The cashiers at this pride are always in a great mood it seems. Always welcoming and friendly. I have never had an issue at this location, and the fifties diner is connected! That for me is awesome in itself!
Not many places I get 5 stars that have pay parking..however this helps pick up after nasty truckers. Easy on and off 90/291. Front desk people love truckers and poor lady believe was Angela had to put up with my sleepy crank self🤣🤣.. I dont usually stop at smaller chain stops unless its for fuel only but this place all the way around is awesome. I did notice a Chesters and subway. Not sure of restaurant hours but overall for a small chain highly recommended for a 10 or 34...15$ per day and reduced by what you buy in restaurant and store from my experience. But 15$ isnt terrible for the lack of parking in this area..
I love it here. I never have much difficulty in finding a spot to park. Clean showers. Well stocked. And the workers here are awesome. Especially Brittany. I hope yall are paying em good wages.
15.00 to park for 24 hours. I spent 15.00 on a shower, and 30.00 in the restaurant, had to pay 4.50 to leave. Shower was small but it worked. The people seemed cool. The lot was decent sized but used by locals. Pork chops were good. But mass banned plastic bags right? I was served a plastic cup, lid and straw, cheap plastic utensils, plastic plate to eat my food. But its all good because they dont use plastic bags
I was parked there last night and it was full of dropped trailers and DOT transports bobtail. There is also lots of broken wood and garbage lying around, they need garbage cans in the lot. As for the people they are good and the place is pretty clean.
Jay seems cool. Just called to ask about laundry services and he answered very politely. They do offer laundry for drivers. Will update this review after Ive had a shower and check out the inside...Shower #4 the door is a little tricky but overall the place was REALLY nice inside. Hot, clean, showers. Picked up some chili dogs from the little hot box by the register and they were pretty good. Guy working the register seemed polite enough. ☀️☀️☀️☀️
Not a fancy stop, but clean and does the job. Restaurant has chicken tenders and wings, apple pie, milkshake, juices, soft drinks, and some other stuff. The lot just got busier at about 5 pm, we’ve got there at 4:00 pm and there were a few spots. They have a small C-store, showers, bathrooms, laundry room for coins. Generally recommended for a night stay.
I really love coming to this place! Every time Im in the area, I make it a point to stop by. The parking area for truckers is always well maintained. Its totally worth the money you have to pay to park. Its well lit, quiet and has a security guard. The showers and restrooms are always cleaned, and you cant beat the food in the Fifties dinner.
$15 to park and the store only has one refrigerator for sodas. Plus, theyre cooked chicken wings are placed on the cooler table, not in/on a heating unit. Id only come back here if I absolutely have to. Honestly expected better.
Mr owner one of your staff name Tina ..she is a gem of a person make sure dont loose her . So helpful and awesome customer service
Got there at 2130 Saturday got fuel. Couldnt get a receipt. Went in to park. Got shower that was clean. Diner was nice ppl inside was nice. No trash outside at all. Left on Monday morning at 6am $45 for parking. I guess they dont do 24hr they do it by the day and if so no 3hrs free parking.
Shower was clean, Fifties diner was nice and clean! The guy at the counter at the store was RUDE...not only to me but to customers on the phone that had called in. (He hung up on a lady just for asking directions? )🧐 All the reviews say how quite the parking lot is...maybe if you park all the way in the back row. All night, trucks were in and out dropping trailers and picking them up, I was even woken up at 2am to someone using a power drill?? 🤣🤷🏼♀️ BUT, its a nice CLEAN store, everybody had masks on, nice towels for showers, and warm food. Decent place to stop.
Parking was good well lit & secure. Grabbed coffee & muffins from store in morning (homemade, yummy) Restaurant was a disappointment though. Service was friendly but extremely slow (several ppl left) food was ok.
Very friendly staff, paid parking good lot but alot of Bob tails taking truck parking would be nice to see bobtails park in back lot or along fence . Polite staff an friendly showers were clean but cold water I cold not get hot water. Would visit again overall great
Parking is good, the restaurant has much to be desired the place is old service was good. Homeless people begging for money and food, I gave in sad
Its true, Jay is the man!.. very knowledgeable and polite, explained everything to me about the truck stop stepping up its game and improvements to the area, thanks again for employing a guy like Jay...
I thought I was overcharged for an amount that I saw on my bank mobile app and Brandon was very helpful and took his time to find the transaction even though I lost the receipt and he found it and he cleared it all up for me. Turns out I got cash back from the store that I forgot. Lol.Thanks again BRANDON youre awesome
Love this truck stop in the New England Area. $10 to park and they have a security gate tower to collect. I was here during the Polar Vortex 2 years ago and was 3 feet of snow.I slipped and slid walking to the Diner which has some pretty awesome food I must say.Everyone was inviting and friendly. Plenty of room to park and they plow their lot very well.
