I took my Chevrolet Silverado to Aamco 2 years ago to get a transmission and they did a great job. A month ago I was driving and my vehicle stopped and all the transmission fluid came out. I had my car towed to Aamco and they assured me the part was under warranty and it would be replaced and repaired at no cost to me... it took awhile but when I finally picked up my vehicle I got stranded on Montana Ave in the middle of the street! I got my car towed back to Aamco and got a rental. They had my car for over a week and told me to come get it and it was all repaired! Today was the 1st day I drove my truck to take my daughter to school on her 1st day back and she was late! We got stranded in Forest Park! My truck is driving worse than it did before I took it in! Bill paid for the tow and says he will pay for my rental but I am completely frustrated and tired of being stranded. Im so sad and frustrated! And dont have any clue why they cant fix my truck!

My sister took her Silverado to get her transmission serviced here and after a few months it went out she took it back they supposedly put a new transmission in the car after it was driving worse than it did when she took it in the 1st time. Now fast forward a week after they supposedly added this new transmission the car stopped on a hill and all the transmission fluid came out of the car!! Im not all happy with their services.

Months ago, I gave a low rating to this shop because I asked for a quote and I found the service I needed for my husbands truck expensive and few options for financing. But recently I sent the truck for replacing its rear differential (it was all broken). The result? I had to change the rating to all stars and edit the review - from bad to good!Friendly and polite staff (and very busy too!), they gave my truck a very good service and perfectly working parts. When we had a major problem with other parts that we discovered last minute they need replacement, they helped us find new ones, and we finally have our beloved vehicle back in service! My car was sitting for 9 months because I was certain that I needed a transmission, I finally had it towed to AAMCO on Reading Rd. for a free diagnostics test Thursday. Later that day I got a call saying it was a broken hose and not my transmission. The fix was easy, the price was awesome and the customer service was fantastic. Now I just need a paint job and get my car detailed, thanks AAMCO for your great service and honesty ❤️

So far this has been an amazing experience with this company. I called around to multiple transmission shops and auto mechanics who could not give me any type of help other than saying they needed to do a breakdown before they would diagnose the issue. I had already had it diagnosed and did not need to spend $800 to find out what I already knew.Aksel was able to give me a straightforward quote and did not play games which was refreshing after the few days of being run around by others.I highly recommend calling them.. maybe last so you truely know the difference in customer service you will receive at this Aamco!I am confident the repairs will be done right and on time.

They were able to look at my car right away (all dealers were 3 weeks to even diagnose the problem) They diagnosed the problem, fixed it the same day, tested and kept in close contact with me. I had the most out standing experience at AAMCO transmission shop the owner took a test drive told me rite away what the problem was,he was right I only had to pay $20 dollars for the problem quick nice,most of the time fast,good place to take your car.

I went here over 8 months ago when my checl engine light was on and was told by AAMCO transmission IT WAS A BAD TRANSMISSION IN MY CAR was bad and only a matter if time before it goes out and needs to be replaced and i got a second opinion from another transmission business they told me nothing was wrong i just needed a transmission flush and i did no repair eork and my car drives perfectly normalBad diagnostics or trying to get my money or both from this AAMCO tranmission place terrible
