Great atmosphere! Ive played in quite a few magic tournaments here over the years and am currently playing Star Wars Destiny. Destinys community is growing here and is a ton of fun to play. Becky (the owner) is very knowledgeable and a staple in the Chico magic community.

So much better then bat comics for cards and the owner is the nicest lady you will ever meet she will even play boardgames with people if it isnt to busy.

This place is amazing! The owner and her staff are super helpful go to great lengths to get you what you need. I wanted to learn Magic to play with a friend on their birthday and the owner sat down and taught me! That kind of customer service and genuine interest in the merchandise is so hard to find nowadays! Skip Amazon or anywhere else in town and go straight here! Best prices and best service of any game store I know of! Id give them six stars if I could!

Chico magic has a great selection of merchandise be it board games, TCG cards or accessories. The staff is very friendly and wants to actively help you look for what you need. The atmosphere is friendly and the store is clean. The events they put on are also great to participate in. This shop is definitely worth checking out.

This store is absolutely lovely. Becky is an amazing person. She is alqays helpful with information as well as helping people both new people get into games, as well as helping those looking to get into more competetive styled gaming. I would recommend this store to new and seasoned gamers.

Chicos one stop shop for collectibles, MTG etc... I always feel welcome within these walls unlike other stores. This is my place from now on, even though I have a hard time catching it open. Thanks Becky!

This is such a friendly place! The store owner does a really good job on establishing a magic community and creating a safe, fun, and friendly environment for people of all ages.She also has really good prices on products for your cards and even good prices for the cards themselves. Honestly, I would rather support her rather than buy from the walmart around those parts. I recommend this place to anyone who plays magic!

Best place in chico to play any TCG or board game, also has great tournaments

Been there for a couple of 2HG game days. Very friendly people and cool store, and my partner and I (both fairly new to Magic) had a great experience playing Magic there. You even get discounts on Magic gear when you play there. Well definitely be back.

Becky is very nice and friendly to me and I assume to every one when you are at her shop you feel like you are at a second home

Cluttered but full of excelent stuff. Decent prices and a wonderful staff. Additionally there are lots of tables open for people to play dnd, warhammer, magic, etc (I saw about 4 but didnt count so take that with a grain of salt). I STRONGLY advise taking the time to talk to the employees as theyre great people and if you cant find what you want they either can so so for you or order it.

Favorite store of all time with the most amazing and sweet owner I always look forward to coming back here.

I love this place, and Becky (the owner) is probably the nicest person youll ever meet. They have weekly MTG tournaments, and they do prerelease parties when a new set comes out too. Theres also other games there I guess but whatever nobody cares about yu gi oh

Chico Magic is a hobby store for MTG players for the most part, though the store sells many other things too including other card types and pretty lil gift items. The owner, Becky, has her doors open practically any time (after noon that is, and she is often open into late night) for her customers to stop by and play a few games, so its a very popular hangout, and she sells her cards at fair price. Shes also not afraid to kick someone out whos causing trouble for her players, even at the cost of a customer, so you can be assured of a fun and cheat-free environment with lots of friendly people! Stop by sometime!

I visited this store with my 10 year old nephew to try to get him into magic the gathering. The experience couldnt have been any better. A nice man sat down with us and between him and myself we played a game of magic with 30 card training decks and taught my nephew everything he needed to know to start, because thats the best way to learn how to play. To watch and we explianed it as we went. Then they even let us keep the training decks because of the simplicity of them their perfect to learn with. On top of all that they gave us a discounted price on a duel deck package for him to learn with. The shop itself was kinda cluttered and their where alot of people which should bring the star rating down one but the welcoming and friendly environment is so great it deserves the 5 stars, no doubt.

My favorite place to play Magic (and the occasional boardgame). The people here are welcoming and friendly.

I went to YGO Tournaments for a year. It was super enjoyable friendly players with an awesome store keeper. I dont know if they still do Yu-Gi-Oh tournies, But I would quickly go back to one if I finish my deck. Thank you Chico Magic!
