Everyone was very helpful while I was there. When I got home and tried to put it together the lamp that I bought, I found that two pieces were missing. Trying to call the lighting department about the issue, I got nothing but a busy signal and left a message 2 days ago and havent heard anything back since very upsetting as in the meantime I have fallen and hurt myself outside and cannot put the lamp and packaging back in the car and come down there with it. Im 75 years old and not able to do much of that kind of thing on my own. I wish I would hear back from someone and they would be able to help me get the parts that I need to finish putting the lamp together.

Menards is a pretty decent home repair store in the area that kind of doubles as a mostly shelf stable grocery store and has a few department store type offerings. Occasionally you can find rare parts or great deals. The best deals usually involve mail in rebates, unfortunately. You wont always find every piece of hardware you might need here, but its a great general local source for hardware and home repair items.

This is an awesome store it is kind of like Lowes if you are looking to do renovations. Their prices are decent and they also sell outdoor and indoor decorations. They also have groceries and cleaning items if you browse around. Very nice selection of styles to update your outdated homes or rentals! 🌐🏢🏡

This store seems to have some of the best selections around compared to other stores. Its laid out nicely and is more organized than Lowes making it easier to navigate when youre in a hurry looking for something you need on a project. Its also easier to push a wide load cart thru the store since they keep the isles nice and wide. Overall, its usually my first choice when shopping for a new project.

Good folks who try very hard. Unfortunately, my order was not complete after waiting over s month. They had to reorder... but they were very friendly and helpful.

We went in to Menards and had the worst experience Ive ever had there. We wanted to purchase a couch, so we walked around for about 15 minutes trying to get some help. Finally we get help, they get it from the warehouse and have it up front. They come and tell us. Checking out my husband goes and gets the truck, I tell the cashier thay I can go ahead and pay because she was staring at me awkwardly. Shes like uhh the couch is in the way of the card machine. I told her she shouldve said something and I would try to move it. She picked up her cellphone and began texting. After I pay of course we headed out with the couch on the cart.... some other customers were out there and they asked us if they are sending anyone out to help us load it and I said no they were rude and no help at all tonight, they had the same experience. Bless the two guys hearts who helped my husband load the couch because that wouldve been a mess with me and him trying. I understand no one wants to work, covid stuff is hard, but Im sorry if I treated my customers like that I wouldve been fired no matter what.

Bought a couch and picked it up. Got it home and unwrapped it to find the side had a cut in it. Called the Chillicothe, OH store and was greeted by a very unhelpful man who could have cared less how big of a deal it is to lug this huge couch back to get another one. Customer service is severely lacking with this store and they dont even offer to help make it right.

I like to shop at Menards because they have so much to offer however, the associates were too busy standing around talking to each other to help the customers. They really need to take care of business and socialize on their own time.

Menards as always was great, my family and I spend a lot of time shopping there seems like other than major groceries they have just about everything you need. Their 11% rebate that they have very frequently is also a great bonus that we utilize very much. Their employees and customer service is always great and spot on the only thing that I ever have notice could be improved is the number of registers they have open the lines get pretty long before they open up another register and after youve been staying in one for five minutes and three people flocking to the newest one move right through well I guess we all know how that feels. But hands down one of my favorite places to shop in Chillicothe.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Ordered and paid for an Air Conditioner yesterday. Just went to pick it up today and its gone. Excuse me? Oh, we sent it somewhere else. Went to Customer Service to talk to manager to complain and get refund on credit card. Started talking and the manager just turned and walked away!!

Good place to shop. When needing assistance sometimes it takes longer time than expected. My fiance loves this place. He was only disappointed with wall paneling because, associate failed to inform him that you still had to place drywall and etc behind the panels. Other than that great place to shop for home improvements. Workers should have a little more product knowledge when selling home improvement materials.That is all. Keep up the good work.

Got the items I needed. Price was good.

