I dont know how to feel about this place they were nice but I dont believe they actually looked at my bike because I had a few things in certain places on my bike that they would have had to remove to check the part.That they claimed to have checked out.That would have required almost 24 hours set up time before the bike could have been done drying and they supposedly did it in 10 minutes.Ive always tagged parts on my vehicles just to check up on mechanics saying that certain parts need changed and then find out they never even touched that part of the vehicle so this is something Ive been doing for almost 18 years and its now been three times that this has happened. So be careful

A little more expensive than mail-order and slower (5 to 7 days) but I have dealt with them since they opened in mid 70s and always been satisfied with their service. Also purchased battery which was already charged saving me time.

2 years ago I needed spokes for my dirtbike. They ordered 3 sets and they were all wrong. I was told they ordered every possible spoke it could be.Present day I decided to try to get spokes again. This time I ordered them myself online. They were right this time. It makes me second guess the parts department knowledge.Update due to the owner responding I raised my rating. I was thinking I should reflect my overall experience and not just 1 mishap.

Living in Burlington, Kentucky makes visiting your store a somewhat rare occasion. I make the trip because you always have what Im looking for at reasonable prices. I purchased a used Honda Shadow that is still in the family and have returned many times for clothing and accessories. Most recently, I purchased a Vega helmet that quickly became my favorite. Not only does it fit correctly, its pretty quiet for an inexpensive helmet. The modular design allows some choices when not on the highway that I appreciate too. Finally, the white is a perfect match to the Indian I ride now. I dont remember the associate that assisted me but he was well versed with all the products available and was a great help in selecting the helmet.

Buying a bike from this store was quite a headache. The bike had 2 recalls to be done and the horn didnt work, Eliot said that the recalls would be serviced by the time I picked it up but this did not happen. He told me to my face that it had been completed but lied to me for some reason and made quite an effort to hide the fact that the bike had been dropped. They also failed to send me the title to my motorcycle, blaming the mail system and asking me to pay for a new one. Wes called me a few minutes later to tell me it was on his desk and never was mailed to me. I am not sure why employees at Cycle Specialties are incapable of doing their jobs but there is no excuse for any of this. Buyer beware, save yourself the headache and buy a bike from a more reputable dealer.

Called to get information about a motorcycle battery around 1:00pm. Picked it up fully charged and ready to go at 6:00pm same day. Good price and friendly service.

Okay, I ordered 3 parts from Dallas on 08/18/2020 for a Kawasaki motorcycle. I was told that it would be about a week before they came in. My wife called on 08/25/2020 to see if they would be in this week. She was told they would be on time. On 8/27/2020 I called and talked to the parts manager and asked them to track the pieces. I was told that they would be in today, 8/28/2020, I just got off the phone with Dallas saying the parts were on back order.Take their time frames with a grain of salt. I could of ordered online via a internet source and save about 40 bucks but i tried to do the right thing and order from a local shop and got burned. Wont be using them anymore.I understand one off parts are hard to come by sometimes. But flat lying is unacceptable.

I purchased a new motorcycle from Terry at the Harrison ave location and I am so glad I did. Terry was great, kept things real easy and assured me that when you purchase a bike their you can trust that if you need anything from them they will be there to help you in any way they can. Unfortunately about a week after I brought the bike home I found a crack in one of the fairings. I brought it back and spoke with Terry and Even and they were genuinely bummed out for me and said they would take care of me, and after getting approval from the owners they purchased a new fairing at no cost to me. Wow! They didnt have to do that, but they did and I wanted to show my appreciation and say thank you to the owners and staff that helped me. Been using this place for parts and service for 20 years and never had any problems. Thanks for the great customer service!

I love working with Brent getting but he is in need of desperate help so he can get to other customers. Been waiting nearly 2 months for room to open up to get my Razor warranty work looked at. Please hire more help ASAP!!

I recently purchased a passenger seat kit from Cycle Specialties for my Yamaha Bolt, and the people over there really took care of me. I requested they install the seat and foot pegs seeing as I don’t have the tools at home for the job. Over the phone they said their service department could install the seat and pegs but when I arrived the service department said it would take a week for the install since they were so backed up. I was about to leave disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to get it installed when Matt & James came out of the shop and said they would do it for me right then and there. They spent about 45 minutes installing the passenger seat and pegs and did an amazing job!The folks over at Cycle Specialties really deserve credit for running a fine establishment.

