I cracked my laptop screen in the middle of finals last semester. It was the middle of the strictist phase of the pandemic, this small shop helped me get a new screen for my laptop. Was calling around looking for a place that would help me with my gaming pc I had built the night before that wasn’t booting for some reason. After calling about 3 other places that either gave a ridiculous quote just to diagnose it, or just ask a lot of questions that I didn’t have the answer to (first time building a custom pc) then I called this place and they knew exactly what was the situation without me having explain anything at all really. My laptop was heating up so I went to my neighborhood Chino Computer Repair Service. I met Ryan and explained him the problem I was having. Fixed my laptop! I cracked my screen by trying to close it with a pencil inside. Price and time-frame was stated before I left my laptop. Service was quick and he called when it was ready to pick up.

I somewhat self destructed some of the operating software in my laptop. I did a google search and Chino Computer Repair seemed to be at the top of the list even though we have a place less than a block away. I called and explained the problem and was assured he could fix it. I dropped it off in the afternoon and he called a few hours later and had it finished. The charging port was lose on my laptop, i dropped it off and was told it was going to be 125 for the charging repair. He said: the part order fee will be $25 (indeed the part less $10), normal, the labor fee around $30, over charge a lots. His service attitude is extremely bad and his character is poor.

Ryhan is honest and his expertise is awesome! I spilled a huge cup of water all over my laptop last week and it somehow managed to come back to life, except it wasnt charging! I brought it to Ryhan and he pretty much told I was super lucky that nothing more drastic had happened. He cleaned up my laptop and was honest about everything that he did with the laptop. Awesome work!! I took my MacBook to this place not knowing what to expect and wow did they do a good job. Of course I did my review searching and chose this place. Anyhow I went in to drop it off expecting to pick it up in a few days but nope!!! 5 minutes after I dropped it off the front desk guy ( didnt catch his name but has long hair) called me back saying the internal cord needed to be replaced. I dropped off my computer with this place. The part where the power cord plugged in was loose and they were supposed to fix it.I had a friend pick up my computer and they accidentally gave him some wires that were supposed to go to someone elses computer. It wasnt loose anymore, but it no longer worked at all.Before I even contacted them to complain, I got a call from a detective who was told that he was investigating theft based on the wiring they gave to my friend.Of course he realized how stupid the whole thing was when I explained it and just requested we bring the wiring back, which we did. I was still charged the full price for the repairs.I really couldnt believe that I paid money for my computer to be damaged and for an attempted criminal complaint against me for this places negligence.

Im rating 5 stars because Rhyan earned it. From the beginning to the end...he was courteous, took the time to listen and learned about my MacBook (late 2009) issues, and said he can fix it! And, he did withOUT upselling. In fact, he advised me NOT to spend more based on learning about how I used my MacBook. I would highly recommend Rhyan and his services. Disclosure: I have no direct relationship with the business or being paid for this review...I just found him on the internet.

The charging port was lose on my laptop, i dropped it off and was told it was going to be 125 for the charging repair.I get called back two days later and was told that it was my motherboard that was the problem which didnt make any sense. I was using the computer without any performance issues. He then tells me it will be 250 for the repair.I than decide to purchase another computer.I take my computer home and i couldnt turn it on.I call the company and he tells me he was having the same issue.I then ask him to leave my computer in the condition i dropped it off in. I gave it to him in a functioning state. My motherboard had no issues until it was handled by them.He then tells me hes gonna fix the issues (charging port and motherboard). I drop it off the next day.Took over a week to get it back.I take it home. My charging port is in the same condition. I still struggle to charge it. The computer is soooo slow now. Its hard to load a youtube.The good motherboard that was pulled out of my laptop was replace with a very low quality motherboard. It take a long time to load anything.I dont have any intentions of taking it back for further repair.I was offered a credit of $60 if i turned in my computer. I would much rather trash it or give it away than get a credit of 60.
