I came in looking for a banner to match some decorations I had bought online. I showed Joe a picture and immediately he knew what inventory he had that matched my theme and set off to hand pick the options for me. He was so kind, professional and extremely helpful. Joe went above and beyond in my opinion, he provided me with excellent customer service- thank you! I’ll be back for all my party needs :)

While there I noticed employees only interested in themselves, I wont go back here

Party city is absolutely fantastic. They have everything you could want and need for the party in you. Cheesy I know, but it’s pretty cool!

This store in particular has a lot of empty shelves and short staff that if you need help to find something you need to look on your own

So you’re store closes at 8 currently 7:17 and your store is closed. The associate then proceeds to point at the sign that displays the hours which says close at 8. SMH

Large costume and party items store. But items running out and very limited Halloween stuff. Somewhat crowded and customers are rude, be patient. Dont expect staff to help or sort items as they are busy with cashier check outs. Plenty of parking as store is located in a mall.

Went in for birthday balloons and had about 20 filled up. Within 12 hours ever single balloon was on the ground. Helium they used was bad.

They are the worst. I order a costume online. And they call me say they dont have and will change it out for a bigger size. I get there and they dont have it. They are not even busy but are too lazy to help me..thanks..

The store felt really empty and lonely, didnt feel like a exiting party at all even thought they specialize in that area, but there redeeming quality are the employees who are very kind and helpful.

Its ok for unexpected or last minute details. I was able to find everything at the Dollar Tree on East H. St. at a huge price difference.

This location simply didnt give the military discount or even ask if there was a military ID available and then once it was discovered still refused to give it, saying the transaction was already completed so it was too late??? Its so simple really, b/c if a refund was asked to be given, they would have to give it, and then you simply repurchase with the discount. I mean you cant ring up the total, have a card declined and still get the merchandise and say; ...sorry the transaction has been done, Ill have enough money next time... Theres definitely no PARTY in this city...

My boys love it here. Its a great place for the children to get ll of their energy out and for the adults to kind of relax. Youre also allowed to bring outside food, which is great because their snack prices are kind of pricey. They have in-and-out access between Monday through Thursday, meaning they allow you to leave, if you need yo runs errands or something, then come back again on the same day. Just hold onto the wrist bands they give you.

Party City is Party City. Lots of Party stuff, not always at the best price to get it at. Great selection of items for themes and generic colors and schemes. Their balloon selection is amazing but you should go and preorder from when you need. I have been here a couple of times and they are busy filling orders that need to be picked up. Anything around the balloon holidays it only makes sense to preorder your balloons.

This has been the worst experience in my life with customer service at party City birch Chula Vista ca. I place a order online to pick up and paid in full my money was taken out posted not pending and the store manager was so ignorant and don’t want to give me my costumes he said we haven’t took enough your money yet it’s pending even I told him no look at my account I know the difference of pending and posted I work for the bank for 10 years I know the difference but he dint care short story don’t get my stuff but I could not believe how people so ignorant can make it to managers damm party city has a low stander for their qualifications to hire a manager but FYI that how you loose customers and go bankrupt

I think is way better than the other party city (the one at north Broadway). They have a functional printer for cards and banners which is great because other branches dont have one or broken.

I came here to fill balloons for a party. It was quiet and wasnt crowded at all. Super fast service. Waited about 15 mins for a bunch of balloons. Maybe like 30 of them. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend. Its attached to the Otay Mall so lots of cool stores to see if you do have to wait a bit.

Not to much variety and sizes for adult on Halloween costumes. The dressing rooms sucked. Only 2 dressing rooms no mirrors inside to look at yourself. You to come outside in front of everyone else waiting in line to look yourself. Not happy at all..one lady went in a dressing room with 4 kids and was in there an eternity..so literally one dressing room. Only 5 people before me took 40 minutes to try on. Next year can do betterCustomer service was good though..

Kurt, the manager, is truly amazing. I purchased two giant number balloons and when I got home one of them flew away instantly. I was extremely upset because it was not tied properly. I gave them a call to see if there was something they can do for me. I fortunately got a hold of Kurt and he was able to flawlessly help me out. He was extremely kind and handled my situation very professionally. I normally don’t do reviews, however, I wanted to show my gratitute towards him and emphasize how little acts of kindness shouldn’t go unnoticed. I wish all managers were that great!

This is the biggest party city I have ever been in. They have so much stuff for kids and adults birthday parties, and weddings. They have a ton of candy, and they have costumes. They had baking stuff like fondant, character cake pans, a variety of different size and shape cake pans, and candy toppers. So much fun stuff.

Very surprised this place generates enough sales to survive... but I am glad it’s here because I use often and is perfect for those party essentials!

The store manager Cynthia was extremely unhelpful and rude. I found better help from her employees than i did from her. She ignored her customers and when we found her she was very short and rude with her answer and offered no extra help and continued to walk away. When i had a second question she was no where to be found. This manager sets a terrible example of customer service. Employees should always have good service, especially the management! If this is how this store will be ran in the future, i will gladly not return to this business, and perfectly okay with going somewhere else with better customer service.

Wow, if you are pressed for time and have something in mind, save yourself some time and ask a staff member for assistance. If your not rushed for time enjoy looking around. Attitude is everything, keep it positive and your experience will be positive. Be patient, sometimes it can be busy.

Its a good place dont get me wrong, I love it, but the kids large costumes are too small and the only adult size is way to big for me mainly by height, and Im around 5 feet tall

Looking all over for an angry birds foil balloon that makes noise when you hit it for my 3yr old nephew and they had one left they held for me. The girl at the counter even re inflated the balloon 4 days later so it could be nice and full again in time for his bday party. Thats great customer service.!

Was there on September 23rd. Bought the ballon but they ran out of helium. I have to return it after I found out Vons has the same item and has enough helium. Heard it was the first time they ran out of helium. Can’t imagine how such a big company can’t manage to have enough supplies during the weekends. Guess they don’t care about losing business.

I gave it 1 star because one of the girls in the front (possibly a manger) was so rude. Then while I was asking for a costume and size to the guy that was standing there calling in the costumes to the back people she walks up and tells him go the back now were going to train everyone real quick the guy just leaves doesnt tell me anything. When he gets back he starts taking another persons request I walk up to him and say did u check to see if they have my costume ... I literally had to Remind him 3xs. By this time I and even my 7 yr old daughter were so annoyed. These workers at this store are all over the place. We left and went to Halloween store on sweetwater rd national city and got the costume my daughter wanted. It was 6 dollars more but worth it rather than dealing with these un-organized rude workers especially the manager!

This store has some of the most miserable employees Ive ever met, they stand around talking and act like customers are an annoyance, you literally couldnt pay them to acknowledge you.The prices are outrageously high for cheap products and the store constantly smells like rotting plastic. I would rather be crucified than step in this store again.
