Had the best customer service experience today at Ace. I needed something to attach a shelving unit to the wall, and needed assistance finding the best option. I asked for help from Jake, who instead of telling me what aisle it would be on and sending me on my way, took the time and walked me to three different aisles showing me different options that would work, and didn’t leave until he knew I had everything I needed. I really appreciated the assistance as it would’ve taken me forever to find what I needed. Thank you!

ACE Hardware. The un-big box store. Amazing BBQ section! ACE has items and services other big box stores dont have. The only reason this isnt my go to is because I live on the complete opposite side of town. Otherwise I would never shop at Lowes, or Home Depot.

My favorite hardware store in town! The store is always spotless and the employees are relaxed and friendly. They often have unusual supplies only found online, and their prices are good. If you love plants you will love their selection. The plants and potting supplies are always top notch!

Unlike many other big box hardware stores this particular Ace was easy to navigate and the customer service was better than expected. Instead of being ignored while looking for that certain something an employee asks can I help you find something? So far all of the employees I have interacted with there have been both helpful and knowledgeable. Were glad the store opened in our neighborhood. Its got everything one might need for home improvement projects, gardening supplies, housewares, tools of all types and much more. Ace is the place yall.

In a nutshell: Great selection, great prices.They may not have exactly what Im looking for when Im looking for something very specific (like outdoor battery operated lights with a timer that also flash in a specific color), but I can always find general household items, tools and garden items.They have the best battery selection in town for a store that doesnt specifically sell batteries, from those little tablet batteries, watch batteries to D and everything in between.

ACE has to be the best home improvement store ever. They always have what I am looking for, they are always helpful, the store isnt so big you get lost, and the prices are great too. Another place that is my first go to store for any home and garden things I need to keep my Bride happy.

My partner’s experience in the store was unacceptable. When she asked, “do you have a second?” trying to ask general direction for a bottle of propane. And your employee said, “You better make it quick” is outrageous. We will not be returning.

This is the best ace in the area! Its huge and has so much variety. We were looking for a paint product that was not in the surrounding towns at the main chain stores or smaller stores but found it here!! Good customer service and several lanes open.

Ace gets only two stars primarily due to untrained, mismanaged employees. I enjoy shopping at Ace. The store is laid out well, and its clean and I like the products they carry. I prefer it to Lowes or Home Depot. On a Sunday, I approached an employee about helping me find a specific product. The employee said everything I needed was on (provided aisle number) but clearly he didnt want to help me. In fact, he didnt even look at me. He just kept stocking and organizing. I walked over to the aisle and a few minutes later, a young guy approached me and said; Wass Up? like I was his bro or something. I explained to him that I was having trouble finding a product, and while he initially had a strange attitude, he was eventually helpful. The entire experience was pretty strange and disappointing. The cashiers are generally nice, but Management needs to train. Get it together, Ace. Make it a good place to shop!

The staff here is always very very helpful. When I needed a color match they did a great job on getting the color that I needed with a great quality product. My reason for the 3 stars as they are very expensive, the one gallon of paint that I got was good quality but it was probably about 8 to $12 more than it should have been. Same with some Lumber that I needed was over double the price of the big box stores and since its an Ace store this is also considered a big box store. They have locally owned type of exorbitant price for the same product you get for rum similar companies.

A beautiful, clean and very organized store.Not like the mess most Home Depots are.The staff are everywhere and more than willing to help.They have Christmas light strings in bulk rolls that you can buy by the foot, no more lights that are too short or too long.

Asked a associate to cut a piece of plexiglass and was told it would take 2 days because he was the only one in his department. I have been in the store repeatedly and it was not that busy.

I got some help as soon as I got inside. I am on oxygen and have to use a scooter to get around big stores.i went right to the spot but had to have some help finding the part I needed. I zipped back to the counter, paid and left. Very nice people.