5 stars for the 50s Diner great place food was exceptional 👌 😋 the people who worked there are wonderful 👏
Parking is $15. The 50s Diner was really good. They have free WiFi, 3-6 mbps
Could use a few trash bins in the parking lot. Food filled me up and I got to shower.
The store is small, but they offer showers. Gotta pay $14 to park, which isn’t too bad. The Subway is just a normal Subway. The Diner is great. Greeted with a smile, and the food is really good.
Old school friendly staff and a good place for a little bit of rest and relax
This place is going down hill. Fast! Fuel Counter girl is very rude. Rubbing off on parking lot workers. There isnt any trash can near trucks. Getting dirtier
Omg this place was the Bomb.com 😍 it’s paid parking but who cares when it’s safe and secured the only problem I had was the noise that came from the other trucks which the lot has no control of . Kind of hard for me to sleep . But that diner experience was the best the food is amazing and I’m from the south those pork chops was seasoned to the tea ! Move over pilot and loves ... Pride here to stay
$14 for an old shower is overrated, even loves charges $13 for a brand new showers
These people dared to give me more delicious food than expected. The breakfast special was overflowing with the size of the hot cakes, the well cooked bacon was more than the usual tiny over cooked pieces from other places. Not only that but THEY added midsize well cooked sausage links and bread and I guess I look like a junky because my coffee cup was always full. I will give definitely give this restaurant another shot and verify ...
Well to the guy who complaint about the plastic bags I order a box of paper fork, knives and spoons for you to eat nothing in the world makes much sense that’s what makes it so interesting
It was alright. Its the Northeast, its gonna be dirty and a rip off, but it wasnt as dirty as I feared and didnt rip me off too much. It is what it is, theres nowhere else.
The lady behind the fuel desk is really rude.other than that it’s not a bad place to stop and get fuel.
First off this is my favorite truck stop in New England. Its clean, decent showers, and the staff are awesome. Love the Diner, although its closed this trip. Signs are pretty well posted about parking rates, so dont get why theres people complaining. If you want to be treated like family, and have a staff that understands the work we do, this is the place to go.
Secure parking. First 3 hrs are free, after that $13 for 24 hrs. Still a bargain. Plus you get discounts for monies spent in the 50s Diner, Subway or either store. I ended up paying only $7. There are a good amount of dropped trailers, but the sign states it is allowed for a price. Same for extended parking as well as drivers POVs. But there are still a lot of parking spaces. The 50s Diner is legit. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. My only complaint was the music. It is 70s & 80s. Should have had some Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons, The Four Tops, Dion and the Belmonts, The Spinners... But hey, thats just me.
Great food is not a bad place. Very big parking. I think for the area. But needs more bathrooms, you Cant have that many trucks with only one bathroom. To park you have to pay $13.00 a day.
I will never spend money at truck stop that charges for parking.. theres very few places to park a 73ft long vehicle on the east coast forcing drivers to pay to park is just a scam because you know theyre at your mercy and have no other options. If the owner cared it would be a safe haven not a pay to park scam. You loose a ton of business because of this
This is usually a great place to park. I know you have to pay to park here but, let me tell you what I wake up to this morning. There are three trucks stuck in the lot because they did not have the lot plowed. How are you a Massachusetts business without a snow plow company or equipment? There is a tow truck in the lot, literally, in the lot. They had to call one to get all the truck out of the snow. I have not even tried to leave yet because, I am blocked in. I paid for dinner, I paid fir my parking. Are you telling me now I have to pay a tow truck to get me out of here? I can gurantee it wont happen again.
Great stop for the area. Sure parking is $12, but you get first 3 hrs free, and any purchases made in store or diner are deducted from your parking fee. Diner is open 24 hours. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy to access from the Mass pike, 391, or 91.
Parked my car carrier, took a nice shower and had something to eat. Very nice place with reasonable prices. it is well worth the 13.00 parking fee. Thank you !!!
Dont even think to stop at those two locations
Shower was nasty. Hot water didn’t last long and you had to keep turning the knob to keep it warm. Gaps with the shower door and only a handle lock not a dead bolt. Not worth 12. Bucks IMO. I think a renovation would be best here.
Great gas station and clean I recommend
I will not be fueling here anymore put 110 gallons of fuel in and I couldn’t find my ambest card and they wouldn’t give me a free shower fuel here every week but i guess their $10 dollar shower is worth losing about $3000 dollars a month
Going down hill. No lights in the truck parking lot. Trash everywhere. Bathrooms and showers need some “soap n water...” Diner and convenience store are good items...4stars.
