mph in my vehicle. I had not been made aware they planned on test driving my vehicle and on top of that, they didn’t fix the issue.
Had a issue with my ToyotaTacoma with service that was completed at one of the stores, Alex Ramsey did an outstanding job assisting me to get it resolved, Thank you !!, and thank you Melanie Robinson for your support and listening to my problems, Great job, Very Professional.
Went to the Reading location. Got tires replaced less than a year ago and paid for the extra warranty for if I get a flat to get the tires replaced. Days later one of my tires was going flat. We called them and instead of switching it out, “they fixed it. The second time I went to get air put in so I could say something since my fiancé has taken the car each time. I explained to them no one had time to keep bringing the car back to them. We both work and I work 30 minutes away. They scheduled an appointment and about a week later it was going flat again. We started just putting air in ourselves for the same tire. Now for appointment number 3 they are saying they are going to repair the tire a third time. What is the purpose of purchasing the warranty? They should have replaced the tire the first time. No one has time for this bs to keep going back and sitting and waiting. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.
Id leave no stars if possible. I took my truck to my local tire discounters to have a flat repaired. During the process my wheel was accidentally hit with a hammer. They let me know they damaged it and offord to repaire it. After getting the wheel back it was painted a different color. I brought it to the GMs attention, he acknowledged it was a different shade. He told me that there was nothing else that can be done about it and that stuff happens.
Tire Discounters put my family and I at risk. I recently had my tires rotated prior to going on a short trip. We did notice a small wobble at low speeds that went away at higher speeds. Checked the tires and from what I could see there was not any issue. When I got home I was able to take a closer I found one of the tires with the steel showing and a large bulge on the tread. Needless to say I was shocked that the person who rotated my tires did not let me know one of the tires was really worn. I would have bought 4 new tires on the spot. I called my local store and talked to the service manager as the general manager was not available, I am still awaiting a return call. In the mean time I am another tire company replace all 4 tires today. Poor training put my family and I at risk.Per your request I have sent an email with my contact information.
Took my car to tire discounters in troy, Ohio. I knew I had a problem so I was expecting a call. Got the call I had a bad ball joint control arm. K no problem fix it. But your not even gonna call me and tell me that I had a frozen bolt so you cant do my whole alignment to spec. I think i should have gotten a call on that too. So now I am rolling with a aligned front but not back. How much does that make since.
Was quoted four different prices at four different locations for the same exact work...ranging from fully covered in warranty to $1004. Ended up paying $255 but had to buy the parts myself. The founders themselves were men of their word stating that the price they quote is the price you pay. It’s disappointing how much that quote varies from store to store for the same work requirements.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Huber Heights location is absolutely the worst people to let touch your vehicle. Will Never go back.
I placed an order on Saturday (1/25/2020) due to the desired tires not being in stock and returned on Monday (1/27/2020) requesting a refund. There had been no work done on my vehicle, the full balance was paid as a deposit for the tires. The refund had to faxed to corporate to be approved . I was asked to call back several times as my name did not appear on their spreadsheet. When I was called back, I was asked for my credit card number so they could apply my refund. Overall it took 10 days to return my funds that it took once swipe to take.1/27/2020: Requested Refund on2/3/2020: Received a phone call from Tire Discounters requesting my credit card number (really!)2/6/2020: Full Refund provided
I wish there was a ZERO stars I was charged 200$ for 1 brake caliper for a chrystler van that the highest i could find on the internet was 80$ and the cheapest being 30$ SCAMMERS
If I could give zero stars I would. Was told when I bought my tires to bring it back for a free alignment when I do they charge me $99.99. The location I went to stated the guy that told me that no longer works there. I call corporate and was told a ticket would be open. Whatever that means. We will see what happens.
I am very frustrated with Tire Discounters corporate office. I have been waiting for a call from someone higher to take my complaint. Ive called multiple times and no one has returned my call. Your in the mix of not taking anymore services for my parents or I. I highly do not recommend Tire Discounters anymore. I have a credit card with them and gave them a lot of my hard working money. There employees messed my car up but they dont want to take responsibility of it.
They damaged my car! The technician backed the car into another car after the service was done. The manager of the store assured me they would make good on the damage at the time. Then the runaround started. First, they said it was the other cars fault. When the other cars insurance company said it was the driver of my cars fault. Then I emailed the GM repeatedly. No response. Then I took it up with corporate. They assured me it was in the process. I must have left ten messages for the CSR and got no response. This took two months! When I finally had another rep track down the CSR, he said they werent going to pay and that I should contact my insurance company. I have $1000 deductible! All of this in spite of the fact Ive been a customer there for 15 years. I advise not to business with them, they do not take responsibility for themselves. I wish there was a worse rating than one star.(Revised after their weak response) Your response, after five months, is quite inadequate. I have a large deductible, which means that I will have to pay the damage myself. The only reason I have not already taken you to small claims court is because of the Covid 19 situation. As soon as small claims court has resumed normal operations, I will press my case there. There is no doubt you are liable. When I do, I will be naming your corporation, the shop itself, and the manager of the shop as defendants.
