When my wife seen the K5 in the Wolf Gray paint she fell in love right then. It took a few weeks to get the model with all the options she wanted but it was worth the wait. And when she saw the red interior, well she couldnt be happier. As always great service and our salesman Brody answered all our questions and spent over an hour showing her all the options and setting up the UVO linkband making her comfortable with all its features. The salesman I worked with was very nice and helpful. He wasnt pushy or anything; he listened to what I had to say. He provided information he had, and he didnt lie or just try to make something sound good. If I asked a question he didnt know, then he went to find someone who did know to find out rather than just telling me the answer he knew I wanted to hear. The whole experience was very relaxed ans low pressure. The sales staff was very accommodating to any concerns I had. It was hours past hours for their service department when I was there, but one of the salesmen took the car I was looking at back and adjusted the headlights for me even before I decided to take the car. I did end up purchasing the car from them, and I am very happy with it and the experience as a whole.

Even though they didnt have that particular vehicle, on the lot, Mark DiSantis, promised he could find what I was looking for. He called me the next day and told me I could come in and check out my new mini van. We loved it and it was exactly what I wanted, down to the color and features. Weve already taken our new 2016 Dodge Caravan on our first family vacation and it was wonderful!! Plenty of space for luggage and still room to relax, on a long road trip! Our kids loved having the built in DVD player and headphones, for the trip! I would definitely buy from Herrnstein in the future!
My budget is small (> $5,000) and I found a Kia Rio within that range that I was interested in and went to go test drive. I found that it had no power steering and no AC, two things that were CLEARLY listed in its online auto report AND on the physical report taped to the car window. Its not difficult to know whether a car in your lot has either of those things. The staff were friendly, but the experience, disappointing.

Come to find out Rich is also a Ram Truck Expert and from my understanding theres not a lot of those at Dealerships. Wow where do I start? I took my truck in at 9am this morning for my appointment to find out what was wrong with my transmission. I gave them a very detailed description of what my truck was doing and what I thought the problem may be and gave them a good place to start. They didnt get back in touch with me until around 3pm which was already way longer than I expected since it was supposed to just be a simple diagnostic. They told me that they had no idea what was wrong with it. I explained to them that I felt that it may be the transmission temp sensor. They then didnt call me till almost 6pm stating that they still had no clue what was wrong with my transmission and that I was petty much out of luck, but they could change out my transmission solenoids for over $800 even tho they werent sure that that was even the problem. It was at this point that I realized that these people had absolutely no clue what they were talking about and that I would not let them work on my truck. I went to pick up my vehicle and when I did I realized that the technician had ripped my lanyard that I keep my keys on during the process. So moral of the story, I paid over $100 to leave my truck at Herrnsteins for almost 9 hours to people who had no clue what they were doing. In the end they just tried to scam me out of $900 without even the guarantee that my truck would be fixed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Were do I start my truck stopped working II needed to replace the sterring column so I called Herrnstein they said that once I did that I would need to bring the truck in to have it programmed to the computer and it would cost $50.00 since the truck wouldnt start I had to tow it in the next day I get a call and they said that they neededmy old control module from the other column that was taken down to them then theysaid I need a new key which cost $80.00 after that they called and said it was in theft mode and they couldnt get it out they needed another $250.00 to check the electrical system out then they didnt find anything wrong so I was charged for labor then they called and said they tracked it back to my fuel pump and they said that was the problem to start with at this point I have already been charged $640.00 then they said to fix the fuel pump they would need another $638.00 at that point I was tapped out and all I got for my money was a new key for $640.00 I told them to put my car outside I was coming to get at which time I had to tow it back home. We asked them to explain what the charges were for but we could not a get a honest answer all they said was they did a lot of guessing I could of done that myself and got better results as a matter of fact I worked on the truck and it is now running cost me $32.00 to fix itwhat a scam this dealership is running DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY YOU WILL BRING YOUR CAR BACK THE WAY YOU TOOK IT IN.
I recently took a truck I bought (not from Herrnsteins) to Herrnstein Chrylser for repair. I cant say enough about how they treated me and how detail oriented the process was. I know for a fact my next vehicle purchase will be from Herrnsteins and I am upset I did not buy from them sooner! Class act dealership.

