I love this place. Everybody Ive talked to @ SD HYDRO have been very helpful, knowledgeable and best of all, friendly. They will answer questions that they probably heard a million times and not make you feel dumb. They really care that you grow the best, garden that you can! And the prices are fantastic. I recommend anybody starting a garden for the first time, check out SD HYDRO, they know their S#&T!

As soon as I came in the door, I was greeted by a charismatic, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest man named Derek. He walked me through the ins and outs of indoor and outdoor gardening. I couldnt recommend a better local business to support, take the time to check this place out whether youre in North or South county I promise you will not regret it.

These guys know what there doing,.There personal skills with customers makes you wanna come back just to kick it. when it comes to growing it looks like they have it all.I went for some Demetrius earth food grade and they had it at good price.

First impression was disappointing. Guy who was working in there told me it would be unfair to everybody if he told me what I needed to do as a first timer. That hes gotten to where hes at now by trial and error for the past 10 years and that his co-workers had to go to college and pay a lot of money for it. And to think all I asked was which is the better brand. If that was the case maybe he shouldnt have asked if I needed help. Whoever that guy with scratchy voice, needs some crash course on customer service. Why didnt you just say handover your wallet and Ill spend your money for you and by the way dont say anything to me.....

New store is huge and has a lot to offer and cant beat the prices. The staff was super knowledgeable and answered all my questions I wasnt sure about. No need to shop anywhere else.

I stoped by today to see if they had an item I wanted, and was told that I could build it cheaper and was showed every part I needed. Excellent customer service, I will be coming back for anything else I need.7/17/17- Stopped by today for something to treat bug problem i am having. Not only was I given alot of info on how to treat and prevent problems, when it came time to purchase something, I was given a bottle of SNS 209, to sample for free. I left so happy, I forgot about the other things I came for. This is my go to spot for anything I need.

Ive had bad experiences on other hydroponics & organics stores, but not in this one, the store clerk and the owner are super helpful and they know what they talk about.
