Cars are useless place is DANGEROUS wants to charge entry like the a decent scrapyard charges you a fee to move cars around only to find out theyve already carelessly destroyed anything useful.dont waste your time.

Their person was very kind d, respectful, and helpful in general. Did not talk down to me as if I am dumb because I a female like alot of car places have before. I was very happy to see a kind respectful person willing to help me out.

Priced right, you have to pull items yourself. 2.00$ entrance fee. For your own well being have the part you need ( photo ) so you get the correct part.

Terrible business!!! Dont keep track of whats on their lot. Called 2 days in a row asking if a certain vehicle was on their lot, both days was told yeah we have that year and model. Drove 1 hr and paid to get in just to look around and guess what. Not one vehicle on the lot i was told they had. Take your time a money else where, TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

Good place to buy parts for older cars if you dont mind pulling the parts off yourself and climbing around in cars that are very closely spaced.

Horrible customer service. They guy who answered the phone hung up on me twice. All I asked was if they had the year, make and model of my vehicle. He told me if I couldn’t come look for myself, then they couldn’t help me. And continued to hang up. I personally will never visit this location

Had visited this lot a couple times and it has never done me wrong yet. The cars may be stacked, but you can pay to have assistance which I dont have an issue with. The selection is good and each time Ive gone, I have always been able to find what I needed. The staff is very friendly and happy to assist as well. When and if I ever need parts for a vehicle, here is where I will go.

Great place HOWEVER do not take any advice from part pullers as theyre not qualified to give advice and not held accountable. Otherwise prices are fair and the guy in charge is very courteous and helpful.

Best prices in town. This is an old-school junk yard. Ive been coming here for a few decades and little here has changed. A lot of the vehicles are in rough shape and packed in tight, but be patient in your search. The parts you need are probably here.

While they did not have what I needed, (seats for my truck) I was able to find a replacement for my broken cup holder and a number of trim pieces.Great folks, honest pricing.

Theyve been in business 40+ years and Ive been a long time customer of Jacks. I used to go with my dad b4 he passed nearly 30 yrs ago. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are fantastic, much better than the other pull your own parts places. I highly recommend them. 4 my money theyre the best in town.

Brain, and the guys there are very helpful and will bend over backwards to help you out. Now dont get me wrong his prices on parts are number one most reasonable in town and if you try to argue with him about it you will be ask to take your business elsewhere, I have been friends with him for years and years my wife and I tried to deliver them some cookies for Christmas but I missed em he all ready closed for the holidays and took that paradise vacation as he does every year. I was a scrapping a beloved old car that had hit the end of the road.Ive worked with scrap yards before and generally find that they tend to be staffed by gruff, hard nosed types...Was very pleasenty surprised by how personable, friendly, and helpful everyone at Jacks was. I called ahead and they were great making sure I had everything needed to sell the car. When I got there they had me in and out, fair price in hand, in no time at all.They made a hard morning of giving up an old friend a lot easier.

Called and asked if they had a specific vehicle and I was told there were plenty. So make the 45min drive, pay the 2 dollars to get in, and walked around this scrapyard for half an hour. Not one car I was looking for was around.( I was told they had plenty that morning) plus cars are stacked and so close together you can’t even get parts off of them. If you like paying 2 dollars to walk around a scrapyard have fun! I’ll personally be going to pull and pay

This guy knows his stuff, had just what I needed and the service was great.

This place is a scam the are con artist do not go here! They will give you a good price on the phone but will hit you with tons of hidden fees so expect to pay twice as much. And even if they dont have your part, but they will tell you on the phone they do you must pay $2 just to walk in! The fact that they only take cash tells me that they dont report what they make can you say tax fraud?

First time working with these guys and i can say A+, not your typical salvage yard and way the cars are stacked is not only scary but incredibly difficult to remove some parts. i went for the front camber bolts for a jeep and did not have any issues was in and out in 20 minutes and the guy wouldnt accept my money. now i am not giving them 5 stars because i got something for free and i cant say you will have the same experience but i felt as if i was family and for that i give 5 stars. this is my new salvage yard and will always show my support! Been going there since I was 16 same guy great guy to me at least, Ive heard other things. but my experience there has been fantastic. I go there sometimes just to walk around and look at cars I havent seen on roads in years. I will always go to jacks and get my parts. And best prices in town.... period lol

I been there twice. Got the parts I wanted both times. So,They are all right by me.