Bought a patio dining table on line and picked it up in Chillicothe from Columbus. They were the nearest Menards that had 0ne floor sample in stock. Called the store to make sure. The employee said yes they still have it. I asked if it could be held aside for me I will be there in 60 to 90 minute. And I will also need the legs taken off so I can get it in my van. She stated that I should go thru the website to purchase the item, which would generate a pull ticket and the item will be available at the customer pickup in the lumber yard. All that never happened took an hour and a half to get someone to find a proper employee to get it off the sales floor and another half hour to find tools. Very disorganized menards. Sad. But I got my table.

Good store, many options, workers seem to be somewhat educated on products. Only major drawback for me was the lumber yard. Lumber yard seems to be in complete disarray without any rhyme or reason to their sorting of lumber.

Will never spend another dime at Menards. We went to order a playset and was told they had 1 of the playset we wanted in stock. So we paid for it and was coming back the next morning with the truck to pick it up. When we went to pick it up we was told that the one we paid for was sold to someone that ordered it online after we had already paid. Then we was told they would order it and it would be 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called to check and was it was going to be at least another 3-4 weeks before they would have any more in stock. I will never shop at menards again.

Mermards refused me service because I cant wear a mask. But mask are laying outside the store which are more dangerous than this fake virus. Dont waste your money at this communist China company.

Was an experience of a lifetime. The Zebras were teriffic. The giraffes were tall. Taco bell has the best Tacos. I really enjoyed the water slide. I buy my underwear at K-Mart. Butter is very oily. Cant wait to ride the big Roller Coaster. I bought a few power tools to use outdoors. All was awsome. The deck was built within a weekend. I enjoyed putting the snowman together. I would really watch out for low flying planes. The spinning blades could really make your day miserable. Happy New Year. Hope everyone has a better year this year 2021.

I went to pick an order that I made in June ( garage doors x3) one would think that an order like that for a customer that you would put it all together in one spot instead of multiple places but all in all they did a good job loading for me

Was not good wanted to see the ponds but was not shown them.except the big plastic display. We wanted to see the ponds. That he said was instock.so your store lost over 1800 bucks .very disappointed..we did however spend $3.78 cents😥

This is probably my favorite place to shop because you can get nearly anything here.

Menards use to be a go to when I did contracting business with a supplier. This contractor sales manager pretty much refused to give me a quote so I could get a cashiers check because the amount is a bigger amount. Said to contact the bank insteady of typing up a quote giving me the amount so I could do it the way needed to be done for efficiently reasons. Absolutely horrible. Wouldnt even give them a star but it made me.

A good store, has everything even groceries and you get a 11% rebate.

I would not shop there again. Our church is in need of doors. Went in there around the end of summer to buy some. The Russian secret police would not let me in because I was not wearing a mask because I have a medical condition. I walked out knowing I would never be back even if they were giving money away. I have no problems giving my money or the churchs money to liberty loving stores. Ps many of my friends will pay higher prices or go without than to step foot in red medards. One day u will be history.

Had a really great girl help us in lighting department.

I drove an hour and a half to get golf cart batteries for my son’s golf cart. I called the store at 9 am to confirm they had the 6 I needed. The lady said they had 7, but I should go ahead and order online to make sure they weren’t sold. I did so, and headed to pick them up. I spent several hours in Chillicothe waiting for confirmation that I could pick up my order. Called the store to check on my order but never got an answer. At 3, I decided to go there and check. My order hadn’t been pulled because they were “confused” by it. Dominick did pull my batteries but did not offer to help me load them or unload my old batteries. He also talked over me several times. Was also told I could only have a store credit for the recycling of the old batteries, even though it isn’t stated anywhere on their website that this is the case. Had looked forward to coming to Menards for the first time, but it will be the last.

We have had landscaping blocks on order for 5 weeks. The manufacturer contacted us that they are not being made anymore. No call from the local Menard’s. We have a retaining wall halfway built, with the remainder not coming in. Menard’s will not help in any way with getting them from another store, even though there are some several hours away. We feel the customer service is VERY bad here. After spending thousands on home improvements here this summer, we will not return to purchase products from here again. We are very disappointed with their willingness to help.

Get rid of the food items so it can be a dog friendly store like Lowes!

