I could not be more dissatisfied with ordering online from Hot Topic. I placed an order on OCT 1. As of 2 weeks after placing my order, I still did not have any confirmation email or order number. I then contacted customer service myself and was finally able to get an order number. As of today - OCT 22 - my order has finally just shipped. I have yet to receive a single correspondence regarding my order from Hot Topic, other than the response I got from my customer service contact. I understand that COVID is delaying arrivals, however, there is absolutely no excuse for the complete lack of communications I have received. I will never order from Hot Topic again.

This is a great Hot Topic location!Lots of character merch and offbeat items for the discerning shopper.As I buy almost all of my shirts in Hot Topic, I can confirm they have a keen selection.

Friendly helpful staff

I havent been in Hot Topic for almost a year now. When I got to the front door of the store I couldnt believe the changes I seen! I thought to myself WAM is this HT?! The entrance was clean, organized and welcoming! The staff was also very pleasant and welcoming....

If I were writing this review 10 years ago, it would be a 5 star review, but since they no longer sell Tripp pants in store, and it seems like all they have are skinny jeans for dudes built like toothpicks, and a lot of the awesome selection of a decade ago is no more, I have to give 3 stars, and that is only because the staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me and I also have found some really great deals in there as well.

There is this wonderfully fantastic person named Erica who works there and every single time I go in she helps me find exactly what I am looking for. Today though today was special there is this dress I have been looking at for almost two years that I just couldnt bring myself to buy, one because they never had it in my size in store and another because it was like $60. I walked in and she does her normal greeting, asks if I am looking for anything specific I tell her, she shows me and then goes hold on You might like this, as she holds up this dream dress, it just went on clearance and it is our last one. I blow it off and Im like I have tried it on and the largest that has been in stores doesnt fit and then she talks me into trying this one on. IT FIT. TWO YEARS of looking at this dress and pineing after it. It was 50% off and I just got a bonus with my new job so I decided it was meant to be! BUT THEN she continued to ask if there was anything else I had been looking for or had questions about and I told her one thing after another that she magically managed to find for me. One of them being the Supernatural day shirt that basically had instantly been sold out that I wanted to get for my mom that somehow she had one 2xl left! I am Convinced this woman is a magical being. Thank you Erica for all the joy you have brought me.

This particular hot topic is good. Unfortunately I with most brick and mortar locations now a days if theres something particular you want, youre gonna get it online. Though I do like how often they got neat sales to make ya wanna grab something extra.

It was great. The buy 2 get 1 free is amazing, but there were not many options of hoodies that I was looking for. But overall it was a great visit.

I take my teenagers to shop here. The store has some good sales from time to time. T shirts are cool but a little pricey.

They have merch for almost everything. They have all kinds of things. They are really fast and have some merch of older shows too.

They have a employe that is very helpful and did great she went above and beyond!

Staff is always nice. Theyve been getting less and less relevant to my aging punky goth self. But I think thats on me and not them. They still carry cute clothes, fun accessories, and artic fox hair dye.

In store we had 2 mangers try to help the girl at the register find a email addresses after being here multiple time and putting in the same email they say they cant find it simply because she couldnt type it in right then after talking and trying to get this to work we finally say we didnt want to give an email even though we have an account with our email then we go to pay ... Our credit card was working all day in a lot of many different stores for school shopping they say it doesnt work and tell us to walk to the ATM across the mall ... The lady insisted it was our card so we went to a different store and asked them to swipe instead of the chip to see if it was the card.... It worked completely fine and after being rude about asking them to try again we didnt purchased anything even tho we sat there for almost half an hour and i under stand this isnt their fault but the rude customer service wasnt needed after being so nice and so patient

Its hot topic so you kind of now what youre getting. However here are some pros and cons of todays visit.Pros:- staff is super friendly- tons of niche merch thats right up some folks alleys.- great selection of t-shirts- the go to anti Claires store.Cons:- staff was friendly but one of them greeted us 3 different times like we had just walked in.- I remember when they used to have a better wallet and accessory selection.Thats it. Its hot topic not better than the rest... Just a store conformed so unconformists can unconform :-)

One of my FAVORITE stores! Thats saying a lot b/c I can count on one hand, the stores that I like in Christiansburg,VA! ♥️ Plus, I rarely give out 5⭐ for anything. This store allows me to shop for my three teens, that are all into different things, and myself! Ever so often, Ill think of the hubby and grab a tee 😂 Ive, even, bought my dads favorite Tee from here (it was of The Beatles 🎵). The store has a great atmosphere and the staff rock 🤘 Love the management to the team! They deserve more mention online esp on Social media platforms. I dont know what wed do if the shop ever disappeared! I wish it were in a larger room, though. Theres soooo much merch and can get elbow to elbow. They are up-to-date with Pop culture and so on...from clothing,shoes, Jewelry, patches, Funko products ♥️, Anime, and so on. When they have sales--you can walk out with so many goodies for such a great price!!! GO CHECK THEM OUT!!

The girl who checked us out her name was Courtney was very very rude and ugly tored me and my grandma all because it took her a sec to get her money out.And then she was being rude because she kept typing my email in wrong ...I will never shop at this hottopic again as long as the rude girl is working .
