Has a nice selection of goods inside the store and the garden section is great! There is a large parking lot and parking spots have always been very easy to find!

I love home Depot, but holy cow. The girl working the pro desk on October 4th around 1045am is worthless. She has an attitude and every response is, I dont know, let me transfer you. Its the pro desk for a reason and I couldnt get her name because she purposely said it incoherently. Not what I usually come across at home Depot. 4 calls later I was hoping someone else would pick up the phone, but I got this employee. 1 hour wasted just trying to figure out if a van is available. Never had this experience with home Depot.

Home Depots are always the best shopping place. Everything you need for the house. The best for yards and gardening. I just wish they had hot dog stands out front like they did in Florida. Nothing like a snack after rounding up necessities. Oh well, we dont get hurricanes at least. Hahaha exclamation

The employees here on the floor seemed like you bothered them by asking questions, even making some sighing sounds or faces. The cashiers at customer service and in lines were very nice, total opposite of floor people. Prefer to go to the National City location over this one, I would drive there to NC to avoid this Chula Vista location even if it wasnt closer.

Yvonne at the Palm Avenue HD went above and beyond in helping us pick out tiles for my mother-in-laws bathroom renovation. When it turned out we needed to change the type of tile, she helped us again to make sure we got the right materials. Yvonne is very competent, professional and bilingual. Well keep going to that Home Depot in future bc of her.

Close to home so thats a plus, nice cashier helped me today, clean store, fair prices.

Rented a van to move some things that were too large to move in my own vehicle. Rental process was easy enough. Was able to return the van before the 75 minute time limit. When renting I was charged a $150 deposit which I agreed to. The grand total of my rental after returning the can came to $20.66 including tax so I was due to be refunded $129.34. I received the receipt saying as much. Now, 3 days later and I have yet to receive such refund and when calling the store I get placed on hold by the automated system until the next available representative can take my call. After about 5 minutes of being on hold, the phone then rings... and rings... and rings... and rings and no one EVER picks up. I have been trying for the better part of 2 hours to contact the store. Ive tried letting it ring for about 10 minutes straight. I have tried calling back. I have tried getting ahold of different departments. This is in the middle of the afternoon. Same result every time. I guess my only option is to go to the store. Something I had not planned to do. I am sure the mixup is an honest one and I understand mistakes happen. This review is solely based on my inability to actually talk to someone at the store.

I needed four major appliances for my recently remodeled kitchen. I heard a big sale was coming up soon but I needed my appliances NOW! After installation of my appliances and the start of the big sale, I went back to Home Depot to get the difference of the sell price and what I had paid earlier.Home Depot happily refunded the difference which was $480. Thank You Home Depot.

Trying to make a return here or get any help at night is apparently not an option per the employees. Ive been standing here 10+ minutes, there are 4 employees at the customer service desk alone, only 1 working and 15 others just wandering the store. The 1 is busy and not a single other person I see is doing ANYTHING. I even watched another guy wandering the store trying to find help while employees continue to hang out and joke like its high school....what an unmanaged circus!

Love this place! Went in for door silencers (bet you dont know what those are cause I sure didnt!) Anyway, there they are! Aisle 8 bin 13! Saved me on a tight job.And you gotta love the people! Hard working and always helping. Thanks HD. Daddys toy store does it again!

Got my items and had a pleasant check out. Cashier, Francine, was cheerful and made me feel welcome. Overall I had a pleasant experience.

Representatives run away from you when you’re looking for help.Perhaps the management asks them to fulfill many tasks and they can’t complete when helping customers so they have to run away from customers to do them? Or are they just this horrible at helping people?

This is the where we run out and get everything, from paper towels to tools to cleaning supplies, putting soil, plants (They have Venus Flytraps which are pretty awesome), just whatever we need. Home depot is kinda like Walmart, they have decorations and all kind of stuff. Its a great store

DO NOT BUY a pre-assemble grill from here. The majority of them were scratch and with large dents. Some where missing parts and screws. Some screws were lose. I purchase one and when we went to load it to the car they said it was the best one they had with multiple scratches and dents. It was also missing a knob. I didn’t find out till it was purchased. So I ask to just to have it in a box instead which they said they had. I waited about 20min before them explaining to me why they don’t have it in a box before sending me to another Home Depot. Just for them to offer me another grill with more bangs and scratches after I ask to have a box ready. I had to wait another 30mins while everyone there was blaming the people here. Both were extremely disappointing.

Ive always enjoyed coming here, no exceptions for this visit. I shop fast, use a list, get in and out quickly. Now with self-checkout, this is even easier :) When I have a question, its easy to get an answer. Ill use Home Depot over the other guys any day.

Its an okay store ... About the same as a Lowes ... The Day of the Old School Hardware Store that had everything regardless of Popularity or Date of Original Manufacture are Long Gone. These Stores are Sad Replacements.Look Even San Diego Hardware - which had been a True Old School - has found a niche in the High End Market of Door and Cabinetry Hardware. Hats off to them for Surviving the Ultimate Demise of Old Hardware Stores but a Sad State of Affairs for this Country and Small Business Owners Nation Wide.

