Great vibe in a fairly large coffee shop..as far as coffee shops go. Beware of the mixed berry pop tart….major sugar buzz.

Best coffee in Chillicothe. They have a great space. The vibe is industry meets casual. The staff are friendly. I personally love the Avocado and Toast for breakfast (make sure you get the breakfast sauce). Their Lattes are on point, and I think the vanilla is the best one.The bonus with this place is that they have three great stores inside their building so you can have lunch and shop all at the same time.

My wife and I heard that one of our favorite baristas was working at Rost, so we decided to stop in to check it out on our way to the Pumpkin Show. It has such an open and neat vibe about it, lots of seating available for everyone from the I like hard chair people to the I want a comfy couch folks. The coffee was awesome, artwork on it was beautiful, the pumpkin muffin was AWESOME and we had a wonderful time. We will most definitely be back!

Despite what outsiders may say, there is a lot more to Chillicothe than what people realize. I first stopped at Rost when it was over by Totem, but hadnt been to the new location yet. It is located inside the Fort Collective, which is the collection of boutiques selling merchandise. It was really cool inside. I ordered a Goldie Hawn and it was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Not my type of typical place. But it is clean and does appear to have a lot of business so it must be pretty good. Bathrooms are nice and clean

Great atmosphere. Also, really like the three stores that you have access to. Very cool idea. I think every city should have a place like this.

Nice place, great decor, cashier was a little aloof, but chalk it up to being young. However I had to remind staff about my smoothie as it took 15 minutes to get it, a little slow. Other wise not a bad place to meet.

My go to coffee shop going through Chillicothe. Great and attentive staff, phenomenal Americano. The crema was thick and fully covered the surface. Bold but still very smooth. Great baked goods. Really nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating in a chill co-op vibe setting with clothing stores all around. The only way it could be better is to be closer to the highway, but Im sure the locals love it where it is.Keep doing what youre doing, Rost!

Coffee is very simply good coffee, if you like coffee then youll like this.Do not sleep on the power bowls, one of the best meals Ive had in Chillicothe.

Our coffee tasted awful. Neither of us were pleased with our coffee. We werent offered a napkin, and none were out for customers to use. Very overpriced.

This is the hot chocolate we got for the kid, fancy. The coffee is good 👍 and the kid drank all the hot coco! Friendly, helpful service with a cool, light atmosphere. The bike guys were informative as well. A few patrons were working on laptops at tables, enough sitting space for the purpose but its not exactly coffee shop.

I drive an hour and a half to get to Rost and I do it frequently. The coffee and the atmosphere are worth the trip. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their coffee; I’ve never asked a question they can’t answer. Pictured here is the creme-bru-tado. I’m not sure if it’s made it on the permanent menu yet, but fingers crossed that it does. That caramelized sugar though. 😍

Great Coffee got the Goldie Hawn and Brown Butter and both were excellent also ordered the Affagato which is Ice Cream and Espresso and it was absolutely amazing definitely will be going back

Great atmosphere! Some of my favorite coffee, Brazil roast is so good. First time eating there, got the Everything Bagel Sandwich which was very tasty. Got a bag of Brazil to go.

Ive been to Rōst three times so far and Ive got to say, Im hooked! The service is very good -- welcoming, efficient, pleasant!! The quality of the coffee and treats are consistently out of this world! I think that Rōst is the best coffee shop in Ohio hands down. I would put it in the same class as many of the hip coffee shop staples that you would find in downtown Asheville, NC -- has the same Asheville vibe and attention to detail, quality and ingredients. Rōst blows places like Staufs and Fox in the Snow (in Columbus) right out of the water. Im thoroughly impressed! If you want high quality, REAL coffee and treats you wont go wrong with Rōst -- worth every penny!!

We waited for over an hour for the food we ordered, despite being told it would take 30 minutes. When it finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. We wont be back.

My wife and I were in Chillicothe (her hometown) celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. We had heard Chillicothe was revamping their downtown and that Rost was one of the places that we must stop in at. It did not disappoint! The waffle, trail mix cookie (vegan and GF), coffee, staff, and atmosphere was all amazing! We even got to speak with the owner who was very welcoming. I read all the reviews (the bad ones seem to be from an entitled perspective that is unbalanced). Make sure you try it for yourself. We will be making this stop each time we are in Chillicothe!

While wandering the forests on our Ohio TuesDayTrips First Fall Foliage tour, a need for coffee arose. We drove out of the woods to Chillicothe and found Rōst Coffee. We purchased cups of coffee and some chocolate chip cookies the size of manhole covers. They were delish.It was relaxing to sit out on their patio basking in the sunshine, sipping coffee and laughing as we relaxed together.

We decided to stop in here during a road trip after an impromptu visit to Chillicothe (pronounced - chill-ee-coth-ee). We ordered a cortado and black iced tea to sip while we walked around town and both were good. The service was friendly and efficient, the food/sandwiches we saw looked quite good (we didnt dine), and the facilities were clean. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and tables are spaced out well. The local places like this are a nice alternative to the national chains.

Been drinking coffee for over 10 years. Been to countless coffee shops and roasters as I travel a lot for work. Hands down the best coffee I have ever had. So smooth and such good flavor. Never thought I would find such good coffee in Chillicothe!

I just had the Saturday Waffles, they were delish! 😋 Ive also enjoyed the Avocado Toast before and the food is always fresh and tasty. Customer service is wonderful, warm and inviting ♥️ The coffee is REALLY good too even tho I can only have the decaf!! ✨

This place is amazing the scenery is nice. A place for gathering of your friends, studying, and peaceful. The employees are awesome. Lots of smiles and definitely a place that they will see me again. Coffee is wonderful!

I love this place. We come as a family. They had a great play area active before covid. It is now closed they did add some outside seating. Its great atmosphere great food and worth every penny.

What a delightful place.We were traveling through the area and was needing a coffee stop and found this one.The place looks small on the outside but opens up to a wonderful space inside and a neat gift shop as well. The baristas were pleasant and the lady at the gift shop was so friendly and nowadays, everyone masked up and tensed up, it was a welcome sight.

Its the whole vibe for me... Its a great place to sit and do homework... Hang with friends... Or even just sit and think.

This place is awesome! I had the waffle, which was delicious (and the cinnamon whipped cream was really unique). But what really made my day was the Goldie Hawn latte!

This place was awesome. I got a large latte and it was super delicious. My wife got and iced tea and it, too, was really good. Also, they offer giant chocolate chip cookies, plus a few other things that you can order for breakfast to go with your coffee. I got a thing (cant remember what they call it) that looks like an over-stuffed pop tart, filled with eggs, bacon, ham, and cheese, and it was really tasty. So yeah, if Im ever passing through Chillicothe again, I will most definitely stop into this place for a coffee. You should, too!
