Good place to chill and take a break with a coffee. They stop serving sandwiches at around 5, which i dont like, but it is still a great place. The employees are good with conversation, and they are almost always playing Marvel or DC movies or sports on their tv. Relaxing environment and good service

I will say that the Chai Latte was really good. However, it was really really expensive in comparison to other places. I normally don’t care if the cost is within reason, but with a $1 tip it was close to $8.00. For tea and some milk. I almost canceled my order and maybe should have.

Understaffed and not well prepared drinks. Seems sugar and cream are the main ingredients in most things here. Not for coffee lovers. The staff that was present was not very quick or attentive.

Love this place! Its an open cafe with plenty of seating for people actually eating, or doing work. Very healthy menu with smoothies, sandwiches, salads.The sandwiches are pretty big, my mom and I wished we would have split one and the smoothie we got! We got the Tuna, and the Eggplant sandwich and the large berry smoothie

Clean and trendy atmosphere. The ice blend mocha is a bit bland. Altogether I ordered the ice blend mocha, hot mocha, and smoothie. They came out to be almost $18. I thought this was very pricey considering the better quality of drinks at Starbucks or Jamba Juice.If you are looking for a trendy place to hang out, then I would recommend this place. Else, the alternative is less expensive at Starbucks or Jamba Juice.

Great espresso and at a great low price. Great variety of unique one of a kind special options. Open late so thats a plus. I got the white chocolate raspberry truffle mocha and it was delicious!

I was here on april 22 and ordered a panini sandwich. I asked for crispy bacon. The young woman appeared to mock me to the cook while they bothsnickered about it. That was rude andmade me feel uncomfortable abiut ever coming back here

I love their No-Sugar-Added Ice Blended Frappuccinos, one a few places that offers them. 😋 However, the place is over due for some improvements, both in the furnishings and in the food they offer. They have Einstein Bagels and a Mexican Taco Shop next door, so they must improve the taste and quality of the foods they offer. The quality of the coffee they use to make their various coffee drinks need to also improve. And like I said Ive been a customer for at least 20 years. I would hate to see fade away and really hope they make the needed improvements. Good luck. 👍

My go-to to study. Noise level is moderate so I use headphones to eliminate most of it. Great drinks and tasty food! I enjoy their chicken sandwiches. Love this place! Wifi too

Very nice place with a good selection of custom made coffees and blends We particularly liked the Polar Beer a delicious combination of white chocolate, espresso and Irish cream syrup. The baristas are very nice and accommodating. Definitely a place to hang out and relax. They also have a good selection of pastries to accompany your beverage. If I could change something would be the lighting as it comes right on your face while you seat in the comfortable couches in the dinning room. Over all a great place to be.

After taking a look at their menu, I knew I needed to try them out. I had a delicious raspberry truffle drink and my friend had some kind a chai drink. Original flavors, a bit sweet as far as the raspberry truffle went, but I dont regret stepping out of my comfort zone. I visited on a Friday night, and sat on the entrance couch for a good 2 hours. It turned out to be a good spot, the place was filled but not too loud. Give it a try!

Love this place. You stand having your coffee at the bar. The coffee quality is fantastic and it’s great value - 90 cents for an espresso, 1.10 euro for a cappuccino. They’re very quick as well. Extremely busy on the weekends and in the mornings so stop by on a weekday afternoon for a more quiet and less chaotic experience!!

Ive been going to the cafe for about 5 years now. This was always my go-to place for a good cup of coffee while I worked on my school projects. Their coffee selection is wide and they do have a good food menu.

I wish this place was closer then Id go more often. They have an amazing eggplant sandwich, non veggie eating people would even eat it! Their coffee is delicious....I like mine sweet and their drinks have a nice balance between those hardcore bitter coffee drinks and diabetes sweet.

Terrible unhealthy coffee . They dont even have stevia and nothing organic Great place to hang out. Food is way over priced, same prices as a fancy restaurant. Beer is fair price

The service is really great. if you ever need to study or get work done the atmosphere is great to do it here. The drinks are awesome too. if you ever have a chance to visit i suggest trying out one of their cold drinks, polar bear. I usually come here to finish or study work. Also the people come to this place too are really nice too. out of all the times ive been coming here i seen all types of reasons why people are coming here. definitely a family friendly area.

This was a great find for all of those that live in south county. This place blows all of the chain coffee places out of the water. The smoked turkey sandwich was excellent and my Frappuccino espresso was strong. What I really like about this place was that it has a decent selection of micro brews on tap. I would return again if I was in the area.

