If we could give more than five stars we would! We drove over five hours from Michigan to purchase a Jetta my husband found online. We worked with Mike, who was amazing and made the process super easy. He even showed up on his day off to finish the sale because that was the only day that worked for us to travel there. The sales manager was great to work with and made the process quick and easy. I bought a car from Joseph Volkswagen in 2017 because my father bought a car from them and had a good experience. Unfortunately my experience hasnt been as good. While my experience since buying the car has been mixed I havent had a situation that was bad enough to write a review until now. I had a battery that wasnt work and they said they couldnt fit me in until 2 and a half weeks which would be a very difficult amount of time to be without a car. Maybe theyre busy, but I would hope that they would make something work for cars that arent starting. Luckily I was able to get my car fixed at a different shop same day.
Have purchased two Jettas from Joseph VW of Cincinnati. Martin is an excellent salesperson and was pleasant and easy to work with. Highly recommend this dealership.
Bought a car from Martin about a month ago. Within a week, the check engine light came on and after getting a diagnostics test it said I needed a new intake manifold. I took it back to the shop, and luckily Martin was there to cover me and made sure I had gotten it done without charge since I had just bought the car. I definitely recommend getting your car from here! They make sure you don’t drive off with problems. And no I did not have a warranty on mine and they still covered it.
I would not recommend this service department. Terrible communication and prices. I had my car (which I originally purchased at this dealership) serviced about a month ago. I dropped it off around noon and they said it would be done that day. I brought my bike with so I could ride home and not have to wait around as they did not offer a loaner or ride service to me. After not hearing from them all afternoon, I decided to call around 5pm. They said it would not be ready until the next day as they had three mechanics out. I’m not sure how they didn’t know that when I dropped it off and why they didn’t call me to let me know. Any communication at all would have been much appreciated. Beyond that, they were still not able to offer a loaner car or ride service. The 10% discount they gave me for the inconvenience didn’t even cover my uber rides to and from work the next day. When I picked up the car after hours, they had not washed it and the check tire light that I asked them to investigate was still on. I also ordered a spare key for $150. Just went in to pick it up and get it programmed…they charged another $130 for the programming. Not once was I told about that cost. Who is going to order a key and not need it programmed! When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they didn’t not reciprocate any understanding or even an apology, just excuses. I will not be coming back. I do not trust them.
The BEST Service Center ever! Let me start by mentioning, I did not buy my car from Joseph Volkswagen and its not the closest Volkswagen dealership to my home, but I would and will travel back to this location again and again, as they have Customer Service down to a science. This is my second experience with Joseph Volkswagen and both, yep, both experiences were the same, AMAZING! So what makes them so awesome? How about the extremely kind and knowledgeable Service Consultants, to be specific Jerry N. He not only kept me informed while I waited, he also engaged me when the repair technicians had questions. Jerry was patient and explained all the completed work including the diagnostics performed. Oh and get this, they stuck to the timeline promised, gee what a concept, NOT! My appointment was for an oil change and tire rotation, however by the time I reached the dealership, a few new minor concerns also needed to be looked into and they took care of everything, within the 1-hour timeline, MIC DROP! Even as I was cashing out my bill and found myself with one more question, Reggie (service consultant) had no problems with answering my question. I want to personally thank all the individuals who took care of me and my car. It is such a pleasure working with a dealership that understands how to engage and take care of customers. Rest drove a vehicle and returned to the lot after and I sat in the veh with the AC on (15min), then left keys in veh and sat in my truck for another 10 min (25min now), salesman never came bk out and I didnt walk into the office. I left. May have bought as it was the exact veh Id been looking at. Disappointed. Never got a follow up phone call either. They had it as I filled it out to test drive.

I would not recommend this service department. I needed my tire plugged and the service department broke my valve stem. When I got my Toureg back, the tire pressure sensor wouldnt read the tire pressure on that same tire. They gave me every excuse in the book why it wasnt their fault. (Including low battery of other three sensors even though they read fine) They made me pay over $200 to replace tire valve stem and sensor (because they are attached) even though that department broke it. I would never return. Staff is not knowledgeable either.The owner has corrected the situation.
Was easy enough to make a service appointment, but the staff doesn’t seem to have the time to keep the service waiting area clean, as there was used coffee cups in multiple places, and trash in the waiting area. There was also multiple employee’s not wearing their masks, which is a business mandate in Cincinnati. I believe wearing a mask below the nose doesn’t even count, as you’re just breathing right out your nose into the air... if someone needs their car serviced in order to do their essential grocery shopping, do they have to risk getting COVID-19 in order to do so? It’s a professionalism and respectful thing to do, to sanitize door handles, pens, and constantly maintain proper mask wearing, to protect other people, including when you’re on the phone or in the employee work areas...

My 14 Passat TDIs check engine light came on while driving on a Friday; I set up an appointment online same night (very easy) and they were able to fit me in on the following Monday. Jerry, my service advisor, was great to deal with and my car was diagnosed and repaired under warranty in less than 3 hours. Smoothest dealer service experience to date. Needed AdBlue in a hurry as I was going out of town, unfortunately the parts department was closed, but Bill helped me out big time by finding me some when they easily could have told me I was out of luck! When I am looking to trade in the spring, I will definitely be stopping by solely based on the customer service I received today.

