Andy and his team of experienced art restorers and framers continue to impress me with their knowledge, expertise and attention to detail. They are easy to talk to, professional, affordable and accommodating. Well deserving of a five-star rating or above.

My brother & I had a family portrait our mother had. The portrait includes our grandmother, as a child, great grandfather & a cousin of our grandmother. What a challenge to clean it up & fix the rips in it.My brother & I saw the portrait, restored, for the first time at the Delaware County (Indiana) Historical Society this past weekend. Our congratulations to the team that worked on this project! It was restored beyond our expectations!Old World Restorations must have had a great group of experts & artists working on this! Please express our extreme satisfaction with the out come of the portrait. We formally donated this small part of Delaware County history to their Historical Society.Gerry & Dale Walsh
I had Old World Restorations restore a print that has been in our family since the early 1900s. They did a great job on such a fragile print and the new matte and the touch up work on the frame makes it look wonderful. They do great work. I highly recommend them. Thanks again!Mark Celsor
I had brought in a painting that my dad did in the early 70s. It might not have been the best piece of artwork, but the sentimentally made its value priceless. It really needed to be restored and re-framed. The good folks at OWR listened to my story and treated this old painting as if it were the work of a Master. I was so very impressed. The result was absolutely wonderful and I was surprised at how affordable it was. The painting is now in my office and I have received many compliments on it. Well done OWR!!!
Today, we received back our very large and heavy C 1800 French mirror which had suffered serious frame damage. Apprehensive over the possibility of a successful restoration, we were very pleased with the work Old World Restorations performed. Honest and fair people to do business with and the owner Doug Eisley is a joy to get to know.Doug and Peggy SummersLouisville, Ky.
Old World Restorations fixed the cracking on my grandmothers statue quickly and beautifully. There were no signs of damage after the work was complete. Highly recommend.
My grandmothers school progress report, dated 1907 was recently found after years and years of living in family attics. It had been tightly folded, had a large tear down the center, and was stained and brittle.Doug and his team at Old World Restorations did an excellent job of correcting what could be corrected, particularly the center tear. It was also humidified and flattened, although the lines still are visible. Thats ok with me - before the restoration it would not lie flat at all. The document was treated to de-acidify it which will help to preserve it.The fee for services is worth every dollar spent. This document is a tangible reminder of my grandmother, as well as historically interesting. Doug and the staff at Old World Restorations were professional and pleasant in communicating with me and giving a realistic expectation of how much they could improve the condition of the document. The first two photos show the condition of the paper before restoration. In the third, (the after), the paper is flattened, more supple, stains diminished and the center tear is solidly repaired. Im very pleased with the result. Thanks so much to everyone who assisted!
We purchased a couple of pieces from Eisele Gallery after we moved into our new place. I loved how helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly how patient they were as I fell in love over and over again as we walked through the galleries.I recently talked with Doug about restoring a painting thats been in our family for 100+ years, and was fascinated by the restoration process and years of experience that he personally has! We got it back and it was just fantastic! Thanks Doug!
Very impressive place. I needed to have something repaired that was broken into several pieces. However, the cost was more than I paid for the item. If it had been an heirloom it may have been worth it but not for this particular piece.
Had the privilege of seeing the incredible work done by Old World Restorations in Georgetown last weekend. Collection of over 1,000 paintings, prints, frames and sculptures that they restored over the past 20 years. It was stunning!
Requested a quote on a couple of pieces, never got a response. Very unprofessional.