Good AfternoonI would like to say thanks for the help I received last Saturday,I came into your store looking for a toilet assembly kit to replace the broken one that I already had.The gentleman would helped me with the kit I purchased made sure I did not over spend for something I did not need.We discussed my problem or project and he gave me exactly what I needed and it worked out perfectly. He explained how to install the flushing knob and I was able to install without any problems.When I return soon, I will be looking for him personally to say thanks and let his manager know the excellent help he gave me.It helps also to be greeted at the door with a smile, the same lady who worked Saturday also worked on Sunday around 9:30-10:00 am.I enjoy being a return customer....Nathan

Cart handles are not being disinfected. I tried to find someone to confirm that handles were disinfected. I waited and as I waited customers leaving the store were pushing their cart into the line of other carts. I nor the cashier could find the person supposed to be cleaning carts. Never could find anyone so she cleaned one for me, reluctantly, while telling me it wasnt her job to do that. After, I picked up the couple items I needed I asked the cashier about cleaning the carts. He said theres someone doing that. I asked who and where they were. I stepped out and looked, nobody in sight. While Im having this conversation with the cashier someone walked up and the cashier pointed out he was supposed to be cleaning carts. So I asked where hes been. He said he was helping a customer load up. I asked about carts and he said they are clean. I questioned him on that. He said once he wipes the handle he pushes them together. I explained I waited for SOME time I never saw him but I did see customers push their cart into the other carts in the cart corral. He said when he sees a customer do that he cleans the cart. So, my question was, how are you doing that if you are loading customer cars? ...... no response.

This one is okay but we where in the area and remembered we needed some more gutter hangers ext. Well come to my surprise we left dissatisfied because this home depot did not have any brown vinyl gutters k-style anything so thanks allot now Im stuck with white end caps and white connecting pieces 😭

Terrible experience with online order for curbside pickup.Placed an order online for pickup at 10am and patiently waited for the email saying your order is ready. 5pm rolls around and still nothing which is strange because the website said itll be ready today. So I call and they say oh yeah I see your order now well have it ready in an hour. Sweet my wife heads down to pick up the first half after an hour passes. When she gets there the order still isnt ready. Over a half hour later they finally bring her order up.The next morning I head down there to pick up the other half and the pickup desk didnt have my order ready... Again. While looking up my order the cashier was interrupted mid sentence 2-3 times by a younger employee for non urgent things just adding to the lack of professionalism this store has emulates. After that she tells me your item can be found on aisle XX. Last I checked curbside pickup doesnt mean run inside and grab your items especially when its 800lbs of concrete and your already crunched for time. People use these services and expect a particular result when they dont have a ton of time for example.I shop at home improvement stores weekly and this was by far the worst experience Ive had to date.

We went for 2 items we have purchased before and you no longer carried either. We walked out with NOTHING.

Very good customer service! Didnt have some gardening items restocked, but thats what people do when stuck at home during a pandemic. Found 1 out if 3 items on my shopping list, though. Not my home location, but was in the area and thought it would save me a trip.

Finally the garden section is filled. Didnt have to go to Lowes instead.

Always find what i need for my projects at home and also they inspire me for new designs so i can improve the look of my home.

Misleading information given! I went to purchase 4 appliances on October 3, 2020. I asked specifically if credit will be given to me if the prices drop for Black Friday which started Nov. 4th. I was told yes, it will be adjusted. I called to have $350.00 credit since they price for 3 of them dropped. I was told they can only cancel order if it has not been delivered. The items were all delivered of course, and no price adjustments given. So DISSAPOINTED WITH HOME DEPOT! Might have to switch to Lowes for more honest employees! No need to lie to make $6,000.00 worth of sale and commission. Have I known this I would have waited for the Nov. 4th sale.! Home Depot & John Schneider -you guys suck!

Wow.. just wow! Owen helped us out in lighting and his customer service was above and beyond. We were looking for a new LED bulb for our kitchen. He recommended a bulb with new hardware and his recommendation was spot on. The simple bulb and hardware update made a huge difference in our kitchen. Well done Owen.

This place is always super busy its always takes little time to find someone to help you out. One thing that upset me was 5 shopping carts packed in Disabled Parking Space and I seen few employees just walk by them like nothing.

I had very good customer service here. Eric from the gardening department helped me cut a lot of little pieces of wood for centerpieces I was making and he did it fast and very professional. He had such a positive attitude and he went above and beyond on helping me. I really appreciate all that he did for me.

Has most of your home improvement needs. The grill dept was super helpful..checkung the website for the dimensions of the grill we needed a cover for. The paint dept is always swamped. Never have the spray paint I need...customer service is meh. They dont want to help and refer you back to the dept that is swamped. Room for improvement for sure. I had to go back 4x for the same item and ended up at a different store which was super helpful.