There were multiple employees walking around the dealership not wearing masks.I recently returned my leased vehicle that I had replaced two wheels at an approved shop and upon return of my vehicle I was charged $400 since the other two tires didn’t match. I didn’t even pay that much to get the two new tires.When I initially leased my vehicle it was a full day affair seriously took like 8 hours. This was very annoying to me considering I just bought a new car and it took about 2 hours at Joe Morgan Honda.I would not recommend Joseph Volkswagen.
Id been looking for a Mini Cooper for awhile and finally found the one I wanted here at VW. It was great because I didnt have to go to the dealer to buy the car, I was able to purchase it online and then I could have had it delivered but I had my husband drive me to pick it up. I got a great deal! Everyone was super responsive and friendly from my first email to the final signature on what little bit if paperwork I had to sign when I arrived for pickup. Even their website was friendly and easy to use Im very happy with the services and the car, definitely a Time saver buying a car here because I hate waiting around at car dealers and I did not have to do that here. Nice dealership, very low pressure shes environment. Its a nice change from a lot of other dealership. The only downside is that if you want to move on something, it may take a while. They asked me to come back instead of getting a car it that was blocked by another vehicle or two. Had I bought a Volkswagen, Id have bought from them. They were also the best price in Cincinnati.

Steer away from this dealership. I was with my son, who was going to buy a brand new Tiguan, and dealing with Mike G. I had spoke with him 2 days before about coming down and working a deal on the car, but when I called him he had no idea who I was and had to reexplain everything. They brought the vehicle around but to our surprise it was the wrong car, we had even gave them the lot # to get the correct car. After a test drive and the correct car brought around we sat down to talk numbers. After he walked away for 20 minutes then came back we couldnt reach a deal. The sales manager came over but unfortunately for him the frustration from a 3 hour drive to their dealership and the unorganized sales staff had already set in. He worked with the numbers we had to offer for the new vehicle but was unable to reach our trade value. We have been in several dealerships during our lifetime and this dealership needs organization management classes. Very dissatisfied with the dealings STAY CLEAR!

Bought my first car here and Rob was extremely helpful. One of the biggest decisions Ive ever made felt super easy and I felt comfortable buying my car. The entire crew was super friendly.
Had an issue for 2 years with a wheel/tire on again and off again. Bought 2 “new” tires over the years too for the issue. Finally took it elsewhere and they fixed it in less than 20 min. Service was nice, but feel like I wasted over $800 in service and tires charges over the time that was a simple fix of cleaning the rim and putting brand new rubber on.

I called into the sales department hoping they would be more helpful than the service department (I already had a bad experience at another dealer) to have my brand new car. I was put on a 20 minute hold and then forgotten about. When I called back into the service department they informed me they could not get me in for 2 weeks. I bought a brand new car so I wouldnt have to do this. Terrible customer service.
Rob helped us get a used e-golf when the dealership was sold out of the trim we wanted. So appreciative that the dealership went above and beyond to find us what we were looking for.

This dealership should be the poster dealer for the car buying experience! Like a previous review, I had to find, and negotiate a replacement vehicle for a relative. I found a vehicle on the Joseph website and sought additional information via email. I received an immediate response from Suzanne Cullen (on the weekend) with answers to all of my questions. Suzanne and I pretty much closed the deal via email exchanges, subject to my inspection of the vehicle.I went to Joseph the following Monday. Suzanne introduced me to Aaron Pardue, Sales Consultant. Absolutely no pressure, no unreasonable delays and no hassle dealing. We concluded the vehicle inspection, test drive and final pricing within 45 minutes. Done deal, thanks to the combined efforts of Suzanne, Aaron and Mike McFarland (Sales Manager).

I went to Joseph to purchase a 2018 Passat. I asked Bill Cullen about Bob Bailey and I was told that he was off today. I told him about the relationship that I have with Bob and his wife (Kathy) and if I was mistreated that I would contact Bobs wife. Later on during a conversation with my salesperson he advised that he would see Bob at the Christmas party that evening. Shortly thereafter I took my car back into the facility at 8:00 a.m. because I was hearing this roaring sound and the car felt like it was not get any power. at 3:30 p.m. I received a call from a Mike and he told me that my car was ready and that they found nothing wrong with it. I asked why did it took so long to tell me nothing was wrong with my car when I brought it in at 8:00 a.m. Mike started yelling at me and I told him you are not going to yell at me and hung the phone up. I went to get my car and the young ladies were unable to locate my paperwork. Mike came out and said oh you dont like me, I looked at him and asked if my paperwork was ready. I went to locate Bob to tell him about it, again, I was told he was not there. The salesperson was available and told me I was getting ready to call you your license tags are here. I explained what happened to me and how rude I was treated. The Salesperson told me that he would make sure that Bill was told about the situation. Come to find out today, that Bob Bailey has not been with Volkswagen since August 2018. The staff especially Brian and the Service Manager has always been extremely nice to me over 9 years then they hire Mike and Im treated rudely it was borderline racist. I dont appreciate being lied to about Bob Bailey being off and he was no longer employed there. My car is still making those sounds and my job requires me to have a car and I cannot be without a car while they work on it, since they do not give loaners.