Horrible service, if you dont agree to pay the double repair cost, then they will shut the door in front your face and leave before the time they should close for the day. They dont communicate with their customers, they help reach others to charge more specifically if they suspect you are single and you are female, dont go there, they are bad.

Hell quote you a part over the phone. You make sure you have the tools to remove the part safely. After removal you take the part to the office and you pay them. Jack is there to sell parts, not to make you feel good about yourself. Lots of parts and Excellent for the self motivated, independent individual who has a modicum of mechanical ability.

Rude employee s and all the cars was stripped already other then that the parts were cheap they shouldnt pile the cars on top each other hard to get parts off that way

Took the ol lady for a junkyard date. (its what she loves) Not only did they have the parts I needed, but Jacks gave her a great deal on 3 car emblems and even threw in the remaining seat covers,(from our last date) and steering wheel cover for free! If you are looking for auto parts a great place to find hard to find parts. Reasonable prices. I have priced auto parts at other businesses. In my opinion the competion cant beat them.

Jacks has been around for a long, long time! They have tons of stuff an best prices. They might not have best customer service but they are good people. They have seen it all and No one can pull the wool over on them... They are fair but firm! Give em a chance!

They make you pay to get in. They stack their car so close together that you have to pay to get the cars moved and then they make you take the parts off yourself. When you were just told that you are paying for the part to be taken off. Then they only take cash. Also dont bother calling them because they will say that they have anything you ask for. Asked for a very specific tire and was told he was looking right it. Not only was he not looking at it he also told us to search for the tire in the junk yard with no directions.

Had a couple of small pieces of wiring for the cruise control for a 90s f150. Also had 2 little cup holder inserts. The guy at the front desk was extremely angry because he had thought I had ruined a good steering column by taking these pieces off. He said he wanted $50 for it (would be ~$10 anywhere else). In reality the steering column was already partially taken apart and was bad anyway (the bearings were shot). He was extremely rude and I will never be back.EDIT: I was unaware that the policy is NO STEERING COLUMN PARTS as Im sure a lot of people are. Still no reason to be so rude but I am a reasonable guy. Changed my rating. Thanks for the inserts.

You kind of need the buddy system at Jacks - its moderately unsafe, cars stacked 2 and 3 high. You can bribe the loader operators to move cars around to get to what you need to. Decent selection of cars, moderate organization, good to great prices. Dude that runs the place can be an ass but hes also can be cool as hell if you are respectful. If youre looking for something common and you dont mind the legwork, youll get better deals here than most yards inside the 275 loop. BRING CASH.

Usually this is the place that has the parts we need and at reasonable prices too. The first visit the dude was kind arudw but ever visit there after he has been more and more friendly.. always enjoy going here when I need parts.

Had a good experience today at jacks. Cane in looking for a cargo mat for the trunk of my car that I couldnt find at any other junkyard in my area. The person in the office was very nice and directed me to the area I needed to be. Got my trunk mat for a great price. Just be nice to the people working there and they will be nice to you.

Jack doesnt have a clue on what he has in his lot whatsoever I cant count how many times Ive been up there and hes looked at me and told me hes got that certain car and then his prices are higher than all the other junkyards around just be aware of Jack junk yard you get what you pay for in there definitely better off going to U Pull and Pay

Pretty much what you would expect from a salvage yard. Pull and pay. The vehicles are stacked and lined pretty tightly so its not always possible to get to the part you need safely unless its right from the front of the vehicle. But most of the vehicles have front end damage...

Love this place as far as getting parts and the prices are reasonable but didnt really understand the new $2 admission fee its new from the last time I was there

My sons and I go here when we need a part for one of our cars and we dont feel that we need the part to be new. The owner sits at the front counter and tells you the price of what you have pulled off of the vehicles. The cars are stacked 3 High and are divided into domestic and import. You find the part you need and bring tools to take the part off. I always make sure that I bring the old part to make sure that the new part Im gettin is correct.