I was here to check out a new helmet Very helpful staff. Inspite of having a huge inventory of helmets they didnt anticipate the size of my large head. I apparently wear a size 3X. They had a different one in the Fairfield store. Unfortunately I couldnt get there. When I do, next week, I will see if that works for me. If so, they told me they would order in the one of my choice. Excellent!!

My brother got 2 new tires put on his bike. He got it back with both rims bent about an inch wide on one side. They denied doing it and said it was from impact yet paint is missing an inch wide the same width on the tool they use to jimmy the rubber over the rim. They also said “well it’s a used bike when he bought it from Honda brand new 2 years ago .... they are clowns. The paint missing was smooth he didn’t do it by hitting a curb and they were bent outward yet they just kept saying we don’t know how that happened but it wasn’t us.

The fellows at the parts department, were very helpful searching to reslove my issues. I have a Harley and there prices will usually save you money.

I am not from this area moved here after getting out of the military so to find people who genuinely wanted to help with zero pressure to buy was awesome to find. I first made my way into the store October of 2018 Evan and all the employees were very kind and helpful. I shop here often for bike parts, helmets etc. They have fast and helpful service. With a wide variety of motorcycle apperalle as well as new and used motorcycles for sale. The service experience is not so great. Ive shopped here for years and it seems the employees need a huge moral boost!

Brad was extremely helpful when my buddy and I came in on Saturday. We spent nearly two and half hours in the shop checking out some gear. He never pressured us, never rushed any of our decisions, and was extremely knowledgeable about the products. It was a great shopping experience, and Brad really went out of his way to help us out in any way he could. Both my buddy and I ended up walking away with new helmets and some gloves. Well be back in very soon to pick out some jackets, and whatever else we feel we might need as we dive into the new hobby for us. For two first timers to walk in and have as great of an experience as we did, we really feel like this is now our one-stop shop for all our future needs when it comes to riding. When it came time for checkout I asked about a master link and they didnt have one on hand but were open and honest in telling me that they are very specific by brand so I should really get the right one for my chain which I had on order I just wanted one now ha, it was nice to hear that they were not pushing sales that I didnt or shouldnt do

After not having ridden in over 30 years, I am pretty much a newbe, so I needed a little help on getting a bike. Evan Dixon helped me. This place is excellent. They made me feel at ease and did not blow me off or try to push an inferior bike on me. This is definitely one of the easiest and most pleasant purchases that I have made in a long time.

Im all about the easy transaction, and this epitomized that. Ive owned around 12 motorcycles of various types over the years and been into many dealerships, lots of dudes out there seem salty or just plain rude. Granted, if you have to stand there all day and hear stories about exploits that never happened or deal with endless amounts of tire kickers not wanting to buy anything I can see how it could get to that point but still...I did NOT have that experience with the crew at Cycle Specialties. I had done my research prior to going into the dealership and knew what a fair price for the bike I wanted was. I spoke to Evan for literally under 5 minutes and told him to call me. He did that afternoon and the deal was done within $100 of where I wanted to be, which was still an OTD price quite a bit under retail. I went the next day to pick up the bike and probably spent a grand total of 30 minutes in the dealership. Evan was great and so was everyone else, including Wes and the guys behind the parts counter (who I bought a helmet from on impulse). No frills, you have the bike I want and lets make the deal happen. I like that! I used to drive all the way to Toledo or Louisville to buy motorcycles but the crew at Cycle Specialties has proven that a local dealer has what it takes to earn my business (and repeat in a few years). If you want slimy used car salesmen haggling over $25 on the bottom line go somewhere else, if you want professionals who do their job well (and for a living), go to Cycle Specialties.

They get 1 star only because I could not leave a zero. They have my bike in their service department for carb. adjustments. Its been there since February 22 and its not on the schedule yet. After checking with them once again this morning, they assure me it wont be ready this week either.Here is the problem, recalls, new bike setups, trade ins, and anything else from sales gets priority over customers looking for service. If your looking to get service work, dont look here. After 2 months waiting for nothing, Im looking for someone else to work on my bike.I can only pray the owner reads this review.

Bought my first bike from them. Got it home and discovered a fuel leak. Called them and told them about it and they fixed it straight away for no charge. Very accommodating.