Everything included....not quite!!! Purchased 4 tires from Sharonville store for my BMW, that I was told the store could install and align. When I picked up the car, I was told by the technician that there must be something wrong with the car, they could not do the alignment, it maxed out there machine and I would have to take it to the dealership. The vibration with the car was horrible when I left. Took it to BMW where I was told, there was no way an alignment was attempted, as well as the tires were NOT balanced..and the best part 2 of the tires were mounted inside out!!!! Quality work?? The answer, bring it back and we will fix it. Why wasn’t it done right the first time??? Took the report to the manager along with pictures of the tires. He wished he could do something to make it right, but all he could do was tell me that the tech that worked on my car no longer works there and tires inside out aren’t a safety concern! They don’t care about customers or doing the job right! BEWARE before you are out more money than you would be taking it somewhere else!
Best Black Friday ever ! set of 4 tires @ $150 off plus Valet delivery service. They picked up my truck from my home and brought it back to me . ( Out the door with more)
I bought four tires Michelin’s very expensive was told it came with a rebate.. which made my decision to buy the tire.. I got online to redeem the rebate, when the rebate said it had expired a week prior.. (Wow) My husband also has new tires and came in to have his rotated, and asked about the rebate.. This time Tire Discounters said that we had to mail it in.. Being very suspicious my husband mailed it in... Got a reply about a week later, saying it had expired... Came back to Tire Discounters for my rotation and brought it up thinking they may honor what was sold to me...The associate told me that their corporate office tells them to keep offering the rebates to sell a better tire, even if it did expire.. can you believe this?? Don’t make the rebate promise tyse you into buying tires please...
Bad, bad experience, Went in yesterday for front end, found out steering gear box broke and wheel bearing was bad. Ask how much quoted 1009.54 They get done 1954.04 thats where this all starts. Long story short they had my truck for 31 hours when I was told yesterday at 10am it would be done by end of the day. We finally got our truck at 5:30 this evening. Will never go back or recommend that place to anyone. Counter people when you walk in very unprofessional. I lost 2 days work & my husband did also, because they like. Wilmington, Ohio store. Called cooperate never called back. Get way to run a business like to people.
I had a car towed to this location for repairs only to find out after the overpriced repairs were made that approximately $300 worth of personal property had been stolen from my car. After paying for the repairs I approached my car and found it unlocked and some of the contents of the car moved around in the cab. After calling the shop in an attempt to be reimbursed a represenative stated Im not sure what you want us to do about it. As many people know, this shop is located in one of the rougher areas of Lexington and it should be common practice for employees to keep customers vehicles locked. If the shop had left $300 dollars worth of tools in my car by accident they would be losing their minds in order to get their property returned. I simply want reimbursed for property theft that was due to the neglect of the shop and they are unwilling to pay for it. I would avoid this location due to its surrounding neighborhood and their unwillingness to pay for their neglect. Ive even filed a police report and Im still getting nowhere. Avoid this location.FOLLOW UP: It has been approximately 6 weeks since the incident occurred and the corporate office will not respond to my emails or phone calls. Terrible business.
Horrible service in Sunbury, OH!! Bought 4 new tires. Took it back 4 days later for the alignment to be done. At check out, the employee Micah didnt say a word to me that anything was wrong. I looked at the paperwork and found the rear alignment had not been done. I called the store and was told my control arm bushing was bad and the eccentric bolts were frozen! Why was I not told!! As I sat in the waiting room waiting for my alignment, Micah and another employee named Jason were rude to customers on the phone and in person!! I had a great experience with Jim. He is the parts manager at that location. Every other employee does not care about the customers at all!! I will never go back there again!!
Lie and scam your money. They tried telling me it was going to cost 1.5 hours which is $110 an hour to take a bolt out of my steering rod and reverse it, when the book only calls for 0.5; Little did they know I’m a mechanic and know what I’m talking about . I was there to get an Alignment because I just replace my tie rods and pitman arm. Don’t go there !!
New management. Went in to have tires rotated & upon leaving noticed a small puncture on the inside of my drivers side door. I’m the only one that drives my vehicle & know for certain it happened while at the shop. Mill Run, in UA/Hilliard. I returned, the manager looked at it & offered no help whatsoever. My new tires will be bought elsewhere!! I wouldn’t buy tires for a moped from this store.
Im only rating them at 1 because there is no option for zero or negative numbers. Springboro, OH store -- horrible service, lies, put on phone hold for almost 20 minutes, couldnt find our car in their system, parts left off, saw a car that a tech had wrecked in the parking lot, saw 2 temper-tantrums by mechanics, dropping off for couple hours at 10 AM became 7:30 pm after store was closed, one of the new tires was totally flat the next morning. No apologies from anybody. Horrible!! Never, ever again. Stay away!!
Purchased 4 new tires in April of 2018 for $650. 2 of the tires have the wires showing through. We are still under miles and warranty .Took back to Hebron, KY branch and they said it’s your fault didn’t rotate. Called Corporate and they said it could be a couple issues but sorry your issue. I’ve bought used tires for $20 that lasted longer. BEWARE if buying tires from Tire Discounters!!!
