Fantastic experience, largely because of Cathy -- thank you, Cathy! The storage facility is all good, just as it should be, but Cathy makes it a great place. She is so helpful, professional, and friendly. One day, I left thinking my lock was shut correctly. When Cathy saw that it wasnt she went out of her way to call me to make sure I knew about it. Super nice!

Your current Property Manager, Cathy, deserves all the credit for that. Shes very devoted and hardworking and does a great job interacting with the customers and catering to their individual needs as well. She really makes your company look good. My Mother passed away suddenly. She had a unit at this facility. At a very difficult time in my life including a pandemic. Jackie has went above & beyond to make sure I was informed on what paperwork to fill out. From start to finish & The steps along the way. In helping assist me to gain access to my mother’s belongings. It was a process but Jackie definitely was such a great help in a time where I couldn’t even think straight. I really appreciate her for that and will be forever grateful to her. I now have my Mom’s personal things back with me. Photos & personal things that money could never replace.Thank you Jackie! I’m usually very skeptical in regards to having one some tell me about what I need, but I went to this place to see units about my moving situation and Katherine was an “Angel” such bubbly attitude and spirit, she got me convinced On not only the moving situation but all the materials I would need to store my belongings, very helpful young lady, and I’m not easily convinced by anyone she assured me that every detail should I continue would go smoothly and she was right, right down to the unit size and availability as I’m a stickler for time and saving money. Wonderful personality above and beyond the call, Thank you for all the assistance Katherine.

Great experience! Set up and cancellation were simply. We only needed a short-term unit; Public Storage was very accommodating, and even had a nice promotion, which really made things quite affordable. Jackie was very helpful and friendly - she made the entire process seamless. My only knock: if the unit isnt on the ground floor, prepare for a slow elevator (nice sized though).

I had an amazing experience at this location. Jackie was so freaking helpful.She even saved me money by suggesting a smaller unit. She was right and the unit fit like a glove. She was so professional and friendly. I would use this location again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jackie!

1) Several large items of ours were stolen from our locked storage unit. My husband and I reported this to the management - Im guessing whoever stole our items entered other units as well. If you keep items here (which I dont recommend), I suggest getting insurance. I would not store any keepsakes or anything of emotional/personal value here.2) The garage door has been broken several times when I have visited allowing anyone to walk in without a code.3) We are not located on the first floor. The elevator has been broken or extremely slow on more than one occasion. We ended up having to carry items up and down the stairs.

The cashier Jackie, I believe, was extremely helpful when I couldn’t decide what size storage I needed. She let me see the different sizes and allowed me to “map out” the way all of my junk would fit so that I would still be able to come in and out with ease. I am super satisfied with my experience at this public storage as well as with the assistance I received from Jackie.

Jackie was so helpful! When moving into my new place my couch would not fit, I called and they told me to come right in! She showed me two storage options and made it super quick since my movers were waiting!

Jackie is really helpful for new renters! I signed up on the website - it was very easy and the space planning tools were helpful so I could estimate the size locker I needed. Jackie called right away to schedule a tour and confirmation appointment. The building is easy to get to on Clark Street. Jackie showed me around and explained how to access the indoor parking lot and use the loading dock, carts and elevator to get moved in. The building is clean and well-lighted. Im very happy to have the extra space!

Encountered a few ladies who were always understanding and eager to help. “Thu” helped me resolve a late charge when I lost my wallet and couldn’t pay on time. I needed a spots to stash my clutter while I got my condo ready to sell. Jackie had me set up with the perfect space in just a few minutes. She always gives me a wave through the office window every time I come in, which is a nice bonus. Ive had three other storage spaces over the last few years. This one is by far the best!

First of all, Darrian is great! I had a great rental experience with him. The space is very spacious, accessible secure and clean. The only issue that I have is with the convoluted pricing. The first month is $1, but I have to pay a $24 administration fee, buy a proprietary lock, purchase mandatory insurance and, since I rented the space at the end of the month, I have to pay the prorated fee and then the next months rent (which is the next day). I guess thats why they call it a promotional price and put an asterisk next to that statement. Thats a corporate thing, not something that this location did wrong. If I ever have to rent storage space again, Ill make sure to do so on the first of the month. Overall, I would highly recommend, just dont expect to the promo price to mean anything.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but when they’re warranted I feel it’s necessary to help not only businesses bring in more loyal customers but also just to share a little love for exceptional staff.Overall my storage unit was clean, rodent/dirt free (ish) could probably use more dusting/cleaning, and they have resources to help you move. (Carts, big walkways etc.)From initial renting to unit move out, Jackie (property manager) was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, fast and just kind! Very friendly. And funny.I was only in my storage unit for a few months, and during one of the months I needed help with one of my payments. They let me make payment arrangements to satisfy my term and the move out process was extremely easy. I strongly recommend renting here.