One of my favorite things to do bUy more yard tools and Carhartt pants

I go there for glass and plastic that I use for art. The hardware man spent a half hour at least cutting, wrapping and measuring the glass and plastic in a meticulous way. I cant see them doing this is a big box store. Also, the chain saw specialist spent several minutes explaining the problem afflicting my saw and taught me how to avoid and troubleshoot future problems. He was great. Service wonderfully personal.

Very well organized, well covered with staff, and NOW a wide array of high quality hardware. Their selection of fasteners is worth the drive. As opposed to the big box hardware stores, the lighting is first rate. Check it out. They offer a large variety of items...my only problem is.... Its a bit time consuming looking for what I need. But that could just be me not everyone else.. other then that they have pretty much everything a household needs. A little more expensive then the box stores but worth the few extra dollars to avoid getting completely lost in the acres and acres of isles at the big box stores. Since I have knee issues and can only walk so long.. its nice to have a local place in my area of town to go to on the fly. I was sad when osh closed up but now Im grateful that another similar store took its place. The staff is very helpful and friendly and always greets you with a smile.Im glad they are here and i can always count on someone there to point me in the right direction when Im not finding what I need.

Plenty of helpful employees all over the store who none of them knew what Emery cloth was! The four of them I asked all looked at me like I had a third eye when I said its for sending metal. They all said Sanding metal??! I found it myself.

I am only giving one star because everything time I go into this store there are long lines and 1 checker maybe 2 on a good day. The store is OK itself but the lines are long every single time... today I left my basket and just left. We should not have to stand in line to give our money away.

My first time checking this newly opened store. It was surprising how much they stock inside there. They carry a lot of what we use and was really impressed with the specialty hardware that they carry. Staff was very friendly the store was well organized and they even have a nice stocked pet food and toys isle. A great place to shop.

Well talk about wonderful customer service!!! I rushed into Ace Hardware at about 7 minutes till closing--i saw no other customers and it was obvious the staff was in the process of closing. However they greeted me as i flew threw the front doors and galloped to the paint section...and suddenly realized i had no clue WHERE the wood stain was located nor what color i wanted....and THEN there would be sandpaper to choose, what grit etc, and where was the sandpaper!?I had to ask for directions and to my surprise i was taken to the wood stain, to the sand paper, and when i hesitated to describe my project, apologizing for keeping the staff at the store late---HE TOLD ME IT WAS ABSOLUTELY OK AND THE IMPORTANT THING WAS THAT I WENT HOME WITH WHAT I NEEDED!!(if there were 10 stars I would give em 11!! And 2 thumbs up!)

This is not a home improvement store... its a classic hardware store. Dont ask a Lowes associate where they stock garden trowels...cause they dont. Didnt know ace was here until recently. They have a bit of everything here...houseware, nuts and bolts, garden, bbq stuff, you name it.

They are very helpful and they always have what Im looking for.

Expensive for paint and they used follow me around when i spent at least a 100 everytime i went in i dont go in much unless i need some wood to paint on in a pinch.

Nice big store with lots of stock but my next impression was that they are overpriced. I simply needed some disposable paint buckets of the small variety and a 1 quart was $1.79 and a 2 1/2 quart $2.59. Being that there are an infinite amount of items in the world you can buy and get a filled with something, quart of anything, for less than $1.79, let alone an empty pail (and for $1 less at Wally World), I was quite unimpressed and dismayed at myself for not having the patience to simply buy what I needed elsewhere at a later time. First impressions probably will prevent me from returning. On a side note, I like that most other places of their like open at 6am.

Ace hardware was my go to in Paradise, now as a Chico resident its great to have this option available here. The store has a very open and inviting feel, the staff were very friendly, and I was able to pick up every item on my list. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience.

Had what I was looking for.

I bought a small white ceramic pot and pink African violet, a bracket to hang a plant in. The store is clean and the garden section is stocked with beautiful plants and vegetables.

Theyre having their Grand opening, so everything was super clean and organized with plenty of helpful employees. Their opening sales prices were excellent, with a lot of great bargains. Now they just need to keep up their momentum.
