So delicious! They have something for everyone! Thanks Gentry! The woman working was great and made great suggestions for our different pallets! I got a chai late with pumpkin and it did not disappoint. The others got a Tai tea, a soft served chocolate, and the vanilla soft serve with the lavender/ earl gray. We’ll be back!

This place is my new favorite! They make fresh in house made Whipped Cream!! The hot chocolate is mui CRAVABLE! They have a lady who makes all the sweets just for them and everything is so very worth the extra workout time. This time I got the white chocolate lemonade sugar cookie. Yummmmm! I have worked at another coffee shop downtown for several years. I can say honestly Brave is right at the top of the top coffee dogs in Chico.In terms of flavor, consistency, cost, and availability of seating Brave is a place above most. Gentry, the owner, is kind, personable, and immensely knowledgeable. His time at Temple coffee in Sacramento made him a great barista and from what I can tell a great business owner.I have been going here more and more the past few months and its very quickly becoming my second spot. If you havent tried the Bliss or the Traditional Cappuccino youre missing out.The picture is my friends daughter chilling like she just got off a ten hour shift.Seriously though, try Brave. It will not disappoint.

Horrible service. At least 8 people in the dining area not wearing masks. I walk in without a mask because of my medical condition, and they refused to take my order. Why do you have to wear a mask to order just to take it off after you order? THIS IS THE USA, NOT A SOCIALIST CONTROL FREAK COUNTRY. if it was about safety they wouldnt allow people in there to drink coffee without a mask. Unbelievable psychotic people

The coffee itself deserves 5 stars - it was smooth and tasty without being overly bitter or acidic. They serve espresso, drip, and pour-over styles. The service was fast and friendly. While they have some delicious pastries, I didnt see anything in the way of non-pastry items. I think if theyd expand their food menu, theyd definitely be 5 stars.

This place does a great job of meeting the clientele that would frequent a coffee shop in San Francisco or Seattle but in the awesome town of Chico! While prices are higher ($4.80 for a cappuccino) it was made The atmosphere offers comfortable seating and a great vibe inside and outside!Businesses often struggle at this strip mall location so be sure to support this great coffee shop!

Came in for a pour over. The coffee offered was Kenyan and should have been fruity, however the cup was overly bitter. I imagine it depends on which baristas make your coffee, but this cup was not worth the trip.

This review is long overdue-- Brave Coffee is simply AMAZING! Everything to love in a coffee shop-- a great vibe, uniqueness, good music, great service and great coffee. I love this place and I love the workers and the owner (Gentry) too. My BF and I been going here consistently for the last two years and have never had a bad experience. I basically LIVED here during my finals, and tried every type of coffee and tea there was on the menu (all delish)! Plus everyone was so accomodating and kind. My favorite is the iced caramel oat milk latte!! Mmm, but I also like the specialty drinks like the iced apple chai, the mint drinks and the pumpkin spice (with real pumpkin stuff) Great job to Brave Coffee and thank you for all you do!

I love Brave. The whole staff is trained VERY WELL in how to properly pull shots, steam milk etc... which is very important if youre really into coffee. Family friendly (my kids love Brave), great for studying or reading a book. Super friendly and down to earth. Atmosphere is bright, clean and cool!

Easilly the best hot chocolate Ive had in a year. The person I went with had coffee and cheesecake and said similar things. Open late, great staff. Absolutely worth going to in my opinion.

I was in Chico for the weekend from the Bay Area and stopped into Brave. This coffee shop has a great vibe. I ordered a flat white and was pleasantly surprised that they had heavy whipping cream to give me a low carb option. I sat and began doing some work and they brought my drink to my table (the only shops I have ever been to that do this are in Europe). My flat white was exceptional! I will definitely be back every time I’m in Chico.

I’m always skeptical of trying cold brew at new places. It’s usually too sweet or too bitter or has a funky flavor, but Brave Coffee gave me the best cold brew I’ve had. I got a 20oz cold brew w vanilla, hazelnut and almond milk and it tastes just perfect. Their staff was so friendly and they were pretty fast! Check them out, cold brew lovers!

Very nice baristas and exceptionally flavorful coffee. The espresso is well balanced. Whole beans are for sale and they will offer to grind them for you. This place is a must visit.

Comfy atmosphere and spacious parking accessibility which is crucial in chico downtown area. Coffee is also good. Compared to the naked lounge, cheaper and cleaner. Definitely recommend if you are tired of finding out parking but want to have a fine coffee.

Ive lived in Chico for 30 years and have been waiting for a sophisticated coffee shop to open up and well here it is. As a coffee connoisseur this is the place you want to be! The staff is properly trained in the art of coffee making and with each and every sip you take you can taste their experience. Not only is the coffee excellent the Baristas impeccable service is refreshing. Upon stopping in with my cycling group WOW Women on wheels the barista came out and asked if all was well and if all the drinks were as ordered and add if they were not they would gladly remake them. Ive been to many coffee shops here in Chico and theyre all starting to get worried because Brave Coffee just raise the bar.
