This location is CLOSED! Do not travel here, closest is up north and its an Office Max not OD. I was a store assistant manager at OD484 Iowa City. LEGEND STATUS ranked in top 3% of Office Depots and they closed our location. Retail is rough, but its nice to have physical location if they can survive! They all down in Boca anyway playing golf till Staples buys them: true.

Chicago branch office conveniently located near the intersection of Grand and Orleans. Ample parking available at this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Merchandise was well organized and in stock. Would definitely visit again.

The absolute worst customer experience ever. I bought a Lenovo laptop in late 2019 as a student at National Louis University. I purchased all the extended warranty and service plans. When my computer had a problem and brought it in to be serviced the only tech person was not available having a deadline for the next day I purchased another computer. When I contacted the store the following week and finally got a hold of the tech who sold me the computer he asked me the problem and from my answer of it would not start said he was not able to help me. He didnt even see the computer and said I cant help you. What was the purpose of insurance, I had not even removed it from my bag when the technology specialist Troy Patterson said he couldnt help me. The second computer I bought could not handle the same gaming requirements I needed but again sorry you bought the wrong computer what do you want me to do about it was the answer I received. I expressed my need and was assured it would meet my needs. Every time I down load a game my Lenovo crashes. No one at this store cared just give me your thousand dollars and buy warranty and service plans that mean absolutely nothing . I still never understood why I bought the workonomy warranty. I work around the corner but from this experience I will never step foot in this place instead I will use Best Buy for all my paper and office needs as well as electronic help.

High yield toner was of their own website for $55 and they were selling it for $80!!I mean thats a rip off I had to come back with the receipt and gety money back!

Total incompetence. There was a line of people and 2 people working. Regular register was closed, so both at print counter. I came to pick up an order, had received email confirmation it was ready. Male employee says it isnt ready but I can print it right now. Then he proceeds to walk away and leave me standing there and waits on 6 other people. The female employee then gives attitude when I asked her if he had released the job. I remembered why I dont usually go to this location.

Pleasantly surprised! I bought two items on separate days one was binder tabs and the other was a wireless mouse. The tabs were too small and the wireless mouse made my wrist start hurting due carpal tunnel. I had thrown out the packaging and receipt for the mouse but decided to try returning anyway. Nick, was awesome! He helped me with both returns and refunded me my money of $30! I was so glad I gave it a shot! Omg. Thanks brother Nick! 🙌🏼🤙🏼

The location on W Grand is close to my office. I use this particular office depot on a very regular basis. The staff are very knowledgeable. I am always asking for advise on products and print. They are always very helpful. A big recommendation.

Terrible customer service. Literally heard an employee making fun of a customer. The employee who helped me was rude. Kind of unbelievable

@ Adam AvarickThe Office Depot at this location is not out of business.I went there today to buy an office chair. They have a decent selection of generic office supplies. Its a really great location if you live downtown. Anything needed of higher quality can be purchased at specialty art stores or furniture stores which are abundant downtown.

This store has quick access from the highway. They have mostly the same selection as others in the city. There is a large parking lot so plenty of room and always a place to park. The staff is courteous and professional and always seem very helpful.

Terrible experience, walked in to get a shipping tube and could not find mailing stickers, i asked an employee for help, led me to a section but i didnt find what i needed, so i kept looking, the man kept following me aggressively, there was an elderly lady following me as well got to the point where they were not helping just making sure i didnt steal.

Had a quick run to Office Depot last Thursday and love how they help you! I showed them the pictures of what I needed and they lead you right to the item plus make suggestions as well. They are super friendly and appreciate the insights on even using off brands.

I seldom give a chain store five stars but this place deserves it. Running into a print marketing crisis on a Sunday morning is never fun, but the folks working at this location hopped into high gear to save the day. The website showed many of the services we needed were meant to take hours, but everything was done while we waited, and done with a smile.

Good if you need office supplies same day. Have a good selection of basics and is easily accessible.

Laptop got repaired fine but they took almost 3 weeks. Went in to check on my laptop a week after I gave it and it still hadnt left the store for repair.. and then it took 2 more weeks after that.. but laptops working fine now so its okay..

Great friendly staff! I drop off my UPS and USPS packages there all the time. Item prices are a bit higher, but expected since it is in the city after all.

Went here for ink for my printer great prices and the customer service was awesome.

We just made our own wedding fans and table cards for our upcoming wedding and the staff was so extremely helpful, not to mention very pleasant to work with!! We were very stressed about doing a diy project one week before our wedding and they make it such an easy process and were able to print 250 colored pages in a half hour!! They were also incredibly cheaper than kinoks or any other places we looked and received quotes from. I would recommend them to everyone for any printing needs!!

Convenience store on Grand Avenue with free parking a rarity in this area however not all items are carried in the store no offer free shipping or even delivered to the home however staff is extremely helpful and the products they have are always as advertised

Horrible! Last night, 11/28, I went in and purchased numerous items. At checkout, I gave them my phone # so they could pull up my account. They did, and I paid with my AMEX Platinum card. I clicked the email my receipt prompt.When I got home, I noticed my 4 color printer cartridge was missing along with my large black printer cartridge!! I did not receive an emailed receipt.I called today and spoke with a woman who couldnt even find my account. I then spoke with a male manager who said no account exists under my phone number? What? I then gave him my email, and again he said no such email was in their system. Ive shopped at this store for over 5 years and have not changed my phone number. I then gave him the last 4 of my AMEX card, along with my name & address, and he said my card was NOT in their system and no purchases from their store were made last evening around 7 PM; 11/28 using my AMEX card. What?!!I AM FURIOUS!! CLEARLY SOMEONE AT THE STORE STOLE MY PRINTER CARTRIDGES ($85) and then somehow erased the entire transaction and my long standing 5 year account so there would be no record of my purchase.AMEX is sending me the transaction codes and numbers, and Im going straight to the 18th District ChicagoPoliceDept. and fill out a criminal theft report!Someone at this store will be arrested today!DO NOT SHOP AT THIS POS OfficeMax!!

Came into the store to make a few prints. The young guy helping me was distracted my other store administrative tasks. After we finally got back to me printer didnt work it I was asked to come back after 10 minutes. 10 minutes later nothing is printed and Equipment doesnt work. Wasted 30 minutes for nothing.
