I will continue to have my bike fixed here and get all my bike parts my back tire was messed up and They had my bike up and running by the next day and I was able to pick it up. I love this place. They were awesome I gave them a call and they had the tire and tube I needed at a good price and installed it for me. This is the 2nd time Ive been here and have left with what i needed and a smile on my face, they have good customer service and they know what they are doing I would highly recommend going here for bike repairs or buying bike gear and equipment.

Took my bike in to have a full tune up. I asked them does this full tune include greasing the bearings. They said yes. Pictures shows you they didnt even look at them. They fixed a flat too and left the stem this way at a angle on both tires. Pictures are after coming home from the shop. Lost my trust and a customer.

Kind of wish their weekend mechanic did a better job explaining prices. I was told $8 for a tube $5 for slime and I when I get there and Im charged $17 for a tube Plus $8 labor. Kind of upset for that price I could do it myself

There are so many great bike shops in Chico. But A-Main caters to my particular needs, and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They carry lots of stuff, but the advice they provide is priceless! Charlie is the best repair guy Ive ever met. A-Main is my all-time favorite bike shop.

Ordered a part to fix my road bike. The part was incorrect but in the right packaging. Even though this was such a cheap part they took over an hour of their time to make it right. They resent an order from NC warehouse but because they couldn’t double check that stock in person, They took the time to physically double check warehouse stock in Cali and match my pictures to the correct part on the shelf and sent a new one out immediately just in case the NC warehouse was still in the wrong packaging. A+ customer service. Thank you, David!

I’m pretty new to Chico and finding a great bike shop in a new town is always a challenge, even more so in a town with so many to choose from. I’m glad I went with AMain. I had swung by multiple times to check out their amazing selection of top of the line products before I decided to take my bike in for a tune up, and always had a good experience. I usually do my own tune ups and repairs but I decided to let the pros do it this time (they are way better at it than I am) and I’m glad I did. Even though my bike is a couple of years old and has thousands of miles on it, they still managed to tune it and make it feel like it was brand spankin new. Plus the overall service and friendliness presented by employees is great. Thanks to AMain Chico is starting to feel more like home.

I love Amain Cycling! There a number of great bike shops in Chico (which is awesome) but Amain is at the top for me. The physical shop is well laid out, neatly organized and clean. They have helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable staff including their amazing bike mechanics. They carry Giant, Specialized, and Pivot bikes. A great feature with this bike shop is their online presence. You can order from you home and pick up your online order at the shop, often same day!

Fantastic experience with AMain. Called them about a blown out rear tire on my Giant TCR. Didnt have it in stock but were able to pull it from their warehouse same day. Nice young mechanic put it on for me despite being slammed. Got to drool over some higher-end Giants while I waited. Two thumbs up!

Evan was incredibly helpful with setting up my Pioneer power meter. He made special arrangements to get the proper equipment to set up the power meter, worked around my schedule and shared his past experience using the unit. I do not live in Chico, but I would definitely make a special trip to shop at AMain and utilize their repair shop. Excellent bike shop!

AWESOME! This bike shop has figured out how to capture the cycling small order online market. Thank you for offering small items with small shipping costs. My local bike shop did not have something in stock, so I went online looking for it. AMain had what I wanted in stock. I ordered in the middle of the day (their time), and my item arrived TWO USPS business days later. From one coast to the other. I could not believe it. They shipped the same day. I highly recommend them. I am a new customer and have already told a friend about them.

Ordered a mountain bike helmet. When I received the helmet it did not fit my head properly. I contacted the store to inform them of the issue and went to the UPS store to return. The slowest Ground rate back to the store was $40.15 with recommended insurance to return a bike helmet. When my refund went through they subtracted an additional ~$4.00 from my refund for shipping????!!!! $44.00 to return a bike helmet that did not fit is totally unacceptable. The customer service rep struggled to at least give me a $30.00 store credit for my inconvenience. Store return policies are very bad.

There just isnt any comparison, this is hands down the best bike shop Ive ever been to. Service is excellent, they will not only sell you a bike but they will set up everything just how you want so you dont have to. Lock mount check, lights front and back check, rear rack check. A year of service awesome! 6 stars!

I needed a bolt in my chaining one day before wildflower ride. These guys dug around for 15 minutes and found one.then they didnt charge me a penny. They put the bolt on for me and chatted even tho they were busy. Awesome place. I am from Oregon but might wait to get bike repairs for when I come to Chico.

The front brake wasnt working after an attempted theft of my daughters bike. We took it in and it was fixed in less than 2 minutes...and no charge! Great people and great service! Glad my girl has such a nice community around the University. I was a happy mom heading for home.

Always greeted when you walk in, but most of the bikes are too high to look at, limited sizes too. I like to look and touch the bikes personally so their layout is not to my personal liking. Great customer service too.

