OK, in the middle of social distancing, I just bought two new Polaris ATVs from Tri-County Polaris. Many thanks to Bill and Dawn the owners there. I am a complete newbie to this sport. They took the time to educate me and make me feel comfortable about my deal. I could not believe that I walked in at 10:00 AM to buy two machines and took them BOTH home at 3:00. Bill and Dawn took great care of this customer! All the reviews I had read about this team were spot on!! Turns out someone wanted the same atv I wanted and beat me to it. I had no idea this went down because they already went out of their way to secure another one for me. This morning, the bank was dropping the ball getting their stuff in order. Bill stepped in and Im not exaggerating, 15 minutes later the bank called with the closing details. An hour later I was able to pick it up!!! This is my first atv and I highly recommend them. First of all when I bought my atv they waved the shipping cost. Then when my spark plug went bad after owning it for less than 5 months, they fixed the problem the same day free of charge. The owner is honest and reasonable. It’s an indepently owned store, and I doubt I would have had the same treatment at a corporate one.

We had a explorer 400 2001 that he sold us and come to find out the oil pump was clogged and ruined the engine. He actually honored his word we were 32 out of the 30 day warranty he fixed it all. He had to basically put in a new engine at no cost to us. The owner is a one of a kind person. You wont find someone that spends over 1500 to just keep his word not to mention how long that took. This place is probably the only place thatll ever do that. I cant thank the owner enough.

I use them as my FFL an easy $20 and they are way easier to work with then their competition target world down the street. They arent the best at calling you as soon as the gun comes in but they at least will let you pick your gun up if you come in and they have it which is less then I can say for target world who makes you wait for them.

This place is horrible ! I took my atv in for repair and they had it for two weeks so I decided to call for an update. They tell me that they tested it 4 days ago and they THINK it needs rings. I never got a call to ask me how to proceed, I had to call them . I tell them that I dont believe it needs rings because the machine doesnt smoke. This is where the mechanic start getting nasty with me, telling me how he has done this for so many years and when he does a compression test and its so many lbs. low it can only mean one thing .. Piston Rings... Well right here I know hes wrong. It could be valve seats, valve adjustment or rings. But if it’s not smoking, fire is not getting passed the rings into the crank oil causing it to smoke out the exhaust .. But anyways I go with it and ask the cost to repair, he tells me $600 and he can’t guarantee this will fix the issue..So I picked it up and took it to a real shop.. They adjusted the valves and cleaned the carb within 2days ! $360 out the door..If you’re looking to buy a side by side and let the mechanic here bolt on some lights, this is your place. If you’re having a true mechanical problem and need motor or carb work, dont take it to this rip off shop !!
