Horrible experience. Ordered items in June. Arrived end of October and it came like this. They then stated they were sorry for them shipping a completely destroyed item. No item to replace due to not having enough stock in the first place. Horrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend. Go to crate and barrel, arhaus or restoration hardware. They sell garbage
I had a great experience! Ellen made recommendations for living room furniture and more and everything came together beautifully. Some of the furniture took a while to arrive but everything came during the window that was promised. Ellen was patient and even ordered some swatches without me asking to show me how wood/fabric/leather would look together. I love everything so far.
Went in looking for seasonal decor. They had remodeled since my last visit. Beautiful store just very little in my opinion of seasonal decor. Maybe just a sign of the times with covid.
I am normally not one to write reviews, but I feel this one is needed. I went into the “pop up last sale” PB store in the Kenwood Mall. The employee was helping a couple leaving, then we were the only ones in the store. She ignored us and didn’t speak at all. Another customer walked in and she promptly asked the lady if there was anything she needed help with finding. I do appear younger than I am; however, I do make a living and probably would have bought a new price of furniture if I was treated differently. I was highly disappointed.
Like too look around but dont know if what they sell is really worth the price they have on their merchandise.
Purchased a York Deep Sofa after working with a saleswoman at the Kenwood store. I explained that I had cats and a young daughter so she helped me select a fabric upgrade she said would work well. I have had the sofa about a year and it is a disaster. It stains easily, attracts hair (pet and human), and has small holes/tears all over it from my cats. I had a fantastic sofa from Macy’s (Bauhaus) that required zero maintenance and looked better at 15 years than this does at 1. I will say it is comfortable, but it is a total eyesore - the fabric is awful. I reached out to customer service and heard nothing. Oh, and the legs arrived damaged. Don’t waste your money!
Poor attitude by employees. Two ladies working were condescending and rude to me and another customer. The other customer said “thank you so much!” And the employee replied “mmhmm”. How about you’re welcome or thank you? I had just left restoration hardware and the difference in attitude and customer service was evident. We’re in the market for a new couch and clearly our decision was made. It’s Christmas. During a pandemic. You work retail. At a mall. You are not doing me a favor, you’re doing your job. And not a very good job at that. Be better. Do better. Treat customers how you want to be treated. Be kind.
The purchase experience for a chair was great. However, I was told to pick the chair up the next day by pulling up the outside door and told that someone would help me load the chair. However, when I picked the chair up by myself (I elected not to ask my husband to come along since I was told that I would have help loading the chair in my car), the pottery barn employee just dumped the chair off next to my car. I told her that I was told that I would have help loading the chair in my car and she said she was not allowed to help. She stood there while I struggled for ten minutes by myself to get this heavy chair in my car.
If you want to spend your hard earned money on overpriced garbage, expertly paired with the worst customer service in all of retail, who talks down to you pretentiously, this ”store” is your haven! We purchased a $5,000 sofa that one month later is falling apart. Contacted their customer service department who told me to email someone else. I received an e-mail back to send photos of the sofa, which I did within 15 minutes of receiving the email, and then received an email confirming that the photos were received and someone would contact me. Heard nothing for five days. Went into the store for a second time, who told me to wait 3 more days to receive a response. Still nothing as of today August 10th with the email being sent on July 14th. Unsurprisingly, the sofa is now coming apart at the seams. Stay tuned for next month when I still don’t hear from them and a new issue arises. Visited this location again today for the THIRD time dealing with this issue and was told that I needed to call yet another person, even though the email clearly stated they would contact me (see photos below), and now was given the wrong number. After researching myself, I found the correct number, and have been on hold for two hours now. Do not waste your time at this place with so many other furniture stores of actual quality and great customer service, not one that makes you feel like a burden.
Beware if your are buying furniture that needs to be shipped. I ordered a dresser in September with a promised ship window that ended September 25. It’s December and the company still cannot tell me when the dresser would ship, although they had no issue taking my money. If you search their Twitter account you’ll see many similar stories. I finally gave up and asked for a refund. Save yourself the hassle and go to another furniture store with honest shipping forecasts!