My buddy loves this place. He likes the free coffee, and chilly. He goes on about this place. My first time there, I waited in line, nobody at the register. I got over 150 gallons, and asked about a free coffee, she said ya, over there. Nothing about the chilly. Second time. I waited a longer time. Its not worth all the waiting at the pumps, and inside. Not for me, my buddy still loves it there..
A small business is just that. Support a local business. Had a great stay. The clerk was very nice and had my receipt ready, shower came with fuel, pay to park so not to crowded. Ate at the diner next door and it wasn’t a fast food chain so that’s a plus
13$ parking overnight (24hrs) unless you buy 100 gallons of fuel and or purchase items in the store.I got stuck in the lot (ice) and someone told me on the phone no charge. I did buy some items but Im not sure if I still need to pay for parking.
If you ever want to get a royal phoning without the use of any Vaseline go to this place they charge $14 to overnight parking which is considered reasonable but when you spend $20 at their store for food and then go to check out the following day and still have to pay $10 on top of what you spent I consider that highway robbery thank God I will never have to go to that place again it is definitely not worth it
For a smaller, older facility, it has everything you need to be comfortable while doing a break or reset. Big,clean showers, laundry, great diner food and atmosphere. Its the best truck stop in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Ots good they have diesel with discount but DEF at the pump is way overpriced. Also need to fill at least 75 gallons of diesel to receive free shower on the card or its 12$. Parking paid too.
Great place to park, quiet, clean, Fifties Diner was great. Parking was free by simply buying things I would have needed anyway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ignore the negative reviews and see for yourself.
Probably the best parking lot in Massachusetts if you dont mind paying $12 (non-fueler). Great selection of snacks and typical convenient store groceries. TV room with satellite with the remote in the room. But if you come to do laundry, forget about it. Both washers and dryers cost $3 per load and my clothes were still wet after an hour in the dryer. The office door is adjacent to the laundry room so you never know when the manager might hit you with the door while youre loading the machines. Also be beware of the salad bar in the restaurant. And Ill comment further about the restaurant in the proper place.
Solid selection of snack type items, love the pepperoni and cheese and salads. Diner is great. $10 for 24 hours parking is very fair compared to others especially considering theres nowhere to park for miles. After 600 miles of driving and nowhere to park Ill gladly pay the 10 for a large parking lot like that. If they keep it at $10 I will keep coming back.
Super nice people, the kind of hospitality you dont find in the Northeast. Ill definitely be back.
Cheap fuel prices, clean parking lot. Sure you gotta pay to park. But you get discounts with store purchases, or use your AmBuck$ points. Didnt shower so I cant comment on them. But the staff was alert, ready and willing to help. Clean, stocked ladies room. Which is not something you get at those chain stores. Will be coming back.
They had PARKING FOR RIGS!!! A RARITY IN THIS AREA! Wonderful staff. So clean! Dont screw this up fellow professional drivers! Keep it this place classy and respect it!
Great place. Good size parking lot that can fit about 60 Trucks. Free Parking. The 50s Diner is great place to eat!
The people that work there at Pride are remarkable very courteous caring and professional they do go out of their way to make you feel very comfortable like its a country store feeling and the more you go there they always remember you and are so polite in courteous they are just great people
Old Skool truck stop. Best diesel price too. Treat you like family.whole staff is really nice. Great food. Somebody went to school.
Great place for truckersParking. 3 hours free $12.00 per 24 hrDinner has good food clean restroomsStore has a good varietyStaff friendly and don’t mind doing their job no long lines to stand inA member of management John LaDueActually gave me a cup of coffee on the house when was the last time that happened
$10 to park per 24hrs, not bad considering Mass. has no parking anywhere else around. C-store is a bit small but has the essentials. The diner is top notch.Verizon service in this area sucks.
Its old school. You have to drag the hose across like old school but its all good. As far as a pride truck stops it had plentiful parking and was clean as it could be for a pride truck stop. Those of you that have been to prides else where know what Im talking about. Food wasnt to bed ether. So 4 stars to these guys. And this us about the only one that gets above 1 star.
Great service and always clean. The gas is priced fair as well as the store items. The new loyalty card is an amazing deal!
Went over 1.5. Hours on parking had to pay double, 3 hours free parking only applies for the previous day
Showers were very clean, staff was friendly and the food was great at the 50s Diner. The staff in the diner need to hop from table to table though checking on people instead of being up by the bar constantly.
Restaurant was good, rest of the place was a dump just like the landfill next to it. 12$ for a dirty, moldy 3x3 shower. Cashier made a smart remark about how I forgot his tip....for a shower....
