See that dark spot under my 2021 Silverado. Took to dealership to have oil changed and started noticing oil spots in my driveway. Upon further inspection I noticed my oil filter wasn’t even hand tight. Come on guys. I’ve changed my own oil since I was 16 and I’ve never had this happen!! Unacceptable!!!
I scheduled an oil change and 30,000 miles check. When I arrived, the representative said that they had no openings for the oil change and explained that the website defaults to the mileage inspection when requested service isn’t available. He then reassured me that he would get me taken care of, and he did. This was my third service appointment and I keep coming back. I’m always told what is needed after the inspection like wiper blades and the recommended time to do the replacement. I’m never pressured into replacing anything while the car is being serviced. When I leave, I’m confident that my vehicle is safe to drive and I know when I need to schedule the next service.
Very satisfied. Had a high pressure hose break on the power steering unit early on a Saturday morning. I was to depart on a 500 drive later that day. Call service, told them my issue and they took me right in. Quick inspection found the problem, ordered the part and fixed me up and has me on the road 5 hours later. Jamie Cottrill was the service advisor and kept me informed throughout the process. Great service!

My glovebox was gone through to check the cabin air filter. I feel like I should have been asked first. We specifically put the wheel lock tool out on the console so they wouldnt have to look for it. That same tool was just tossed into the glovebox and not put back in the package still laying on the console. Besides that everything was good, very quick. Will definitely go back.
I had a great experience with the Service Center. I needed extensive work done to an older SUV, and this crew did not let me down. They worked with my schedule and turned the truck quickly given the amount of work. They were friendly, kept me informed, and charged a fair price for the service. I am definitely headed back if I have future service needs.
This is now my second time working with Coughlin Chevy in Chillicothe and both times have been nothing short of spectacular! I have worked with Andy Gilbert both times and he has given me great deals with both of my vehicles. I live in Hilliard OH and drove an hour and people asked me why drove so far to get a car and I told them that no one can match the service, quality and wide range of vehicles they have at Coughlin! I have nothing but good things to say about the entire team at Coughlin. I specifically worked with Kristen Rastle, and I will be the first to say that I did not make it easy on her. I live 3 hours away from the dealer and dealt with her via phone, text, and email. When I arrived, everything was in order and ready to go. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Service was delayed due to a miss communication. I had an appointment on 6/7 @9:15am. The appointment didnt show up on the techs schedule so the service was performed on 6/11 instead. The recall was taken care of but the CV Axel issue wasnt addressed. I needed my car back so I couldnt schedule an additional appointment to fix the issue.
The sales guy was great but they wouldnt even try to submit my application and get me financed.

As a middle aged female, I worry about finding the right treatment and honesty in our crazy world. I was a realtor 20 years and now a speech pathologist. My experience in sales of over 30 years has helped me to know what to look for but my instincts make up for the rest. I spoke with many in Cincinnati; including Jeff Wyler ( very little communication and gave me their fax #) and a lot near Newport and decided to go further away from my home in a purchase as Jason and Marshall were so communicative from beginning to end and total honesty with no pressure. Anytime that I had a question - they were on it. Even the delivery folks put you at ease and let me know that they worked for the company because of their years of experience purchasing cars form Coughlin. I live in Northeast Ky.
I was having an issue with truck transmission and the service group worked with me to identify the issue quickly without any fuss or confusion. The overall experience was very good as I had several other services provided during the same visit.
Dealership stayed open late so I could come in and finish financing which was great on the down side I was told there were 2 sets of keys there was only one also the delivery was cool I didn’t have to make the long drive back but vehicle was delivered with almost no fuel I have never bought a vehicle and got it one empty other than the hat it was a pleasure to do business there staff was super friendly and helpful
Overall no issues all parties handle everything perfectly. This is my 2nd purchase from Coughlin first was a 2016 Chevy High Country love it also. The new Denali is quite the vehicle my wife is intimidated by its size but shell get used to it. Ive always been a Chevy lover my 1st car I purchased when I got out of high school was a 68 Camaro SS big block 396 which I still had it.

Coughlin Chillicothe always does a great job when servicing your vehicle. They take you on time (sometimes if you show up earlier, they will take you before your appointment time), are friendly, and honest. Their new facility is beautiful with a great waiting room with coffee and HD TVs. My service was even enhanced with a free car wash!
Was happy with the service. BUT not the price I took my vehicle to another dealer and showed them my invoice and the mechanics and owners were shocked. Different labor amounts for each item touched. No flat labor fee. I could have shaved over $400 - $500 just in labor.

