Escape rooms were broken, lacking, and overpriced. Our group paid $25 dollar per person to do the Oh rats room, and that was with a discount. Normal quality rooms cost around $20, but this room was literally unplayable. 2-3 of the puzzles were broken and non completable as we played the room.We were offered a free play of their other room out of time as compensation. This room was much more fun, but the very last puzzle was broken, AGAIN.On top of that, we found the general atmosphere to be somewhat janky and Oh rats to be have mediocre and unclear puzzles. The rooms relied far to much on electronics that clearly were prone to breaking. The employees running the rooms apparently had no way of watching or tracking our progress in the rooms, had no way of delivering hints or messages unless we called their shop number from our cell phones, and didnt know the solutions to the rooms. Overall, this made the experience far to frustrating for the price paid. I would recommend these rooms if they were 15 dollars per person, BUT only if they werent broken.

Had a great experience here. We were helped by Bruce who offered a painting class to help my wife learn to paint miniatures. Wish we lived in the area so we could attend. The figures he showed us that he painted were really done well. If youre interested in learning to paint miniatures, hit Bruce up. Thanks for showing us the youtube painting videos as well! My wife really appreciated that.

They really turned this arcade around! My husband and our son spent $9 playing Jurassic Park because they loved it so much! Their card system is awesome! Its so much better and easier than carrying around a bunch of quarters! Oh and their justice league game gives you collecting cards after each game! We had the most fun weve ever had here tonight!

The arcade is getting better and the magic card or nerd side looks cool but the escape room struggles. There was technical difficulties and other issues with the room were prevalent. They didnt give our money back, so that sucked.

I love this place. Some reviewers seem to have had problems with the staff, but as a semi-frequent visitor, I have to say that the staff has always been amazing, helpful, and polite. It only helps that there is no shortage of things to do or buy. It’s a wonderful wing in our mall.

A strange and wonderful amorphous blob of a gamestore spread across several store locations off the west end of the mall.Theres sort of a big empty kiosk with boxes of magic cards and the register. Projectors above throw Dance-Dance Revolution/Guitar Hero style games down onto mats on the floor that serve as movie screens, leading to a sea of empty pool tables and a couple of huge wall sized Nintendo fighting games projected up on the back of the mall space. Off to the right hand side is a tiny video arcade full of aging Tekken games, claw machines and motorcycle racers. Then theres a second storefront full of a maze of pull-down matte paintings of various scenes that look like they might be for photography or used for LARP backdrops (we heard something about escape rooms...so maybe its that). The whole thing is very surreal. Then to the left theres what looks like the actual gamestore. Unlike the rest of the sprawl around it, this looks very ordered and appealing. Theres an impressive variety of gaming books: Pathfinder and 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons as youd expect but also a good selection of other game systems too. Very nice. They have a whole shelf of just D&D miniatures, booster boxes of the prepainted kind, and sets for the Dragon Wing wargame, but also something Id never seen, a licensed selection of official unpainted blister packs of miniatures connected by a theme--like familiars or clerics. I spent a lot of time perusing that area. On the opposite side was an impressive variety of wargaming minis and in the back was a wall full of boardgames, a nice selection of mostly good ones. The middle section was filled with game tables. The owners seemed to be a couple. We chatted with a woman for a while, and she seemed to know a lot and to be genuinely into the hobby and was excited about some of the upcoming products. The guy, not so much. He seemed gruff and businesslike and when we were ready to buy a big thirty dollars box of minis, we got the feeling we were pulling him away from what he was doing. My son was interested in the big screen video games (and there werent any other takers--it was howlingly empty) so I floated the idea of maybe rather than both of us renting a spot for $10 each, what if we took it for half an hour for both of us for $10--and he kind of stomped on us. No. It was clear it was only available by the hour. Well okay then. But on the whole the place is great, and really the idea that theres a misanthrope gamestore owner is kind of to be expected. The store really makes up for it and all the other stuff sprawling out into the mall is just frosting on top of a really good cake. Id check it out. Certainly compared with Pocatellos other gamestore offerings (which are pretty terrible) this seems like the one to support.
