Gertz Pony Keg has been a staple of Reading from at least the 70s that I know of - Ive been going there since I was a kid. Bob Gertz is a great friendly guy and so is his family that works there.

Best owner/operator on earth. Ive been to Gertz Pony Keg since I was 7 years old. Never found or had a reason to say anything bad about the place. ALWAYS great, fast, Friendly service. The place should be a Reading landmark.

I guess......In reality this is the place you come to all your life when you grow up in a small town, they know you when you come in the door, they know your mom and ask about her when you are checking out.
