Huge grocery store, has everything you can think of. Food, gifts, a variety of different, cheap, cute re-usable shopping bags. Food & beverages are affordable, especially value brands and they actually taste good. Very friendly helpful staff. Its the size of a Costco or Sams Club, warehouse size.

The bulk foods section is fantastic. The prices are good. They have the best selection of tortillas of any local grocery store. Produce section is outstanding. We travel an hour and a half from Chester CA to shop here.

I love WinCo. Everytime I go and do a big shopping trip, it never fails to surprise me how low the final bill is. Stores like this make it easier to feed a family of four and keep it healthy without breaking the bank.

Very reasonable prices & most employees are very nice & helpful. I mostly shop elsewhere, this store is almost always very busy, but I do have to come here for certain things. The prices cant be beat on some items such as Vanilla liquid Syrup for making drinks, & almost all the ice cream & dairy products, veggies & fruits are much cheaper & selection is pretty good.Plus this is the only place I know of where you can get Hawaiian Bread sliced! Its sooo good!! They also have this pretzel bread (this picture is of hamburger buns) but still, that is super good too!

WinCo Foods really is a great place to shop. Lots of free, accessible parking. They always have plenty of carts, and they provide ample cleaning supplies. Their product selection is really quite huge. Vegetables and fruits are great. Meat is tasty and well priced. Lots of checkout aisles, in addition to several self check options. Does it feel like Safeway or Raleys? Nope. Does it cost as much as those stores? Nope. That is exactly the point. Shop here and save $$$.

It a big store with a huge bulk food section. Prices are way better than Safeway. Owned by employees they say, that says a lot.

Love going at night right when they are starting to bring pallets out for restocking. Never too crowded at tgat time, so I can easily get my items from list and get back out.

No frills, humongous grocery store with better than average non-sale prices on most items. Large produce section was tidy and well-managed (nothing looked old or beat up). I stuck to perimeter of the store as I was only there for milk, bread, cheese, and some ground turkey. I couldnt help but toss a few extras into the cart because the prices were much better than where I normally shop.The best thing is the hours of operation. 24/7 for everything but the deli and services for money orders, check cashing and what have you, and at 2am the only thing to slow you down is the merchandise in the center of aisles being stocked for the next days crowds of hungry shoppers.

Open all night. Best for those extra large grocery shopping trips -- good prices. Whenever I decide to do my large grocery shopping trips at other stores like Safeway I always end up regretting it because at WinCo I can get double the amount of grocery items for the same price... ( Some times even double the amount of grocery items for a lesser price.

I thought the motto for WinCo foods was ( the low price leader!) I dont think that motto applies anymore. The produce was not fresh the cauliflower was turning and they overcharged me for my groceries but the staff was friendly

Open late, theyre stocking so there are boxes of products laying in the isles. They staff are polite and let you get around the work to get what you need. I wouldnt suggest major shopping trip at this time. Especially because theres only one or two checkout lanes open

Amazing prices and a great selection but half of the employees arent wearing masks, and now half of the customers arent wearing masks either. Definitely a good place to go to catch Covid if you havent been vaccinated.

Good prices on meats. A well kept bulk foods section. A nice selection of breads, tortillas, pasta, & beans. Staff is friendly & helpful. Basic groceries done right here.

I would say this store was very clean and safe. It was hard to find where things were located. They did have aisle signs but they were far down each aisle. Overall pleasant store and the cashier Corina was very helpful! Fast and efficient front end!!

Great prices. Good selection. But best of all open 24/7! If youve got a tight budget and would like to do the bulk of weekly/monthly grocery shopping in one place this is a great option.

Winco is one of the best places to shop when you have a big family or if you are planning a party! They have so manny items which they offer in bulk...and the prices make me wish I had a larger refridgerator--and a deep freezer!!

Low prices. Low traffic wide floorspace. Staff are in a good mood. I prefer it to Costco for many things its great to have both in Chico.

