They never have what im looking for in the way of hardware. Strange to have tried 5 times to buy something I needed here and all 5 times they dont have it.True value is a better nut and bolt place.

Had every bolt and nut I was looking for. A lot cheaper than home depot. I liked how they weighed the hardware and didnt sell by the piece. Bought 7/16-20 grade 8 bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts. Went to this location during the corona pandemic and they were following all the CDC guidelines. Asked for help at the front desk and the gentleman was very knowledgeable on what I was looking for. DEFINITELY going back and recommended.

We were visiting the Chula Vista Elite Olympic Athlete training center to watch and photograph the u16 and u21 USA Junior National Field Hockey teams. Our Monopod broke and someone at Home Depot recommended Bolts & Nuts. The games started at 9am and every other fastener business did not open until 8 or 9am. Bolts & Nuts opens at 7am. I found my way to Bolts & Nuts from our hotel in Chula Vista. The owner showed up right on time and I began to explain my situation to him. He was by far the kindest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in the service industry. He thought for a minute and came up with a brilliant solution to fix my broken Monopod. When he was done he showed me just how strong his fix was and it was indeed better than when it was originally purchased. I asked him how much? He replied, “don’t worry about it, you pay me next time. I just like to help people” I told him that we were not from here and probably would not see him again. He said “ok- you can pay me what ever you feel like it was worth”. I made sure I gave him a decent amount and thanked him profusely. I told him without his fix, there was no way we could hold up a 10lb. Camera and shoot the Team USA games. Unbelievably expensive. Paid .70 cents ea for 15 socket head cap screws that would cost .30 cents from mcmaster carr . Suggest Chula Vista Bolt on bay boulevard as a first choice definitely has lower prices But if your in a pinch you just gotta pay for it. Unfortunately CV Bolt was out of stock

How did I not know about this place? Thanks to the guy at the local NAPA for letting me know. Way cheaper than the big hardware/auto stores. Friendly guy and claims he has every metric bolt size. Ill definitely be back.

U can find just about any nut or bolt

They went above and beyond to help me out with my problem. I tried about 5 to 6 different hardware stores before them. But they were the only place that actually helped me accomplish the job. Highly recommend!

This is one of the greatest bolt stores I have been to it is especially nice because it has almost every bolt you can think of and the customer service is good too if you ever go ask for Isaac.
