Ron Krasner, the owner of The Pawn Shop, is an exceptionally fair and ethical person. I bought a vintage guitar amplifier, which required a substantial amount of repair, after being seriously damaged due to excessively rough handling in the mere four hour shipping commute fromChula Vista to Santa Barbara! Ron had the decency and integrity to compensate me for expenses related to repairs, after filing a claim with the carrier, which was denied. (Surprise!). This is the kind of person Iwould feel good about doing business with in the future.The manner in which Ron dealt with our issue has built a strong sense of trust and respect for his high standard of assuring customer satisfaction.We need more business owners like Ron Krasner!

Walked into the store on Wednesday looking for a pearl necklace. Was greeted by a friendly staff member, who did not pressure me with questions.....great start!!Found a case with several necklaces. Met Hector and he assisted me from that point. We talked about my needs and he answered all my questions. Showed me several necklaces and and I made selection - beautiful single strand vintage type piece with a unique Pearl and Garnet clasp.Bottom line....great store, great staff and a great place to shop!Thanks Hector, I will be back.P.S. This place ROCKS! We have bought several wonderful items here.My wife shopped here for years. They have great prices on jewelry and all of their items can be bought on payments. I got my wifes engagement, wedding band set here and on payments. Such nice, and special people. I recommend them to everyone. Buy, sell, it makes no difference. They are knowledgeable and courteous.

Went in looking to pawn a couple things and I was not sure how it would go since I had never used such a service. Ron greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable from go by being up front and honest. Everything was clearly explained and I was given a fair price. I really felt like he wanted to make sure I got what I came in for and did not over extend myself. I highly recommend this pawn shop to anyone and everyone!

Great, friendly service. Other pawnshops wouldnt let me pawn some of my silver bullion, but it wasnt a problem here. They also have a bigger selection of products for sale than the other pawn shops in the area. Highly recommended!

Best Broker in San Diego. Hands down! I’ve been going these guys since I was a child in the early 90’s and would skate in to their IB location to get lost in all the cool things on their walls or in the windows. It had a couple of issues that cost me about $10 bucks to bring to original condition. GREAT DEAL...I saved at least $200 on a very high quality tube amp.3. SUPPORT THIS LOCAL PAWN SHOP. Great place and have always given me honest answers to my questions about their services and items they currently have. This is the only pawn shop I will deal with now. Never once have the staff been rude to me or my family.

The Pawnshop at 389 Broadway is a very neat and clean store and very well organized. The employees there are very helpfull and try to help in any way they can. They have been family owned and operated since 1958. If you need a small amount of money on a loan or want to save money rather then buying retail I suggest The Pawnshop.

It was an easy with no issues transaction.i was in and out in a matter of minutes. Ron was professional and courteous, i ratye the pawn shop overall great.

This is a great place. The owner is real nice and fair. It is the only pawn shop we go to.

Great place. Clean and welcoming. Went in for a garmin gps and it was priced at $110. The guy turned it on for me and showed me that it worked and said he would let it go for $85 before I even offered a price. I came back with $75 and we met at $80. Very friendly service and I got some savings at the same time. Would recommend to anyone looking for used electronics or musical equipment (most of the store) and want a good deal.

The only pawnshop that actually carrys music gear thats worth the price. Even though the fat mexican guy can get carried away with his jokes...i can still sit him down and walk out with a new purchased Stratocaster and Marshall Amp.By the way, the Fat Mexican is an awesome sales person. 5 stars for him also. His comical side makes you feel welcomed.Not like those pawn shops where they stare at you and make you feel unwanted. The only time i had an issue was a while back with the old man, he told me not to play the piano unless i had cash, which i did. But i didnt want to buy the piano since i already have too many lol But i can understand most older people get angry haha