I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado from Coughlin in late February. The salesman, James Benner, was very knowledgeable and answered questions about the vehicle and helped with getting financing set up. After having the truck less than a week an issue surfaced with one of the systems. A quick call to James and he said to bring it back in and they would see what they could find. After the cause was discovered, James and his manager Jason, how it got to that point and a fair agreement was for replacement of the system. The management, sales staff, repair staff were always very professional and provided all the information they had. I recommend Coughlin in Chillicothe and thank them again for their support and service.
- I had to ask for total OTD price (all fees/charges of any kind) multiple times.- Lowball offer for trade-in allowance on car they admitted was worth more.- Lied about requirements of doc fee and refused to work with me on price after claiming that they really wanted to get rid of the car i test drove.- Contacted by 2 different employees, one of which asked me if i wanted to test drive after I had already traveled 3 hours and done so previously. Huge waste of time from a dealership that only tells 90% of the truth -- and thats only once you ask them the same thing multiple times.- Pretended to be breaking even on a car they probably gave 4k for at most and when they own 12 dealership locations.- Claim to not have record under listed Google user name so they dont have to lie and dispute the details and customer claims from their review. Check how many times theyve done this for bad reviews.- Tried to get me to agree to finance even when I said I would be buying outright when I first contacted the dealership.- Family/friends padding reviews and/or fake Google reviews.- Vehicle being sold had 157k miles, low tire tread, seat wear, unreliable remote start, worn interior/dash...- State minimum requirement documentation fee is actually the maximum amount they can charge. Documentation fees are literally made up by dealers and have no purpose beyond squeezing more money from buyers. Coughlin lies when they claim its a state minimum requirement -- in fact Ohio caps doc fees at $250 or 10% of the price of the unit, whichever is less. What they claim is minimum is actually the maximum theyre allowed to charge.These people are the same type of deceitful scumbags who work at every dealership, dont believe the hype.

Got a call back to test drive a mega cab. Drove over an hour to see it and it was like they didnt want to give me the time of day. I was upfront that I knew what I wanted, was pre approved, and ready to purchase. They told me they werent interested in negotiating and to enjoy my day. As a multi business owner, I find it extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was also told they wouldnt be interested in doing anything until tomorrow as they didnt want to stay past closing to do the paperwork. Terrible experience honestly. I went to Jeff Wyler and it was a complete different experience!

Was not pleased with my appointment. Did not get what I went for. Oil and filter change and fuel filters changed, tires rotated. Oil change done and they didnt have anyone that could do the fuel filters. This is the 3rd time Ive had problems. Im not coming back.

Went in to ask about the price on a vehicle and was talked down to like a child ! The man decided to explain to me how the banks work and getting approved. Btw, Ive already been approved twice but the man kept going on so . Needless to say I walked out. I am a 35 year old woman who has worked since I was 15! I have owned a home an numerous vehicles plus raised 1 son whos on college am raising another o e now! I do not appreciate being spoke to that way or treated like Im stupid.

He listened to what we were looking for and our budget. He treated us like family and explained our options and allowed my wife and I to discuss them without any hassle or aggressive sales pitch. It was such a relief, seeing how we had spoken to sales people from other dealerships that were not so welcoming, understanding, and even interested in anything other than selling us a car. My parents test drove a car and a truck this weekend, they planned to purchase both for $78,000 and Coughlin refused to take any money off, not to mention my dad buying parts from them consistently for years now (he is a reputable mechanic in town). Absolutely ridiculous, no loyalty. Go somewhere else to buy your cars.

I don’t think they needed to spend an entire day running diagnostics when it was already pretty clear what needed to be fixed. Feels like padding the bill of an inexpensive fix. I paid 263 and change for something that at most should have cost 160.

Good service. I love my new car! Our dealer drive us all the way to another location to help find a car that I wanted. The wait to sign all of the paperwork was long but that’s to be expected.
Went for my oil change and tire rotation. The next day I noticed my tires were never rotated. They also changed the next oil change mileage to 2,000 miles instead of 5. Called and they had me come in. Gave me the rotation, a $20 rebate for not doing it right the first time and my next one free. Never changed my mileage sticker. Question, why wasnt it done right the first time? They made it right but only after being called out for not doing it the first time. Think Ill go to Wal-Mart next time.

Honestly, if I could give them 0 stars I would.DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a 2020 GMC Terrain here (which they had to bring in from another store because they sold the one I was going to buy right out from under me) so they got the Terrain from another store (she said she’d make us a great deal after everything and that didn’t happen) but anyways since they got it from another store they didn’t have the second key fab, STILL waiting on that and I’ve tried calling and texting them and no one is getting back to me.So after that whole debacle, after asking our sales associate about what our APR would be she told us that finance would go over it with us because she didn’t know, so after that we start signing papers and my husband had to stop them to ask what the APR would be because it definitely wasn’t discussed with us (finance said that they were under the impression that the sales associate had already told us... like nope, definitely not!) so she tells us a super high rate and we’re obviously like that’s not going to work, so after “checking other places” multiple times the rate got cut by HALF. I’m pretty sure that’s super shady and illegal to not disclose that with us. Literally what a JOKE of a dealership, not professional whatsoever, I just wish I went somewhere else... so beware of this place. Huge mistake buying from them, and I will try and deter anyone from ever going here.
