Needed a deadbolt for my front door. The kind staff pointed me to the lock area. When I got there a nice young man directed me to the selection. I mentioned that it was for a manufactured home and he changed direction and stated that manufactured homes have different specs. We went to the back side of the shelf I was looking at and he handed me the one for my home. Got home and it was a perfect fit! I am very grateful for his knowledge and very professional staff here!

I came up from PV to get some rail road ties. They had the crookedest most unusable ones on the top of the stack and said I MUST buy those first before I could get to the better ones beneath. I’m not too picky, and needed about a dozen. If there would be 2 decent sides I’d be happy, but the ones on top didn’t have 1 good side. Nevertheless, I would need to buy the crooked ones at full price to get a few regular ones. I understand that not all ties are perfect, but please don’t force potential customers to buy junk!

You can pay less if your drive to home depo but you definitely wont get the level of service you get here.They have what you need and are local to the Chino Valley area so the convience is great. Has an old school hardware store feel with a great selection.Lumber, screws tools and advice they have it all. Im very glad they are in business and will continue to shop here for home improvement supplies.4 stars because you do pay more than at other more box home stores.

After having a really BAD day at the box stores in the quad city area....I remembered that A2Z in Chino Valley ....recently remodeled and under new ownership was making a real effort to compete by handling most everything you can possibly need. Desperate and exhausted I called and was reassured by Jim Morris that they did in fact have everything on my rather extensive list. I copied the list to Jim and by the time I got there from Prescott....even though they were busy....he had just about everything gathered up and ready to go. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. The owner Jeff Van Well came out and made sure I had everything that I needed.The guys out back loaded the heavy stuff and were very polite and helpful. Great locally owned business. The people are so nice and they have almost everything I need. If they don’t have something, they will order it for you.

For a small town this place has almost everything someone would need for general repairs and routine home upkeep. I also find the staff to be very helpful and at times more knowledgeable than the bigger box store employees. Pricing is easy to overcome when service is included in the cost. Thanks for the hard work.
