We could not have better service from John Strietman and everyone at Sea Ray in purchasing a boat. Even after the purchase he made sure we were satisfied with every part of the transaction.

We just took delivery of our first boat - a new to us Sea Ray Sundancer 280. As first time buyers, I cant say enough about how helpful everyone at Sea Ray Cincinnati has been through this process.John Strietmann was our salesperson and he helped us every step of the way. He wasnt there to sell us anything - he helped us find the type of boat we were looking for, coordinated the boat survey & sea trial, coordinated agreed upon repairs after the survey, as well as delivery with a 2nd sea trial. Most of all, John was very patient answering the dozens (100s?) of questions from first time buyers. Always responsive to my texts or phone calls. The Service Manager Tracy was great to work with and the Finance Manager Dave was very helpful. If you are thinking of keeping your boat on the Ohio River, Sea Ray is right next door to two marinas so you can get help at any time.Overall - great dealership, great experience, and most of all great people.

Just bought a boat from Sea Ray of Cincinnati.Great experience and excellent customer service. Gary Daniels had a tremendous wealth of boat knowledge and gave us a great demo of our boat on the water. Not to mention a good deal. I would highly recommend this company and Gary as your salesperson - if you are on the market for a boat.

Sea Ray of Cincinnati. We put an offer on a boat (no other offers at this point) and was promised we could negotiate if it was not accepted. We were then notified 2 days later (from the finance manager not our salesman, Josh) that our offer was NOT accepted because another offer that was for more money than we offered was accepted. No negotiation was allowed as promised. The salesman, Josh, promised to make it right, yet won’t return our calls. I feel like we were back-doored. We were told at offer time that there were NO other offers on the table. So why did we not have a chance to negotiate as promised?!? I guess MONEY talks.

Took boat there to be repaired. Told them exact problem,in which they had advised us about in 2018, that was happening now. Instead of repairing issue, they took it upon themselves to reinspect the issue, that they already told us about in 2018, and charged 2 hours @ $135/hr. to tell about the same issue from 2018. We already knew that was the problem. Bad customer service. Will not be back.

Absolutely the friendliest most professional staff you will ever work with. I ordered a new Heritage trailer for my Chaparral boat through Dave Pearson. His knowledge is over the top to ensure I had the exact fit and weight rating to safely transport our boat. Daves promised delivery date and moving our boat to the new trailer was perfect. I asked the service team if they could install a new sea water pump and fuel sending unit on our boat during the trailer transaction. They promised to have all the work completed within a day or two, awesome team work completed on time as promised. I have owned Chaparrals for 20 years but I will certainly look at Sea Ray in the future. Their dealership is the BEST!!. Thank you Sea Ray of Cincinnati Team..

We are first time boat owners, and we knew going in that when we bought this boat off of a private owner we would have to do repairs. We took the boat to Sea Ray of Cincinnati and the service department there went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Yes we paid for it, but now days it is hard to receive personal care and attention when dealing with organizations. From the greeter at the door all the way through the sales, service counter to the mechanics they are hands on and a great team. I thoroughly enjoy walking into an organization and knowing Im being treated like family. Im glad we choose Sea Ray of Cincinnati to hold our hands through this process.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. No money games like at other dealerships. Jim walked us through everything from checking the engine oil to driving the boat. Ive owned a lot of boats and working with Jim Wallace at Sea Ray of Cincinnati made it worth the 2 hour drive to buy our new 350 Sundancer. Thank You Jim