Love this store!! They always have amazing prices sometimes up to 60%-70% cheaper than any where else. They keep their store clean and well stocked. The staff is almost always pleasant and are very knowledgeable.

Great selection of bulk foods in the back. Clean restrooms, ATM, key maker, Redbox, Coinstar and Glaicer water dispenser. Check cashing also available and money orders. Always friendly staff at checkout and great selection of items in the store. :-)

It has the lowest prices and same food as safeway. Its a big store with lots to choose from we will continue to shop there highly recommend.

Generally always fully stocked with the food and essentials. Store is cleaned and provides sanitation wiped at front to wipe down carts. I regularly shop here and have had no issues as of yet.

WinCo is like Food Maxx but better prices and more selection. Great deli and very good sushi

Quick trip for produce

I was in WinCo late this morning and witnessed a woman without a mask riding around the store in a motorized cart, joyously talking loudly to people saying that she was protected from the virus by Jesus Christ. I had three distubing encounters with her while in the store. She had no respect for anyone else. Her behavior was anything Christ- like Not one store employee stepped in.To the management and staff of WinCo in Chico, please step up, do the right thing and protect your customers.

I always enjoy shopping at WinCo. And today was no exception. I purchased over $100 in groceries and received a FREE Jennie-O turkey with my purchase. So I am feeling blessed today!

Love this Winco. Prices are low. the selection of items is good and the employees are super helpful/friendly. My cashier today was Sara and, in my mind, went above and beyond her job to help load/unload my groceries. Winco is the only grocery store that I will shop at.

Had been years since we had been to Winco, so we were anxious to check it out.Found the normal incredible produce section....they have just about everything including angel hair coleslaw which reminds me of my Moms coleslaw. Good prices on some of their liquor, and their bread. Still disappointed that they no longer have the large bran muffins. Love them and they are better for you than many they sell. May go back when we need to repeat some of our purchases.Prices are much higher than they used to be...but they are everywhere.

Overall store is clean. But they could do better with cleaning and sanitizeing the line before/after each customer. And at the end there is no possible 6ft apart. Your like right next to each other. Maybe while sanitizing roller in line will give last guest time to bag. Maybe open more just1 lane lines. Just suggesting.

My favorite place to shop for groceries. Its within my price range, is large enough to have a good selection for most everything, and is open 24 hours most of the year. They keep it clean, and the produce is decent quality most of the time. They do not take credit cards, so that can sometimes be inconvenient, but definitely my preferred grocery store regardless.

It was ok. Except for this strange guy who keeps come in and buy one thing. Then sit on the bench up front and stare at the cashier for hours. About every hour he gets up and buys something. One item 4 sit beck down. And he is making the cashier nervous? And management and fellow employees think its funny. and wont ask him to leave guy

Great variety of everyday items. Good prices and generally clean.Pluses include good variety and price on bulk foods, dry grocery items, deli, and frozen foods. Cashiers are friendly. Panhandling is not tolerated.One star from perfect because its always too crowded, produce is not the freshest, fresh meat variety and price is terrible, and dairy variety is lacking.

Covid unsafe at nightEvery night I shop there plenty of people walk around without masks on, its disrespectful and not cool

Horribly unsafe. I went the other day and saw sooo many people not wearing masks, blatantly in front of employees, and including several employees walking in from break. When I asked the cashier if they were enforcing masks, she said well, some of us are, but Im not because masks dont do anything. When I called to complain to the manager, the supervisor told me that speaking to the manager wouldnt do any good, because he is clearly an anti-masker. This same supervisor tried to wear masks a week before the mask mandate happened, and was scolded and told not to by the manager. This is so alarming and dangerous as it is such a huge grocery store, please avoid it if you are able.

Decent vegan selection and good prices! The bulk section is nice, one problem is you cant bring your own containers, but besides that its a good selection, lots of spices, pastas, rice, beans, lentils, etc. Also a good place to stock up on frozen and canned vegetables. The checkout lines can get a bit crowded because theres usually only a few open at once. Theres self checkout options if youre not getting a ton of stuff.