I ordered a Cycleops H2 trainer online. A day later i get the response and a refund saying that the item is no longer available/discontinued. I get contact from John B that Cycleops made a mistake sending them the data for the prices. That doesnt really make sense how the pictures and the description showed the H2 trainer.In the end, they couldnt own up to incorrectly pricing an item and just letting me know it was an error. I can respect a company owning up to a mistake, it happens. Getting random automated cancellation responses telling me that the product is no longer available/discontinued and then getting emails from John B random person saying that their vendor sent the wrong data. What a joke.The Customer service was lacking. Also, they may want to contact the vendor because their online page for the M2 Trainer has pictures of the H2 Trainer. Maybe itll increase sales.

I was downtown yesterday and came back to a flat front tire. I had a date in less than an hour and hadnt been home to get ready. I stopped in to get a tube so I could change it right there on the sidewalk but the guys did it for me for only $13. Not only did they replace my front tube but they checked my brakes and filled up by back tire. Saved my evening. Thanks again guys.

Nice store!! I had a warranty problem with the groupset I bought from them and AMain Cycling helped me to contact SRAM and get my replacement as soon as SRAM sent the part with no extra shipping.

Extremely disappointed with online customer service, reached out to them via online msgto informed I need a replacement crankset Sram Red purchase by my wife, took 60+hours to respond until I reach out to them, ( chat online in the name of Marco T), whom I have to refresh his memory and advice him to looked into my wifes recent order. Disappointed again when in fact its barely two weeks that I have the item and returned back the item back to them(paid from own pocket for the courier), but got billed for roughly $72.00 out of the total amount of $470+change. I will not be surprise why Amazon makes a lot of money because they really took care of their customers as a VIP but these small company with no compassion to their first timer customer who does not think that customer is not their prime important(sorry I dont buy your excuse that you are behind email queries nor your chatroom is always offline). SADLY, I will not buy nor visit their website to scout for any of items related to my bike. There are plenty of small company who can make excellent customer service just to attract everyone and use their service. Im sorry your not one of them.

I bought a mountain bike from Duane at CycleSport (mechanic), and Ive received excellent service for the two years since then. Ive had occasional issues with broken shifters and even a cracked frame, and its been handled quickly and professionally with minimal cost to me. Service is excellent and professional, and its definitely a good place to spend your money.Cyclesport owners and employees are also actively involved in the local cycling scene, with emphasis on road rides. They host group rides, offer classes in proper pace line and group ride etiquette, and even organize great longer rides to sports around Chico. It says a lot about a company when you see their staff not only selling and maintaining bikes but RIDING them and being actively passionate about cycling.Well done, and thanks to you all!

Updated 3-27-2019Evan and Mike (Giant rep) worked hard to help me get the bike I needed prior to our local stage race and its one fast steed. Speaking of the stage race, I dont have a modern TT bike, so Kendall (CEO/Co-Owner) is generous enough to let me use his personal bike...really? Ive never experience this sort of home-town service from an international company. Im just blown away at the level of service that Evan, Peggy, Charlie, Manny and Marie provide. I dont remember EVER walking into another bike shop and being treated like Amain treats their customers. I encourage you to put Amain on the TOP of your list of bike shops to visit, whether you want to buy a bike, pick up some parts, try on some new gear, service your bike or just want to talk about the sport....Amain is the place to be!Earlier post: Every time, not just once, but every time I go in, the service is impeccable! Just one example: Pam went above and beyond when a pair of road shoes werent available in my size. She upgraded me at no extra charge. Highly recommend Amain!

Great variety of different bike brands compare to the common Specialized, Trek, and Giant that most other bike shops sale in town. Their saddles are fairly priced and sometimes cheaper compare to Amazon, but I cant always say the same thing about other equipment/ accessories. They do host bike demos which Ive attended two where you can try out different bikes of one brand that they sale. I had one of my DB Mountain bikes assembled by the staff member name Issac and the only issue which I feel he didnt do correctly were the brakes. Upon receiving my bike everything looked in place until I noticed a slight vibration along with a scratching noise that I noticed when riding through a quieter street in Chico. Both front and rear brake pad were pressing against the disk which I notified Cyclesport and they happily fixed. On the very next day while riding down hill and having to make a hard brake the rear cable came loose and I found that the cable just had too much slack and needed to be readjusted. Hell, its a good store, friendly staff, but i just dont trust Issac working on my bike again.

Everyone there is friendly, extroverted, knowledgable, and always helpful. Ive been there many times and theyre the people you need to ask whenever buy, fix, maintain, and even to stop by.

Stopped in to get my OLD, 1989 Schwinn Sierra Mtn Bike a little work on the gears. These guys were awesome. They were very helpful in suggesting things I could do to fix my bike (how do you add a fender to these shocks) (how do you fix these shocks), etc...When I went in to pick up my bike they had done a little tinkering with the shocks (old Manitou 3 with elastomers that failed) and had fixed the gears to perfection! Got a bike? Take it to them for anything! Need a bike? Get there and they will take care of you!