Buyer Beware! We bought a brokered boat from Sea Ray of Cincinnati. In the process of buying the boat, I noticed the boats lower unit had a lot of corrosion. I asked the salesman about it and he said that most of the time that is just cosmetic and all I would have to do is paint and run it. I also asked about the bellows and their condition and was told they look good. Finally, I asked about whether Sea Ray would check the boat out to make sure there were no major problems with it. I was told that they would look it over before we bought it. Fast forward to today! The boats entire lower unit needs to be replaced as it is leaking gear oil and has gear teeth missing. The bellows were full of water and need to be replaced as well. The total so far to fix the boat is $7000 and most likely will go higher. I spoke to Sea Rays service department and they confirmed that they never looked at the lower unit. I also spoke with a manager of the place and he basically said that I get what I get in terms of condition, which is true. If this was a boat being sold by an individual, I would never have bought it, but had more of a comfort level with this purchase because of what was said to me. This was my mistake. I will acknowledge that Sea Ray of Cincinnati offered a 15% discount on parts to fix it which would have saved me $500-$600 (something they didnt have to do, but in the spirit of good will they would) but I was still on the hook for the difference. I write this review to warn future buyers of the pitfalls of buying a brokered boat from Sea Ray of Cincinnati or from any dealership for that matter. It is very obvious that their interest is not customer satisfaction, but acting as a middle man who takes their cut. I will never buy a brokered boat again without having my mechanic inspect it. Please heed my advice!

We bought a boat here a couple months ago and have had issues ever since. It appears like the salesman just made up facts to make the sale which is always beyond me as they will never have our repeat or service business ever again. We have always owned a jet boat so the inboard/outboard boat was new to us. Very little explanation of things we later found out the hard way. We were told their service department did a thorough inspection of the boat but within a handful of times using it we had alarms going off and had to pay around $200 for basic fluids to be topped off that were obviously never looked at upon inspection at Sea Ray. When asked how much to winterize with oil and filter change the salesman told us $150. I called today and they said $189 just for the motor and if we wanted an oil/filter change it would be $400. When my husband spoke with someone about all of our frustrations he was defensive and told him he was being unreasonable (Pretty sure I would never speak to a customer like that). If theres one thing I cant hadle, its dishonesty. Bottom line, if youre wanting an honest, fair company to work with, this isnt it. Wish we never wouldve purchased from Sea Ray Cincinnati.

We brokered our SeaRay 310 Sundancer cruiser through SeaRay of Cincinnati. We picked one of the worst times to try to sell our boat, at the end of boating season. We contacted Gary Daniels, who we had spoken with earlier in the season, and signed the contract. They worked with us on a price for the year and size of our boat. They posted our boat on their website and several others, they also made calls to some people who they had been working with who were looking for a boat. We had two serious potential buyers, one was a customer of Gary’s and the other was a customer of one of his colleagues. One of those two ended up being the buyer of our boat. Gary worked with us very closely to try to ensure our boat was in as sellable condition as possible, he stayed in regular contact with us to keep us up to date on any potential sale activity of our boat. He also worked closely with his colleague to make sure he had all of the needed information regarding our boat to close the deal at a reasonable price, considering the time of year. If you have a boat to sell, the guys at SeaRay of Cincinnati work very hard to set the right price, find the right buyer, and complete the sale.

I recently purchased a 2016 4.5 L 200 hp Bayliner VR5. The staff is very helpful and friendly especially Dave Pearson and John in sales. Without Daves help I dont think this purchase would have been possible. Dave is a fine asset to the entire organization... Thanks Dave !!!. Prior to picking up the boat I dropped off a fishfinder GPS unit, they mounted it, did a beautiful job...I do recommend this marina. However.... The Bayliner VR5 I purchased... Im not real pleased with.. It doesnt perform very well and its made rather cheaply . The cushion that covers the back cooler, the straps ripped off the the seat immediately, they are cheaply stapled on. The front seat that moves every which way fell apart, and I never have seen the speedometer work, good thing theres one on the Garmin. The factory installed Bayliner depth gauge came with no paperwork and does a lot of beeping, still working on trying to get some paperwork.I realize Bayliner is an entry level boat, and I love the way this boat is laid out theres lots of room, lots of storage, two areas to lounge, its a beautiful boat inside and out. My only issue is the poor performance. I wish I could have afforded a Sea Ray, Moomba or Supra... But... I couldve gotten a hell of a nice used boat for the price of this boat.... These things are all cosmetic except for the under powering and when fuel goes back to six dollars per gallon on the water... maybe Ill be a little happier