I shouldnt have to ask for help! I made a trip to Menards in Chillicothe because we were putting up a new vinyl picket fence and we were needing one additional section, 8 end caps for our post and some hardware.Although the section that I needed was it heavy there was a young man driving a forklift directly in front of me in the same aisle and never offered to ask me if he could help me in any way. In addition the in caps that I needed I could only find five of the eight and with nobody around to assist me I now have to go to another Menards to finish our project. Even if there were only 5 in-store it would have been nice if the young man would have taken the initiative to assist.When leaving the store the cashier asked me if I needed assistance putting the fence in my vehicle and I said no thank you Ive done it all so far but I appreciate the offer. Her reply was yeah, its almost impossible to get anybody around here to help you if you need help you have to ask for it.Maybe it was Pride or just my stubbornness but Im not going to ask someone for help when they could see that I was looking for something isnt that what their job is? I thought that was part of customer service.... we just spent over $1,100 for the fence that we are installing, but next time well probably think twice before shopping at Menards over Lowes$

Found everything I needed and then some.

The associate working in the electrical section was very knowledgeable and helpful.

First to start has just about everything minus a select few things which is like riding mowers but they do carry push mowers and belts,blades,and such as that. However I usually go for plumbing,lighting,paint,lumber,appliances...in other words everything else. Applying for credit card surprisingly was simple at their kiosk. Also i didnt have a great credit score but was approved for one. Employees always ready to lend a helping hand and are friendly especially in the lumber yard, which keeps me coming back. Fyi i drive out of my way to go there as well and pass other competitors for what Menards provides!

We came to Menard’s to get a washer/dryer set after the one we had ordered from Lowe’s fell through. We were very pleased with our experience. The set ended up being cheaper at Menard’s and came when it was expected. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The employees in this store do not pay attention when placing orders. Twice Ive had huge screw ups on orders. 1st time I ordered French doors that they misplaced and they couldnt locate! The second time we ordered metal roofing because our roof was leaking. We ordered tan, the associate ordered half tan, half emerald green. It took 3 weeks for it to come in and it was wrong. My husband took off work to do the roof! Now my leaking roof has to wait 3more weeks to get replaced meaning more dry wall replaced. You dont order roofing if your roof doesnt need done! After this we will never go back and thats a shame, weve spent$15,000 there on renovations, and home additions as well as appliances!

They didnt have an indoor air conditioner...thats what I went for.

They do seem to have anything I need. I wish there was one closer. I drive past a Lowes to get to This Menards over an hour away.

They messed up on my receipt. Had to go to customer service to have it fixed. Other than that all was good.

Their online pickup is awful. It took me over 45 minutes to get my order. Whats the point of ordering ahead if it takes that long?

Clean store, friendly staff. First time we went there, there was no motorized carts available for disabled person with me. Went back the next day and finally found one available. Nice garden department. Masks required and if you dont have one, they are available for a small charge.

A cashier refused to check me out over a mask.. I guess the 3 inch incision on my neck was no clue.

Wasnt pleased with the service in the plumbing department.

No veterans discount so I dont shop there.

Great place speedy unload

I use to love shopping here and purchased many things for my home though their 11% rebate however my last experience (yesterday) at the Chillicothe Ohio location was not a good one. I looked online and it said they were open until 10pm. My husband and I drove an hour to buy a new washer and dryer. We arrived about 8:50pm to walk in and only realize they close at 9pm. I was not able to make my purchase due to them closing at 9 and rushing people to the front of the store. I called back this morning to see if they would honor the 11% based on what I went through the night before and the manager told me no! I also mentioned how they honor the 11% the week before the ad, but I was told that they could not honor it based on my circumstance and I should have ordered it online!!! Maybe you need to get your hours right online Menards! The manager was not apologetic and made the excuse that our hours do change on Monday to 10pm. Ok, well this was Saturday! Never apologized for my inconvenience, very cold and not personable at all!!! I will give my business to someone who appreciates my hard earned money!

Tried to stop in today for some supplies and found out they don’t allow children under 16 in the store, even wearing a mask (which are mandatory and we were prepared for...that’s a whole different issue). I must have missed the CDC release where children are the only risk to spread viruses. Won’t be supporting a store with arbitrarily implemented policies, plenty of other places need revenue.