Decent selection of foods and drinks, but nothing special. Plenty of other similar places in the area with better smoothies, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Easy access, centrally located in the plaza. Parking is tight.

Nice place but bad service. Less talking by the individuals working behind the counter would result in drinks getting out faster. It’s unacceptable to have to wait nearly 10 minutes for a drink when it isn’t busy.

I got robbed here on 11/25/17 at around 6:20pm in the Patio. I have asked for their help and see if they have a surveillance camera for review to find the people that robbed me. Since then, I did not get any response from the owner nor Terra Nova Plaza. Security guards were nowhere to be found at that time. Reported it to the Police and they never showed up either. Already have a Police report filed for almost a week now. Im still waiting for the Caffe Tazza owner to see if they have captured anything.. I know you are out there and can read this. I highly doubt those cameras work. If they do, theyre probably not recording. Just my thought.

I walked in around 9a.m and stood in front of the register for atleast 5 min waiting to order a cup of coffee. Neither one of the girls acknowledged me with a simple hello we will be with you in one min as they did with another lady who came in after me to which she was talking on the phone. So i left and i dought either person noticed me at all. The girl with glasses did notice the lady on the phone however. I understand its busy and there may or may not be an agenda with this place however please take notice of Starbucks operation and invest some time in customer service training.

Great local cafe. Coffee tasted a little burnt, but perfectly reasonable if you’re looking for somewhere to post up and get work done. Don’t expect this place to be a good office space if you’re looking to take a meeting; the tv and general chatter is prominent and a little crowded even on a weekday afternoon.

Had a hot spiced Chai. Very tasty and much better than the Starbucks variety. I really liked the atmosphere. There is plenty of comfortable seating. It’s quiet and not too busy.

I love coffee, and caffe Tazza makes a great blended mocha. Their sandwiches are also pretty good when they get it.The are always too busy and they should have some dedicated to making their food. I would eat more often but you never know what you are going to get.

Seen the place for a while and decided to go. The coffee of the day was SUPER, I think it was called Almond blend. Pretty good environment, the couches make it that much more chill. Definetely coming back just to try different blends.

The coffee is pretty inexpensive, and I’m sure it’s great, but it’s all in a pre-made self-serve containers and I got the last bit of an old batch and it tasted foul. I will try it again tomorrow but with a fresh batch and see how it all goes

Ive been here about four times now. The service is friendly enough, the food was good, the coffee is okay, and the atmosphere chill. I read a lot of reviews about the coldness, but honestly it wasnt a problem for me these last four visits. They have plenty of seating. Some couches, chairs, tables, outdoor and bar seating. The place was festively decorated for Christmas and New Years. My daughter was fascinated by the window artwork, commenting that the snowman had a very realistic arm and hand instead of a stick arm.(and, I realized just now that I should have taken a picture to show you! I will try, next visit...)The specialty coffee drinks are a tad on the sweet side for me. I guess you can always tell them to tone it down a notch or add an extra shot(extra $ too) if you so desire. Ive had the Raspberry Truffle, Polar Bear, and Heath Mocha so far.On this visit, there was a steady stream of customers. Me and my boy tried the breakfast panini and the breakfast bagel. I had the Heath Mocha, iced, and the son had a Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie to drink for todays brunch. I was a bit shocked when the bill was $25+...a bit pricey, yeah? Oh well, I still put some dollars in the tip jar anyway because I am a good customer.We enjoyed watching the two televisions near our table - or should I say, watching and reading the captions, because the volume was so low, and you couldnt hear them due to the noise level from the customers, blenders, coffee grinders/makers, etc. On this particular day, we had a choice of college football, and The Walking Dead for viewing pleasure.I did notice the beer and wine selection and the happy hours posted on the chalkboard. I will have to stop in and have a glass one day with a late lunch or something.

Ive been coming here more recently since my schoolwork has been piling up from my incessant procrastination, but this is a great spot to study! I always order their hot specialty drinks (either the Polar Bear or White Hazelnut Mocha) and its always good. The pricing here is broke college student friendly and the employees here are super nice.Highly recommend for my fellow Chula Vista and National City college students to come here if you cant be bothered with the commute to North Park or Hillcrest to study.** NOTE: This place closes at 11pm compared to Lestats overnight hours.

How has this place stayed open so long? In addition to having an inconvenient location, bad coffee, bad food, and uncomfortable furniture, it is overpriced.

Terrible coffee. They have the coffee for the espresso preground in dosers, its probably months old to begin with, and they use superautomatic machines. What this means for the customer is a water down, flavourless shot that tastes of murkey pond water mixed with drawing charcoal.