I already owned a Burgman 400 when I moved to town and needed a place that wasnt afraid to work on it. Cycle Specialties owed me no special favors, because I hadnt purchased a bike from them, but they treat me like a long-time customer when I buy parts or use their service facility. They always manage to get me in and out quickly, keep me informed of what theyve done, and are priced quite reasonably, especially for tires. When and if it comes time to buy a new bike, this will be the first place I will look.

Jim did an awesome job helping my fiance and I pick out helmets that suited our needs, he also assisted in us getting the proper Bluetooth devices we needed. And he really went the extra mile at the check out getting my Yamaha credit line figured out. Stayed late to make sure we were happy and the sale was complete. Very pleasurable to work with.

I had a great experience at Cycle Specialties! I just bought a scooter and needed all the safety gear, but knew nothing about it. I was able to walk in and get help selecting a helmet, jacket and gloves in less than 20 minutes. I didnt get the name of the guy that helped me, but he was perfect. And I didnt even spend as much as I thought I would! Ill definitely be back when I need more accessories like this.

The store looked kind of small from the outside but once your inside there is a lot of stuff to look at. There is also a whole downstairs for the showroom. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back. Oh yeah. My only complaint. Turn the heat down guys, it must have been 80 degrees in there.

I was passing through town on my Honda Valkyrie during a cross country trip when my rear brakes started dragging. No problem, I stopped in to purchase the pads and set to work in the parking lot. I had some trouble and needed to borrow a larger screwdriver. As a mechanic, its not good business to lend out tools to customers, much less strangers. The guys at Cycle Specialties were so accommodating and got me exactly what I needed to get safely back on the road. Good folks and extremely helpful. Im not in the Cinci area, but would highly recommend this shop based on the experience I had.

I recently drove my 18 Ranger through water, the water did not go over the floorboard. A couple days later I went to move the machine and the belt slipped so much that I had to bring it back in and was charged over $100 for a new belt and installation. Please advise customers that you can not drive a Polaris ranger through water, I had imagined the Ranger was more durable, but found it was not!

Everyone who I dealt with and encountered at this dealership was excellent!! I was an out of state buyer who inquired about a bike via the contact us link on their website. I went into the shop on Saturday morning (2/25/17). My friend and I recently got our temps and were looking to buy some of our first gear (helmet and gloves). Shortly after browsing the large helmet section, Brad greeted us both. We filled him in on our rookie status and he gave us a great rundown of the helmet selections and criteria. We both started to settle in on some helmet styles and we never felt rushed at all. Brad was very accommodating and even encouraged us to leave the helmets on for 15-20 minutes (which we did). In the end we both walked away with a helmet and gloves for each of us and couldnt feel better about our purchases. Honestly, a nice surprise for two rookies stepping into motorcycling and already feeling like we have a home shop for our needs.

I was in the market for a new bike. There were a few I was interested in. Evan approached me and started talking about my past riding experience and what I was looking for. We even talked about bikes he doesnt sell. I feel that he truly wanted me on the right bike rather than just make a sale. CS has a great selection and the people throughout the store were knowledgeable and helpful (and they love talking about riding a motorcycle). The test ride was the best part. I rode 2 bikes and Evan told me with each one to take all the time I need and enjoy riding it.

Most of there in stock of clothing is 60/70% over priced! They have limited amount of helmets and vary limited on there maintenance help! Definitely be looking somewhere else for my gear!

Long story short. When someone has all the answers and tells you they are just being honest, beware. Look out for the fees... I got the run around, but wise enough to walk away. Dont think just because they showed you a screen with numbers showing them only making a 32 dollar profit is accurate. Dealers dont show you their bottom line (come on Cycle Specialties) If it sounds to good to be true, then it is. I saved time and money by going to On Target. No freight, setup or documentation fees. Just a standard flat title fee, no shell game.

Terrible place I looked at a Kawasaki Voyager had damage on it used bike would not even deal with me went to Queen city Harley they worked hard with me to get the deal I wanted

Evan delivered exactly what I wanted in a used bike. The bike had a couple of issues, however these were resolved by the service dept. Since then it has been a blast to ride. Saving up for my next bike. I will make Cycle Specialties my first stop when I am ready.Sales dept. has also been great, helmet and tank bag were just what I wanted.

I am a long time customer and for the most part I am very pleased with the service and knowledge I receive. My only complaint would be with their hours of operations. If someone has a regular 9 to 5, it is difficult to catch up with having time to shop or service your purchase during the week. And, theyre only open 6 hours on Saturday and CLOSED on Sundays.