5 star for the restaurant! you get much more for what you pay... yes they charge for parking, but look arround, this truck stop is like a oasis in the desert.. at least the only place where you can try to find a spot and of course they will take advantage of it! Once again Big Like for the restaurant!
I was getting diesel there for couple month now. So far it is a very good place. Clean, odorless bathrooms. Cashiers were always polite so far, and with every fuelling i was getting free coffee. The only thing i kinda dont like, is when you get out from the fuel pump, the space is very tight. But oh well, nothing is perfect in this world. I dorecommend this place to everyone.
Misleading sign saying every dollar spent in store gets % off for parking. with $13 for parking youd think you get free parking if you spent $13. you actually get 25 cent credit toward parking for every dollar spent.
Spacious parking for trucks. Extremely nice facility. Very enjoyable stop.
Very clean truck stop. The restaurant is closed, due to the virus, but subway is open. Friendly staff
In this area parking is huge. Its worth the money to have a safe place to spend the night.
The diner was clean, the food was very good. Had the Fifties breakfast special. Decent price, the inside and parking lot was clean. One of the cheapest pay for parking I’ve ever seen especially in the north east.
The salad needs some things filled. It not big, so it should be filled. Service is decent. No rush to come back.
I will gladly give this place a one star since you have to give one. Larry (with the old Am Best vest) was very rude. My husband and I went to get a shower (11-12-2017) @ 10pm. The first shower #2 was filthy, hair on the shower wall, etc so we went back to get another shower Larry was very unprofessional and rude. The second shower #3 still had nasty trash in the trash can. If were paying to park and spending our money the service should be better than it is. We will try to avoid this truck stop. I rather drive down the road than to deal with professionalism and filth.
They charge $14.00 parking for 24 hours.
Like almost every other truckstop these days, theyve found yet another way to reach into my pocket. I simply dont pay for parking, period. Gonna miss the 50s diner, great food, nice eye candy,clean...basically, that and a couple hr. nap was i all I stopped for. If i wanted to spend a bunch ofmoney, service plazas have no qualms either and theyre quicker.
Decent location, bit pricey for parking, but its the best location for miles. Dont lose your ticket, its a $200 fine lol
The parking lot was nice, and they only charge $10 for 24 hours. The catch is that for every $5 spent in store or diner only counts as $2 for parking, as the gate person explained it. Spent little over $10 in store and found out the hard way that I still had to pay another $7 to get out.Their sign needs to be updated with this info. If it was, I would have never spent my money inside and just paid for the parking. Would have been cheaper for me.Not to mention, the store is only half stocked with anything.
Diner and gas station were more then accommodating. Showers and laundry available on site. Very friendly staff.
Ten bucks to park, but theres always space. Not a lot to offer, but in this area just finding somewhere safe and comfortable is pretty good.
Its a pretty nice place. Ive been here a few times and I enjoy my stay every time.
This truck stop sucks!!! The pumps are awkwardly arranged, its mad dirty and the shopping area is literelly a cubical.. The best thing they have going is the Subway and the large parking lot..
Friendly staff. Awesome food in the 50s Dinner.
Im visiting from California grew up in Chicopee traveled the country many time over 4 months a year.IVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF A TRUCK STOP CHARGING FOR CAR PARKING......sounds ridiculous to me.Greed......keeps lots of business away Im sure.Im ashamed of my home town.....at first I got excited a safe nap zone then I saw this.....sounds foolish to me.
Nice parking lot, I dont mind paying the fee. But, the shower rooms are like saunas. They need a/c or fans in them.
Its OK, I have gone to better places and the free parking will be no more after they redo the parking lot. Which be near the end of this year. I will be parking elsewhere when that happens.
Good food for the price. The wait staff at night are awesome.
I get paying for parking....I get store purchase to offset it...But....I went and did laundry 15 bucks for that and got an Im sorry we dont give receipts for that.....whites ruined from washer.....very little to choose from in store....poorly maintained lot CO driver fell twice on ice....rude third shift worker.....only good thing about this place was the diner....but not enough to come back..... That is the reason for 1 star........
Its a dump!!!! Its good if youre not expecting too much! The fifties diner has bad service the food is just ok. No worries theres other restaurants in the area!!!
Always open spots in the lot. Take a ticket pay 10 bucks on your way out or free within 3 hours. Clean showers with clean toilets. Friendly staff. Fuel is in Prime network.
Very unfriendly and hateful personnel on top of paying for parking just the most unwelcoming place Ive ever been never coming back
This is their moto, screw the paying customer because of the bad apples? Just an excuse to rob the customer. Eld logs can prove when you got there. They probably don’t care. We will not be stopping here anytime.
