Brought my daughter in for her first piercing today. Kim was absolutely amazing and made sure my daughter was comfortable and knew every step. Her ears look great and she made this such a good experience. She did a thorough job and was very kind and professional. Highly recommend !

SUPER nice staff, professional, warm and welcoming!! I got my septum pierced and some jewelry changed by the apprentice Kim while Dawn watched. Dawn was super sweet and I knew I was in great hands with Kim and Dawn! I couldnt say better or nicer things!! The studio was very very clean, and they had a great selection of super nice quality jewelry. I cannot say enough good things as it was a great experience. Just got my ears pierced here and the guy who did it was super kind and relaxed. I haven’t gotten a piercing before and he took the time to explain to me what he was doing and the healing process. The whole place felt very sanitary and welcoming, ten out of ten would recommend.

Have had 2 tattoos done here by 2 different artists. Both were walk ins. I live a little over an hour away and my experience with the first tattoo was so good I decided to come back for the second one and will return for future ones. Shop is very clean and they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mine were quick and easy and they didnt mess around. I was also very pleased with the pricing. I was unable to get a tattoo because I didn’t have a mask. I called and asked if they were doing walkins which they didn’t let me know I needed to bring a facemask I’ve never had a tattoo I didn’t know that I would still need one and then when I got there they didn’t have any available for me to use and when I asked if they knew where I could get one the lady just said no. So I felt like the service wasn’t the best.

James is an incredibly professional piercer. Very patient, knowledgeable, and calming throughout the process!

So I went here without an appointment and they were able to give me a time slot 45 minutes in advance. We thought we were supposed to wait for a call based on how the girl just asked for a callback number without any explanation, so we were there about 20 minutes late because we finally decided just to walk back over, and James was so nice and took me in. He did two helix piercings very quickly and well. I got very nervous and was crying a little but he was super great about it and he did a perfect job recommending where to get my piercings based on pictures I showed him. Super nice guy and great at piercing! HIGHLY recommend!

I brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Shes 7 and had decided she was ready to have them done. Bodily autonomy is of the upmost importance as a parent when it comes to my children. Skincraft was very accommodating and patient with her. They explained everything and were incredibly professional. They were informative about care instructions. Its been about 6 weeks and her ears are healing up great. Definitely would recommend.

Ive been waiting months for a nostril piercing - due to state COVID restrictions on oral and nostril piercings. As soon as Skincraft posted that the restrictions had been lifted by the Governor and they were accepting appointments for oral/nasal piercings I called the shop and was able to get in for an appointment later that night. The front desk staff was very friendly and was doing a great job monitoring the number of people in the shop and waiting areas, she politely asked me to wait in my car until my piercer was ready for me. Once I was called back, Dawn did a wonderful job keeping me comfortable with friendly conversation while she prepped. She thoroughly cleaned everything prior to the piercing and explained everything she was doing and what I should expect next. She also answered all of my questions about aftercare. She was also wearing a facemask and face shield during the piercing for both of our protection, which made me feel super comfortable. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would definitely reccomend Skincraft to anyone considering a piercing or tattoo, especially if they are wanting a shop who takes COVID precautions seriously. They offer a clean, safe environment and employ professionals who are very knowledgeable and friendly!

Molon Labe was done about 2 years ago and the Spartan Helmet was done on 3-6-17. Jeff Wiest did both. Great guy. Made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in the door. My wife was amazed at the detail. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for some great ink.

Dawn is thee BEST!!! I read reviews and waited specifically for Dawn to be available and I am so glad I did. I got the triple forward helix piercing as well as the flat cartilage piercing. 4 in 1 ear. I was nervous but she explained everything in detail. She took her time and made sure my markings were PERFECTLY marked where I wanted. I brought in a picture of the look I was going for. She helped me pick my jewelry to match the picture exactly. My piercings looked better than the google picture I came in with!!! She even advised me to use a traveling neck pillow to assist with sleeping. My ear fit right in. I had a great nights sleep. Thank you so much Dawn & Skincraft! They are very clean & sterile!

