I couldnt have asked for a better experience in buying a car as I did last Friday 11/23/18. After having a deer total my 2014 car, I knew it would be a little complicated in trying to get a new one. There was the insurance company, the bank and of course the payoff. Well Joshua along with his superiors made the transition go as smoothly as it could possibly go. They made me feel relaxed through the whole process. They knew what I wanted and knew what I was up against and made it happen with no pressure what so ever.Joshua did a tremendous job and was very professional as well as being outgoing to me. Chad was also very knowledgeable and made me aware of other things that I should be aware of. I commend these guys and this dealership. Again I will say, it was the best experience I have ever had when buying a car. Thank you to all of them. Excellent.Of course my first stop was to get a coffee milkshake from DQ :).
Lied about trying to replicate what I was saying it was doing kinda hard to do when the odometer didnt change but the problem requires the car to be driven. Still charged me to diagnose a.problem that didnt exist.
Josh and Justin were both my salesman and were extremely polite, professional, and there was no pressure to buy. They found the exact car I desired 300 + miles away and had it to their dealership within a week. I have not had a car buying experience as pleasurable as this was.
I am forever pleased with Shelor Chevrolet. I brought my first brand new car from them 2017 Chevy Cruze LS. The process was smooth as butter. I think we completed the purchase in about 2 hours. All the salesmen were very helpful and I got be the best deal around town. The rebates was awesome. When I pulled off the lot I felt like i made an awesome choice. We started our car buying journey working with Jorge Costa at Shelor Toyota. He is outstanding! Ultimately though, we decided on a new Chevy Tahoe. Jorge made the arrangements to hold the vehicle, introduced us to Chevy certified specialist Roger Cole, and stayed (at our request) with us throughout the process. Roger was very professional in helping us negotiate the deal we were looking for and was excellent in providing an introduction to the many new features available on this Tahoe.This was a best practice display of cross-brand dealership collaboration in action. Truly one of the best car purchase experience we have had in 35+ years!

Josh Roop at the Pulaski office was very helpful. He was easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted. He worked diligently to get everything done for me in my time frame. He showed compassion for his work and myself. While waiting on each step to be processed he made sure that I was comfortable and kept me updated on what was going on. I was able to complete the process in Christiansburg with, Roger Cole who was also very nice and courteous. He also made sure we were pleased with our purchase. He was helpful in showing us how to connect to the infotainment system. We were given his business card and he wanted us to know we could call with any questions we had after arriving home with our new Chevy. I was very pleased at both places and both salesmen.
The people at the service center are nice. However, informing the customer of more detail and really taking the time to find issues lacks. I was quote a big amount to get a oil pan changed. I didnt have the money. I went to get a second opinion and found out the oil pan is not the issue. Im glad I didnt pay all that money.
After multiple trips in, and multiple expenditures, my drivers side window is still broken. I find it alarming that the customer service representative (Casey) assigned to me has yet to return my calls from days ago. I feel as if I were treated as a source of revenue rather than a valued customer. It kind of hurts after buying multiple vehicles from Shelor and referring others to Shelor to purchase vehicles. They get one star strictly because zero wasnt an option.
The vehicle was in and out in one day. Thank you for being efficient. The work was completed with success and is running 100 times better.
I went in looking for a new 2500 Chevy Pick-up and was introduced to Justin Clearfield and this young man was amazing. A couple of hours later I went away from there with the most fantastic truck, a 2019 2500 Alaskan Edition Crew Cab Long Bed, and this thing is a Beast. I would like to Thank Justin for all he did.

I dropped off a 2004 Envoy for inspection and service and the service experience was A#1 ... from the time i got there till the time i picked it up, communications was excellent, service was detailed and explained ... they were most patient with an old woman... the thing runs great ... the mechanic needs a hug round their neck .... bless their heart...

Been buying from Mark Mullins since our family moved here in 2004. Our first purchase was 2 Ford F150 Crew Cabs in Sept 2004. Our Family always tries to buy from Shelor mostly because of the the customer service. Mark calls and checks up months and years later just to see how everything is going and say hi. This van that I just purchased was a team effort with Mark Mullins and Andy Anderson. These 2 guys work together like a well oiled machine. You could not ask for a better buying experience.

