While I was driving, I notice my tire needed air. Stop by at a self service car wash next door but the air machine does not work. Saw their shop near us and called them to ask if they can give my car some air.The lady at the phone was very nice and let the mechanic know that we are there. Not only they help me added air to my car, they did it for free. I was willing to offer payment but the person just left. Just wanted to say thank you for that. If I need my car fix, I am definitely will look for services here.

Absolutely fantastic service from Tony and crew. Our A/C unit above the passenger footwell was leaking, so the team auto staff cleaned it out in short time and gave it back to us at no charge. I was very impressed.

Ive been taking my cars to tony (owner) for years, if you want an onest mechanic this is were you should take youre car, and the prices are very reasonable.i never felt like i over paid.Once you try it youll never take youre car any were else..

If I could I would give Team Auto 0 stars. Run, don;t walk away from this place. I told the owner he should change the name of this place to Crooks Auto. Seeing all the classic cars in the showroom I though they would know how to work on a 64 Plymouth Valiant. I took my car in for brake work and when I got my car back after 1 day I noticed one of the lug nuts on the passenger side front wheel had broken off. When I looked further I saw that Team Auto had broken off the bolt in the wheel hub and tried to tack weld it back on. When i took my car back to Team Auto the owner said his mechanic did not know that year Mopar car has left-handed threads and broke off the bolt. When I asked him why they didnt replace it the bolt, he said they couldnt find one for that year car. So instead of telling me they had botched the job they tried to tack weld the bolt back on to the wheel hub. DO NOT TRUST this auto repair place. They offered me no money back and NEVER did fix the wheel correctly. I WILL NEVER go back here I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW that this place is run by incompetent mechanics

I used to take my cars to the dealers until I concluded I was receiving crappy service. I had no idea how crappy . . . . I bumped into a guy in a parking lot (that is, I just happened upon him . . . I didnt bump into his car) and we got to talking about mechanics and when I shared this thought he gave a glowing review of Team Auto; so I gave Team Auto a try . . . TEN YEARS AGO! Ive been going there ever since and havent regretted it once.Im writing this review, today, because I just got off the phone with them and they replaced a demolished catalytic converted on a CA-model Volvo with an after-market part that meets all specs but saves me $400. Sweet. So, Im so happy, Im writing a review.Heres the deal: great work (have NEVER had an unfixed or re-occurring problem -- things have been fixed right, the first time, every time, no kidding, in TEN YEARS), great service (phone calls are picked up, questions answered, call-backs made when promised, work done on-time and under estimate), and good follow up. They use after-market (cheaper) parts with your permission but will stick with manufacturer goods if thats what you want.Bottom line: No B.S., no screwing around, no ups, no extras. Just great work, great service, affordable price. Pay your bill. Thank you very much.If you live within, say, 10 miles of this place, youre an idiot to not try them. The CTA Blue Line (Austin) is 2.5 blocks from the garage and runs into the city in 20 minutes. Drop your car off, go to work, pick it up, and have things fixed without getting hosed.Done.

Ive been going to Team Auto for over 15 years now. Tony and his team are the best! They do the job right, and on time. They let you know exactly what is going on and what to expect. And they go the extra mile to take care of their customers. Even after moving from Oak Park out to Carol Stream, I still take my cars there if they need any work. Ive changed doctors, dentists, and others, but Im sticking with my mechanic.
