Wonderful place to work if you do your job and do it well. Highly recommend it for anyone looking either full time or part time work! Students welcome! Makes a great job during the school year and theyre pretty flexible with time off and scheduling.

Delivery went ahead of schedule for me. My appointment was 7am. I spent the night there and they came and got me about 6:30, I was out of there and 7:10am nothing bad to say about my experience delivering there

Good place to deliver, appointment for 10:00am we got here at 20:00 the night before and was able to stay over night plenty of space, plus we was able to drop the trl and go to Walmart for some supplies that is only 5 miles down the road, coming in go into driveway that have a shipping and receiving sign outside by driveway also they receiving hours are 07:00 to 11:00 am, so dont try to deliver after 11:00 am most likely they wont take the load till next day

Loyal Customer for years. Now have family that worked in this sweatshop for 40+ hours and has never seen a check. Horrendous conditions to work in and they will not even compensate you for the hours worked.

The people here are very upbeat and friendly, and they sell very high quality products for any outdoor adventures you may have planned.. a bit of advise though, only work here if you are looking for a very fast paced job, where you are on your feet moving non stop, climbing stairs constantly etc.. because you will walk up to 20 miles in a work shift here! The benefits are excellent though, and the employees are very welcoming.

Parking overnight in and out

Find you dream job, WHAT A JOKE! But if you need a job just to pay for your drug then thats the place for you because you wont be there long enough to be full time. The management is a joke! They are hard core on their attendance policy as well! So if you have a runny nose and need to stay at home well you better have a doctors note when you return the next day. During seasonal, Oct-Jan, you get worked like a robots! Those days start as early as 4:30 am and can go till 5-6 in the evening. 6-7 days a week! Going to ANYONE and complaining is a BIG FAT NO-NO! They dont like drama or complaining! There is no work/life balance! Good luck is all I have to say!

Im sure many good people work here. However, the predatory trademark nonsense the company has engaged in is reprehensible. Im definitely boycotting their products until such time as a change is made at the top.

As a driver that picks up an drops off to this business my experience based on that.Temperature controlled building,big +Employees everyone is great.

Staff is quite unfriendly do not attempt to make deliveries here after 11 a.m. they will refuse a delivery and be quite unfriendly with you about it. Im back here again on Monday October 11th 2021 and yet again they have been unfriendly even when I got here before 11:00 a.m. really dislike coming here. There was a loading bay open right beside the one they wanted me to back up to FedEx was in that one though. They said I had to wait for FedEx even though theres nothing separating The bay doors inside the building. They can literally just carry the boxes one foot over from one bay door to another but no they said I had to wait for FedEx to move or carry them in the little receiving door to at a time.

My new belay device broke after three weeks, these guys were super responsive via chat and email and sent me another the next day. Impressed!

Pathetic excuse for a company. Suing other companies over a name that spans across much more than your small niche market. Absolute trash

Worst experience at an outdoor retailer. Jeff was of no help and actually recommended a woman’s size boot for a backpacking trip. I buy the pair and halfway trough the 2nd day I’m being told I’m wearing women’s shoes by my hiking buddies. Thanks a lot Jeff.

I have ordered from backcountry many times at this point. I am normally not one to take time aside to write a review, but my experience with backcountry has been nothing short of awesome. They are always helpful and provide great service. Free 2-day shipping is something I am used to from Amazon Prime, so finding it in an outdoor company is a big plus over REI or other retailers. Backcountry also runs frequent and large sales on a huge variety of items. The following experience prompted me to write this review. Today I placed an order. Within minutes I had a confirmation email, and within the hour my order had already shipped. The level of service backcountry provides stands above most other retailers in my opinion. I am a college student, and outdoor gear, specifically climbing gear, is not cheap. I tend to be a very savvy shopper, and backcountry will continue to get my money.

Horrible place, I went it aced the interview. But i had a background from 5 years ago. I made a mistake when I was young. But they didnt seem to care that I changed my life around, they where only worried about the past which was 5 years ago. I have 3years of experience in this line of work. Also the lady that intwerviews me was RUDE and didnt care where I was coming from....