I came in for an oil change, tires rotation and one of my tires been leaking air for a while but the last two times I came in they said they couldnt find anything but it started leaking more frequently so I told them it had to be a hole somewhere in my tire. I left the premises for almost 3 hours and they were still not finish with my vehicle. They called to inform that I need new tires because mine are almost worn out and the tire that was leaking air can not be patched. When I got back I asked them did they put air in my leaking tire and did they rotate my tires? They told me, yes. I also asked about getting tires from here and wanted to get bigger tires and rims but it took them forever to check on that. After waiting 30 minutes or more for that I told them dont worry about it, but the guy name Casey told me he was still going to check and give me a call. Afterwards, I got inside of my vehicle I checked my tire psi and they did not rotate my tires nor put air in the one thats leaking. I knew they did not rotate them because my leaking tire was still on the same wheel axle. I took it back to the facility and asked what happen and some how Casey got confused on what they did to my vehicle. At that moment I was extremely frustrated because if you not sure on something you need to verify and check with your coworkers! They told me they did not rotate my tires because of the leaking one and that was fine and they did put air in my leaking tire. Lastly, as I was leaving I asked Casey were he still looking for those tires and was going to give me a call? He specifically told me, I dont wanna put time in this and you are not going to get them. That is not a way you treat customer and he dont know what I was going to buy!

My recent experience was not great at all. I had my car not start at all and then it was fixed for about a week and a half and now it will not start again so now I’m back to paying for shelor to tow it again and paying for something else that could of been figured out the first time.

For the past nearly year and a half since I purchased my Camaro, I have always gotten the Synthetic oil change with tire rotation and top of all included under one price. The service team has always provided me with a coupon so that I can receive the special seeing I have been a customer for the past 5 years. On Saturday when I took in my car for its schedule oil change, I was charge for every item separately including a $5 charge for a recall check that it completely unnecessary as if there were any recalls I would have been informed by GM directly. What was the need for the $5 charge??? I have never in all the time that I have been bringing my car in for service have ever had my bill come out to be $105. Now while I was informed that I needed a filter change as per the technician, I was expecting my bill to be at the maximum $75 and not the $105 that it was. I am completely disappointed that my latest experience was one where I felt I was taken advantage of and not treated with respect as I have been in the past. I was treated as a customer that can be had.
I bought a GMC Yukon in March 2018. Two days after buying the Yukon, I had to replace the windshield wipers. Two weeks and one day, I had the Yukon back in for a taillight issue. When purchasing the Yukon, we were told to take out the gap (extra) insurance for issues like these. Not only the short amount of time of owning the vehicle for little over two weeks, I had two separate issues that would not pass Virginia inspection. However, there was a current Virginia inspection on the vehicle. I had to pay out of pocket $350. for a taillight. I am very dissatisfied with Shelor service and warranty.
The salesman that I worked with told me that the vehicle that I purchased had certain features. After leaving the lot after being there for 8+ hours I found out that it did not have them. I also did not get an overview of the cars features before I left the lot, which would have prevented this situation. He also told me that he put rear floor mats in the trunk and they were not there. I was misinformed, but when I called to resolve the problem no one would own up to their mistake, instead they tried to make me out to be a liar. This left me upset and angry, and although I still wanted to purchase a new Chevy Cruze, I did not want to do it with Shelor. I have returned the vehicle, but I am not satisfied with the way I was treated by the salesman, (Patrick Fountain), the sales manager, (Jason), and David Hagan.
People were friendly, I was treated with respect and my oil change was done in a timely manner for what I considered a fair price, thank you.

Went to get oil change and inspection. To pass inspection I had to get new tires. But when care came back it did not have an inspection sticker on the windshield nor did they change out the oil change sticker just seemed to be very sloppy When they did put the new oil change sticker on all they did was just put a month on their no mileage. and took about 15 minutes to get the inspection sticker.. Again just seem sloppy and no attention to detials
Took my truck in for an oil change at 10 till 6. They assured me it would be done in less than an hour. I left there at 8:30. They close at 7. Not sure that Id go back