I ordered 1 Harry Potter towel of of the Pottery Barn Teen website. I accidentally ordered 4 after that. I called to try to cancel the order within half an hour. Customer service wouldnt let me cancel my order. I understand that they were experiencing high call volumes but that should not impact my ability to cancel my order... especially when the item cannot be returned. A $34 gift turned into a $200 gift.

My husband ordered a vanity and realized it wouldn’t ship until January, called customer service same day to cancel the order and they said they couldn’t because it had already been sent to fulfillment. Spoke with Michael.** UPDATE ON MY REVIEW - Pottery Barn STILL has NOT delivered the sink & has continued to push back the Estimated Delivery Date. I was told in later customer service phone calls that my order was back ordered - this information was not provided on the web site when the order was placed. It is March 8th & my estimated delivery is March 8th, but the status of my order is still Fulfilled.

I won’t ever purchase anything substantial from PB again, especially if it has to be shipped. Just don’t order anything online from them. I finally received a shelf I ordered Sept 2 (received it Oct 21) and there were 2 rusted nails in the styrofoam surrounding the shelf. Luckily nothing got scratched, but????? I also ordered a couch on Aug 13. Got an email that it would be here Oct 18.... it’s now the 23rd. Not a huge deal, just annoying since I had already removed my old couch before the original delivery date. The most recent incident - I went to the store to purchase curtain rods and they sold me 2 of the wrong sets and ordered 3 of the correct ones. We of course didn’t realize they were the wrong ones until they had been installed (9 massive holes in our plaster walls later...). I returned them to the store and ordered the 2 replacements that now won’t be here till Nov18. How a company this big can have such horrible customer service and shipping quality is beyond me.

Stylish but relaxed accessories, furniture, bedding and design services which I plan to use in the near future. I love going into the store to look at their beautiful displays of products. The staff asks if you need help but doesn’t follow you around. A very pleasant place to go.
I love just walking through this place. They always have nice friendly people working there and have such cool stuff. A little pricey but I shop for the sales and am never disappointed.
Its a lovely store to visit and ponder ideas and then your read the stickers and wonder if the value of what they offer is worth the look? I do like their stuff but I find myself not liking the quality when checking out what ever they were offering.

This is no longer Pottery Barn, they havent been at this location in many years. This is now Crossroads Church. Crossroads has a good reputation for offering different types of services to be able to reach different kinds of needs.
I think they are pretentious and over priced. I see for foreign children and women in sweat shops.

Worst customer service ever, returned a defective lamp and exchanged for new one. Asked for the item to be opened and examined, was given a huff and puff attitude followed by dropping new parts, so she just replaced with the other boxes none defective parts. Then just throw the remaining items back in the box.Will never shop here again. Its just overpriced Chinese goods anyways.You tell me Pottery Barn ? Walking down to Crate & Barrel deuces.
Purchased a very expensive couch, paid for shippinng and paid for white glove delivery service. Couch arrived two months later, damaged and the movers knocked a hole in my wall and damaged the molding on my door. I expected higher quality service for what I was paying for.Customer service offered to file a claim for the damage on my home and a credit for the damage to the couch. Two weeks later, silence. Ive heard nothing regarding to two issues.Also, everything I want to buy seems like its on backorder and takes months to receive. They dont stock the store with easy to pick up items. Youre forced to order online, pay $$ for shipping and still receive it weeks/months later.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I placed an order on 9/19.The email I received said the order would ship on 9/20. I called on 9/27 and it had just shipped that day that is 7 days after the order said. Not only do they take out your money but they place it back into your account and dont take the money out until the order ships! so it makes it seem as they take it out twice. When i called to talk to someone there were no supervisors to talk to about why this took so long so i got a 25 gift card. wow thanks now that my birthday gift wont get here untill way after the day.