If you have any rare or discontinued parts or tires you need, they got you!! If you dont care bout having brand new parts always or if you in a pickle their awesome!!!

This used to be my favorite place to go for parts when I bought used. I grew up going here. The place stacks vehicles on top of one another. It is dirty and now they charge 2.00 for each person entering the gate. If I am going to pay to enter, it will be somewhere like besslers where it is cleaner and safer

You got paid $2 to get in $5 given to move your car but the prices cant beat the prices for The Used Parts I did give you a very good deal

At Jacks used parts u have to pay 2.00 dollars to go back, get your part u want, no support or help to find the year, model, series your looking for to match the vehicle your looking for, so the part be identical what your looking for, hes rude, disrespectful on the phone, in person, I would never go back there, he said he get someone show me all the Chevy aveos they have for 45 dollars for a hour showing me around looming for Chevy avers 2009, he wasnt sure if they had 2009, sure what years they had but they did have Chevy aveos, he just tell u they have that model get u there, it just be a waste of time. Not sure what years they have.

Ive been going down to jacks for the last 20yrs although hes kicked me out a few times when I was a juvenile for being a bad kid, I still go there to this day and will be tomorrow! Like a pull and pay most parts are priced ok but you have to search for them and take the part off the car yourself they will give you an idea where to look it is a place where it can take time to find what you need

Guy on the phone was very helpful and quoted me a price. They let me remove my tires by lifting the car up for me and still paid quoted price on the phone.

Its an absolutely wonderful place to get parts if you dont need someone holding your hand it is self service they wont go out of their to help you but if you know what you need and are smart enough to get it yourself then this is the place for you there really isnt an exact inventory but its fairly simple to navigate as you walk through the front gate just remember Fords Chryslers and imports are left and gm products are on your right if there is a car that you need lifted just flip the loader driver a fin and he will hook you up and if you are not capable are talented enough to pull you own part bring a buddy or if you have no buddys or friends they can introduce you to one but he wont be free but its still cheaper that paying big shop prices

Drove 2 and a half hours just to get there for something he couldnt walk out into the yard to tell me if he had or didnt have it, they then told me they may have the part pulled today but wasnt sure, I explain I drove from mansfield Ohio for the part and they got it done thats why they have 1 star, part wasnt worth a damn it was a transmission for my nova paid 175 for it which he described as a great transmission another 150 for his guys to pull it and a 25 dollar core charge, dont waste your time here jack will lie to your face and gaurentee you the part is in great shape knowing your a 3 hour drive and arnt a problem, your a liar and a crook jack and your word isnt worth a thing, keep this in mind people please dont make the mistake I made

On the fence about this place, nice cars good verityBut I think a down fall is not being able to bargain for classic cars like other junkyards do just I don’t know it’s a shame that they don’t do it like buy the car for its scrap value plus a lil more, seen a lot of good trucks and cars that can be used as dirt track cars, trail rigs and some how rather then finding them selves at a junkyard that sells cars they end up here, I’m willing to pay money for a body and frame and extra parts, I mean I seen a Chevy geo metro you know how rare those are, as well as station wagons, people destroy them before they can be rescued, as I said before every thing can be bought for the right price

This is the nasty grave yard for cars all windshield are busted out cuz they pick the up with fork lifts,cars stacked on cars,rude owner by the name jack, and only go if u want to buy something that’s broke as well... never was there an enter fee and now is recommending to go to pull and pay so u don’t waste your time or gas

Extremly rude. Wanted 20$ a piece for a basic nissan badge. Then got rude and pissy when we didnt want to pay for it.

Geesh. Just plain bad customer service. I called to ask about the price of a particular size rim. I give him the specs for the rim. what kind of car? So I tell him. We dont have it. So you dont have X size rim? $20 for steel, $40 for aluminum you pull it off. Okay so you do have that size rim? $25 for steel, $45 for aluminum you pull it off. Okay man. Have a good day.

Brian who owns jacks is a very good guy prices are reasonable he has on staff personnel that will remove the car parts for you for a fair price he has older cars that most places would never have cars from the eighties and nineties and he will work with you on anything they do not have an online computer system but he literally knows everything that he has there and can tell if he has the part or not that you are looking for