I went to the Middletown, Ohio location to get a low tire repaired, and when I returned to get my car, it had a dent and a vertical scratch down the drivers side door. Steve, the manager, said to get an estimate from their body shop and he would pay for the damage. Since it would take 3 days to repair, I asked for a rental car to get to work, and was told that was unreasonable. He told me to call the regional manager, which I did, but then they decided they would not pay for anything. This cost me over $500 to get my door fixed. It is sad that such a large, profitable company like Tire Discounters is so greedy and treats their customers so poorly.
I purchased 2 tires and had them installed from Tire Discounters at 8701 Princeton Glendale Rd. My sales person was Antwan Isaac and I was charged $649.34 for the tires. I was out of town immediately after the tires were installed, but once I returned I notice the two tires were not a match to the current tires that were on the vehicle. I have (LT315/70R17 DUELER A/T Revo 2) but they installed Revo 3 without my consent.I called Antwan to ask him about the issue he said that the tires were not available and his exact words were to see if I could find them myself!I told him that I didn’t authorize him to put a different model tire on my vehicle. The following day I located and purchased the proper tires and brought them back to Tire Discounters where they took off the wrong tires and installed the correct ones. After which they kept the original “wrong” tires that I had already paid for and didn’t immediately offer a refund although it was his mistake. Antwan also would not provide me with a number to a manager or supervisor and I still haven’t heard anything about my refund of $649.34 for the tires I no longer possess. In the 20 years of dealing with this organization, Antwan Isaac is the worst sales person I’ve ever encountered. He lacked communication, paid no attention to detail, provided terrible customer service and was very unprofessional suggesting the customer find their own tire.My hopes is that Tire Discounters will take care of this situation by processing the refund in a timely manner and that they will provide better customer service going forward so that nobody else will have to go through this.
We bought 4 new tires 200 plus for each tire only around 6 months ago if that! My husband noticed 2 bubbles on both tires on the front of the car so we immediately called our local tire discounters near us to ask what the bubbles are? The guy said we must of hit pot holes on BOTH tires which was not the case. We took it to another place and the guy said it could of been pot holes that were not even noticeable that were hit he also went on to say they are just not making tires like they use to so unfortunately they are going to charge us AGAIN for two more new tires. Not happy at all.
Bought 2 new front tires, quoted at $110 each. After they install the tires, I am told its an extra $17 each just to put them on. Not only that, but watching this clown install the tires, slamming the center caps out of the wheel with a long metal bar and launching those caps half way across the garage. Piss poor service. OH, almost forgot, now after the new tires were put on, my low tire pressure light stays on. Cant say Im surprised. Just bought a set of 20 rims and tires for my 4 wheel drive truck and now the truck shakes really bad as soon as I hit 45mph. This place lost a good customer yesterday.
Made a appointment was there at 10am the gentleman checked me in at the Sharonville Ohio location! He went outside to get the size of my tires and tried to start the car, He then came back and said he couldn’t start the van cause the key was wore down. My husband has no issue with the key we asked if he could try again or have someone else move the van and said “Im quite busy” if I can’t start the car I’m not going to work on the car!! No patience whatsoever and rude he didn’t even want to listen or give the key another chance!! Do not recommended!!
Had new tires put on vehicle 1 tire keeps going flat never had any issues with leaky tires before this but now all sudden its the rim even took rim to have inspected for defects found none td replaced valve stem and said it was fixed the tire is defective and i guess it on me to buy another new set of tires to replace the bad ones will never buy tire discounters again
Will not honor warrantied parts at different locations?
My daughter had a flat on interstate and made it to one the stores on Signal Mountain road in Chattanooga they ripped her a new one charged her 175 for a tire and said they gave her a discount of 20 so it made it 150 and then told me I was a customer that couldn’t be pleased absolutely right I wasn’t pleased because the way overcharged her for a tire never do business with them
Did not adjust my front end alignment correctly and when i called to speak to someone in management 2 months ago i have never heard from anyone...call every few weeks requesting regional managet to call..havent received a call...now i have 2 worn out tires because of a mis aligned front end.....also took daughter to get 2 tires and the manager was VERY RUDE TO HER had to step in before she ripped his head off.
Mike (he said Sharonville) is the worst customer service representative I have ever spoken with. Tire Discounters is a joke.
Regional manager Chris welch is rude and disrespectful, I will never recommend anyone to this store.Tire discounters is doing them selves a huge disservice by keeping this guy.👎👎
I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, I was the second walk in that day n it took 3 hrs to do the service .they pulled the car in and it sat there for an hour before anybody did anything to it the counter guy was very rude wen I asked him about it will never go to the store in vandalia Ohio location again!!!
Your company says to call today and you can handle anything. Well I called today and I know it’s a Sunday, but you should say call anytime except Sunday
Dan Brown and his crew went above the call of duty!!! Sets the example for all others to follow.
Does shoddy work.