Dawn did a great job handling me and my husbands nervous nonsense through the whole deal and made sure I knew what I was getting myself into in terms of maintenance and what to expect from the healing process. Got my nose piercing done here 3 months ago. Told them I had a sensitivity to nickel and some of my family members are highly allergic to nickel, but they said I would be fine with a surgical-grade, stainless steel nose ring. I had a bump on my nose for almost three months after the piercing, despite using witch hazel and warm salt water at least twice a day. They told me that I got the bump because of my makeup, not my nickel sensitivity. I stopped in twice to ask if I should change to a stud, but was told no, and to continue with the salt water. After three months of having this bump on my nose I got tired and paid more to have them change it from the hoop to a stud, even though they told me to keep waiting it out with the salt water. After changing to a stud, the bump was completely gone by the end of the week. But when I stopped in to see if I could get the stud shortened since the length was bothering me, I was told Id have to pay more again. I wasnt told that they were giving me a longer stud when I got it, and wasnt told that Id have to pay more later for it to be shorter, I thought it was adjustable. Im new to having a nose piercing and they didnt explain to me how to take the stud out when I first got it, or what kind it was. I wish I would have gotten my piercing done someplace else where they would have taken my nickel sensitivity more seriously, told me exactly what was in their jewelry and why kind of jewelry they were giving me.

Skincraft is the best in the city when it comes to piercings. I live in New Orleans now and still only trust their piercers with my body. Theyve corrected piercings that I had done at other shops and every experience Ive had there has been warm and enjoyable. Shout out to Kim and Dawn for blessing me with my new navel piercing. I love this shop! James did my nose piercing and was very clean and careful. I just got a stud but he measured for a hoop in case I want one in the future. Kim was great also. She showed me the studs and retainers I would need to play sports. Fantastic place!

One of the minority of parlors open on Sunday. Got in for a basic nose piercing an hour after I called. James was my piercer, was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and personable. Made me feel more than comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Will be back for side tattoo once I lose a few more. 🙂

I wanted a tattoo about the size of a silver dollar coin & when showing the lady at the front desk, she kept pushing me to get it bigger. Made me super uncomfortable. Her explanation for why was that it would just turn into a blob as I aged. I have very precise tattoos that still look great so felt like it was just an excuse to charge me more. Was expecting to be charged around $80 for the size and simple design I wanted but they were extremely overpriced and wouldn’t go below $130. Tattoo artist was nice but could tell didn’t really care. After I went home, noticed a lot of uneven lines, shapes were messy and not all the same like I wanted. Very disappointed for such a simple design. Went back for a touch up and artist seemed offended after only explaining one part I wanted fixed so was too scared to ask him to fix the rest. Overall, was a very unpleasant experience and won’t be going back. Debating on going to a different tattoo artist who did my other piece to fix it. This was a meaningful piece I had wanted to get for a long time, and they really butchered it.

Everyone who works there is really nice & helpful. The guy that pierced my daughters nose, Matt, was awesome and talked her threw it made sure she was comfortable and ready and was very cool & polite. I would highly recommend Skincraft and will definitely go back there again soon...Only next time its my turn 🤣🤣🤣

I was in on Jan 23rd to get a birthday tattoo. Lauren was my artist. I told her I wanted the Star from Mario, and when I came in she had the cutest tattoo drawn up with the Mario star, mushroom and shell. Her line was/is was amazing as well as her use of color. I would DEFINITELY recommend asking for Lauren. SHE IS AMAZING! I can not wait to go back and have her do my next tat!

Staff is friendly and welcoming, the place is clean, lobby is decent size with a drink vending machine, a lot of very pretty (& hand made) jewellery sold here. My brother got four words tattooed on the inside of him upper arm. It turned out well but (in my opinion) it took a lot longer than I thought it should have. Not a big deal though. Thanks for giving him a nice experience!

This is the first time Ive ever been here and today was the day I got my first tattoo. The staff is amazing, their personalities made me so much less nervous. I got my tattoo done by Zach. Hes funny and does an amazing job. He finished the tattoo super fast, but it still turned out great. I really recommend going here, and if youre getting a tattoo, I recommend Zach for tattoos. Im definitely gonna come back soon!!!!