We traded our van in for another Chrysler Town n Country. Salesman or financial officer put down my husband made $2800 more than he does just for the sell!!!!!!! Thats not even legal according to the bank manager!!! Not only did we end up losing the new van, but we also gave them our other van as trade-in, so now we have nothing to drive, and my husband is a handicapped veteran with no way to get to appointments. I guess anything for a sale :(
Im going on my 8th hour sitting here for a problem that was not brought to my attention before I bought the vehicle. I got a full diagnostics at another location showing that i need a new radiator. Ive only had this vehicle for a month, spent 18,000 dollars on it. If i could put no stars I would. 8 hours later after driving an hour to the dealership I am still sitting here waiting. They tried to send me home 2 hours ago saying there was nothing wrong with the radiator which is total b.s because i have the full report. I called the manager who told me to come back. This is such an inconvenience. Dont go here, go to a different location. Its not worth it. Missed a whole day of work. If they dont fix it, Im pretty sure I have a lawsuit in my hands.
The sales department is great, but the service department is lacking.Constantly overbooked, wont answer the phone, and long turn around times.Manager does not handle issues well and approaches every complaint as a customer problem and not an issue with the staff. I was offered a free tank of gas if I return. No thanks.
I went in to buy a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Jl, new. My sales guy was Jared and I had worked with him in the past and hes pretty nice overall. So we were trying to figure out numbers and I had another dealership offering more for my trade in(a two thousand dollar difference) and so I was trying to negotiate with them and work something out where the numbers would be similar. He got a senior sales rep involved and thats where it went south. The guy was beyond rude and pushy and acted like he didnt care about my business what-so-ever. He did find me the Jeep I wanted and we were pretty close to the price I wanted to be, so I was thinking about it, because its a big commitment and Jeeps are pricey. I also asked where the Jeep was coming from(it wasnt from their dealer or lots) and he absolutely refused to show or tell me where it was from even though I had no intentions of going to another dealership. The senior sales rep continued to be rude and then stated the deal was on the table for 3 minutes and at that point I was just done with his rudeness so I said were done and I left. If Jared had been the only sales guy involved and not had gotten the rude guy involved, he wouldve sold me a car last night. Pretty disappointed with how a senior sales rep treats customers.Update: Thanks for your reply, only took you two years...I hope in the span of the last two years your services have improved and hopefully your employees have learned better customer service skills.
I purchased a 09 Ford Expedition for herrnstein. Initially I was frustrated over the truck having some engine problems, I brought these concerns to the attention of Tom Buck at Herrnstein (dont remember his title) he worked diligently to make my experience have a pleasant ending. He had my truck repaired and is in the process of helping me purchase an extended warranty. I love my new truck and this will help give me comfort in any problems I might have in the future. I made an oversight in not purchasing an extended warranty when buying the truck, but he is working with me to correct this issue.

I called and received an appointment for a special service. The lady confirmed the service and even told me how much I would be charged. I show up and she says their computers have been having trouble connecting to the server to perform the flash on the computer. So a few minutes later some guy asks me to take a ride with him in my Jeep. He says they don’t perform this service (so why are we riding around in my Jeep?). So I come back and sit around some more. Finally I go to the desk and tell the lady, “I have to leave. It’s been 1.5 hours and the guy says he can’t even do the service you confirmed that you would do”.She tells me that Jeep doesn’t do this service (so why did you give me an appointment and quote me a price?). Everyone that buys a wrangler puts larger tires on them and the computer needs calibrated. She says maybe some dealerships do this as a courtesy. But Jeep doesn’t do that service and then she tells me that my Mopar lift voids my warranty. I told her all my friends went to dealerships to get this service done and I’ve even been with them. She asked me “yeah but we’re you back there with the service tech?” Cmon. On the wrangler forums there are hundreds of people sharing information about going to dealerships to get the computer calibrated for larger tires. Hundreds!A Mopar lift doesn’t void any warranty. I think they were ambarrassed that they scheduled a service that they didn’t know how to do so they basically made up a bunch of fibs. She said maybe dealerships can do it in Columbus. Like Columbus is in another country or something.So I took off work and drove down to Chillicothe to waste my time. Not the first time I’ve went to this place for service and no one new how to use the computers. I took a Jeep there for a recall and all they could manage to do was turn off the abs brakes. And then they wanted to give me a minivan to drive and come back in a few days. Then they wanted charge me for labor! Labor for a safety recall.Save your time, go to a real dealership. Even if you have to drive. I will never enter this house of clowns again

I found out about 3 recalls my Jeep Liberty had. I call service dept to see if this was true. This was on a Tuesday. Set up for Jeep to be dropped off Thursday evening for Friday appointment. MISTAKE.. it went in shop Friday morning, they took front end apart (lower Ball Joints recall). I WAS told it would be done 2:30 - 3:00 SAME DAY...3:00 or 3:30 I called, He is test driving it now. COOL!! 5:00 pm rolled around, no call. I called sales, all that was in, to find out what was going on. parts wont be in till Saturday morning. Mistake #2. Saturday, 3:00 pm rolls around, still no call. Now they talking about Tuesday or Wensday over a 1 day job. Tried to get a loaner car, no. Im getting the bank involved in this. More theirs than mine.. Lets see what happens...

Melody really went the extra distance in getting me in to my next vehicle.After an extensive online search, I came across a vehicle in Herrnsteins inventory that caught my eye. The only problem was my location in Warsaw, IN put the car 260 miles away. Melody took this in stride through communicating effectively without utilizing any of the typical sales tricks.I arrived for my test drive to find the vehicle parked front and center. It even had a sold tag with my name on it. A subliminal sales ploy, maybe, but it made me smile.Melody suggested a test drive route that allowed me to experience the vehicle in the beautiful southern Ohio countryside. Had my truck in there to be serviced because I bought a truck from the hernstein hyundai used store and they were to fix a boost leak. I asked them to program keys to truck (didnt have remotes). I told them it could be done if they followed the EXACT process I had gotten online. The lady took a quick look and said she would try it but I would have to pay if it didnt work. After sitting there for 3 hours just to get keys programmed she told me it could not be done and that it would require too much and be way too much. So I payed them. Went to bobb Boyd in Lancaster, Ohio and gave them the directions and they had it done and working within 30 minutes. I knew when my buddy told me he had issues here I shouldnt of even tried. They just want to take your money!
