My mom and me went early morning to get the fresh long bread warm, lady told my mom itll be ready in 12 mins and I decided to to wait, all the bread was sitting behind on a table and I asked the lady if I can get those but she refused and said the 7 pieces of bread that were clearly cold were the fresh ones....honestly if I asked nicely I wish you can give good customer service back

Its a good place to get a lot of your meats but dont buy the Ribeyes because they are fake steaks that are made with briskets and glued together to look like rib eyes

This is one of my favorite stores but people in the meat section needs to be more organized. they keep taking orders with out a number.

Beautiful fresh produce, large cheese & dairy dept. Meat dept has a very large variety and a homemade bakery.

Ive been coming there for so many years! Before this one I would go to the one on Central Park for well over 20 years! You know what now that I think it went over 30 years well, I do my shopping there but I noticed that theres salsas and sofrito prices have gone up extremely! I am so sad about that. I now go to Valles for my salsas.

The produce selection and quality here is some of the best in the city. The butcher has great options, especially leaning toward latin dishes. There is a tamale vendor here that sells some outstanding tamales -- with a trip to the store for the tamales alone.

I was getting some lunch meat from there I smelled the smell but I did not know it was coming from the lunch meat but when I actually didnt drop the package the smell had overwhelmed the lunch meat was not no good now the person that was cutting your lunch meat I know they smelled it and she still gave it to me I got up to the counter to pay for it and I still smell it so I smelled it was the lunch meat I told the cashier thats no good so she called the manager and told her they were speaking in Spanish I know what she said and they start laughing workers are to be careful what they say because you never know who know the same language you speak

The main store manager are very nice solving the problem, But the cashiers give you a run for your money. The product get stack with wrong prices and they said it not our fault we cant give it to you at that price. Eventhough that the price it got put on. The cashier are very very inconsiderate and very rude. And dont evern try changing your WIC coupons. They are so no not cooperative. Dont pass the amount of your fruit coupon because then they force you to pay the difference or lose the whole fruits coupon. And I mean I ask the lady to just take stuff out because I had forgotten my wallet and she said No I cant do it. I swear the are very rude.

Beautiful selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, and in the deli. Found fruits Ive never experienced until today. The employees were very personable, friendly and helpful but selecting ripe fruits to eat this afternoon. A very affordable store.Ill be taking a nice selection of fruits and vegetables back to Michigan with me.

The people are real nice. Selection seems to be great, too. But I noticed when with many, many tortilla brands, they didnt carry the beans my family eats (El Milagro). They have a plentiful produce section and 2 butcher sections (fish and meat counters) plus a cheese counter also tended by a live person. Prices are not the lowest, but not high either.

Great Store. Unfortunately, they took away the eating area. They sell ready to eat food. This was mainly the reason why I shopped at this location.

When reporting to manager Linda that bagged bolillos didnt specify per each or per bag she walks away from the register rudely saying outloud they are two pieces for 1 dollar we are not giving away product in front of others. When we said excuse me her next step was to find a guilty staff member other than honoring and rectifying just like any other reputable store would. She didnt recognize the store error which was the reason we were even talking to her not because 4 dollars would make a difference on a 70 dollar purchase. Not the first time their signs are misleading or non existent and they treat people like they are stu*id.Other than that good products and stocked well.

Went to the meat counter to purchase fresh Catfish steaks they were frozen.. And they had a strong freezer taste my first and last time coming to this store.. The first experience wasnt a good one.

I always find what I need. Have a great bakery section and have good meals that one can buy. They also started bringing in more organic food, so there are more option for those that are looking organic things.

Now let me start off by saying, this epidemic has got us all frustrated, annoyed, anxious, scared, I get it! And i can only imagine what the essential workers, such as the people who work in the cash registry, must feel as they go in to work daily. I GET IT! My problem is, is the attitude necessary FIRST THING IN THE MORNING? I come in at 8am this morning for some groceries and to change some WIC coupons I needed to exchange. Mind you, I have NOT come in to the store or ANY store since the first week of March because I myself have been feeling anxious about going out to public places.I decide to come today to come out of the house, taking necessary precautions, and i come early in the morning as I felt it would be much easier for me to deal with since I figured it would be alot less people in the store. I get to the register with one of the new girls, who was freshly hired around the time i last came in. I know because she ringed me out and she was being shadowed by one of the other cashiers. She seem niced, and i was patient since i figured maybe all the other costumers where avoiding her for not being a spanish speaker, and she needed all the practice she could get.Today she was arrogant! Attitude and all! I walk up to her lane and start putting my groceries out as she is finishing up with a costumer.I kept my destince, of course, but she goes off to say to let her finish with the costumer first. I said sure, its fine. which was not a problem for me. But as soon as i give her my WIC coupons when it was my turn, she takes a deep breath, attitude and everything and loudly tells herself Oh god! Its early in the morning for this! i figured she doesnt like doing the coupons?!But seriously? She made this VERYY unpleasent for me...VERY!WE ALL need to be nice to each other. And just like cashiers expect us to be sensitive towards them, especilly in these times, it should be mutual towards the costumer because none of us know what we are all dealing with individually.

This location has so many options to chose from! They are abundant in fruits and vegetables. The reason why I deducted a star is because the prices can get pretty high compared to la Chiquita. The customer service is great! Idk what others are talking about, i always come in with my backpack because i come from class or work and get my stuff. I have never been followed or harassed. I would come more often if they dropped their prices.

They use the same broom to sweep the floor to sweep the produce section at night. Prices are high for the same quality as any other basic grocery store, and Linda today would not accept my wic coupon for my baby because I didnt spell out my first name and I signed it in front of the cashier. After I said okay I will just sign my first name I was told no and told I cant sign my first name. Ive been coming for years because they stay open late (but wont get produce from here). Luckily I found another store nearby I can shop at. My child now does not have milk or eggs until next month. Thanks guys really searching the community

I went to buy food today, I live in Berwyn and I did not know that in Cicero you have to put on the protection mask . The person who made me was not a store manager, he saw me and told me that he could not be there with an attitude and told me that he would call the police and took me from the store. The person who was in the entrance did not inform me anything that I could not enter the store like this without mask . I will never go to that store .

This is always my quick dash go to for super last minute items I need when I know aldi (across the street) is closed or dont sell single items like apples, onions, bell peppers etc and I only need 1. Or when I dont feel like traveling to food 4 less or Wal-Mart. They also have very authentic Hispanic foods that I cant get at any other stores Ive named. They are a lil more expensive than the other stores I named but I chalk it up to spending that extra in gas to travel. The employees are always super nice and helpful unlike some of the customers that probably still dont like integration (the stares are priceless). Nevertheless, I will definitely continue to come here to get fresh groceries and learn about other items Ive never seen or heard of.