Public Storage has the right fit and it’s great. Especially this location. I highly recommend talking to Jackie, she knows what’s up. She can tell you exactly what you need. She helped me a lot and was very knowledgeable.

Moved from s large storage room to a smaller one. Lea Ann was very helpful and found us one conveniently located across the hall which made our move much easier. She made sure the size was right and checked it out with us before our move.

Jackie really knows her stuff! I came in looking for boxes to prepare for a last minute move. Had no idea what types of moving supplies I needed or how many I would need. She took down a list of items of my belongings that I had to pack up and recommened one of the moving paks. And I cannot say that she does not know what shes talking about. I used every box and supply that came in the pak and it turned out to be everything I needed. If you would have left it up to me to pick out boxes and moving supplies for myself. I would have over/under purchased and bought the wrong sizes. So thank you for making my move so painless!

Theyre very helpful and efficient, offering dollies and carts with a large parking and loading dock area and a large freight elevator. Jackie was extremely helpful and pleasant. As someone who works in customer service, I can say she is great at her job, making sure everything was clear and we were completely informed, while also being very friendly.

I was new to public storage, when I first came here, I did not know what I wanted. However, one of the workers Martin welcome me with great service. He gave me suggestion on which storage would meet my need and assist me the whole time while I was picking out packing supplies. I was very satisfied with the service provided and I would definitely recommend this place because of the helpfulness and warm welcome that I received from Martin.

Im moving back to Chicago soon and stopped for information. The facility was very clean and appealing. I met your representative Theresa who was very knowlegable and was able to answer my questions. Great communication and she was very friendly which is always a good experience for a person like me. Depending which apartment I get, I will be using this Clark street storage for the friendliness, location and clean facility.

This was my first time renting storage space. I chose this location because the rates were the best and the location was near. Being a newbie, I figured there may be a few aspects about renting that I was not aware of.Thu was very helpful in explaining all of the different options, services, and fees ($1 first month rent, $22 one-time admin fee, $11 monthly insurance, and $22 one-time fee to purchase their special padlock). I didnt ask, but its possible that you can bring your own padlock and not need to purchase one. Regarding the insurance, Thu and Tamara were very helpful in providing questions that I could ask my insurance agent to see if I had suitable coverage already. I did that, and found out that I did indeed have appropriate coverage already, and was able to then cancel the $11 monthly policy with no problem.Thu and Tamara were friendly, professional, informative, and efficient. I actually find it fun to rent storage!

Tyler was awesome! He was so helpful when we were trying to vacate our unit.Tyler was the answer to many prayers and made a day that could have been horrible into a delight. After leaving our key to the lock at home he called the area manager to come to open it for us. The manager came within an hour. Next we inadvertently locked our keys in the truck and Tyler was so helpful and persistent in getting the doors unlocked for us. And last,, our truck was too small to load all of our stuff, some of which were junk items. Tyler offered to call a friend to haul the rest of the junk away. Thanks again to Tyler and manager Jackie for all of your assistance and for working through all of our issues with such patience and care. We could not have asked for better service.

This public storage is a joy to have. The staff are welcoming, personable, and very helpful. Theresa has been helping me very attentively and pleasantly, working with me patiently and happily, and calling me personally to let me know if they have a spot open. You wouldnt expect it, but it really feels like a valuable neighborhood place; theyre happy to see you and help you and theyre always approachable - nothing cold or impersonal or frustratingly bureaucratic about it- just a good spot with good people and good service.

Ive never had the need for extra storage space until now. Jackie and Tamara were helpful and explained everything to me. They are professional and very knowledgeable of the business.I also appreciate them being extremely patient with the scheduling of my reservations. I had some car issues the other day and they both offered to help give me a jump and help me find the closest auto parts store so I could buy another battery. There are beautiful people in this world and apparently they work at public storage on clark st.

The moment I entered the store Thu welcomed me and was very helpful. She gave me tons of information and options for the storage units. She was also super nice and overall it was great service. I would definitely rent at this location.

Tiffany was wonderful !!! I went in on Friday to sign my rental agreement but did not have an appointment. It was 15 minutes before closing but she still agreed to put the lease together. She did it expediently, politely and with a great sense of humor. Tiffany was extremely courteous in spite of the last minute pressure I had imposed on her. She is a credit to her organization.

This location is really small, but awesome public Storage, I felt a very warm welcome when I came in, By Thu & Andy they took care of me wit flying colors. I was curious of applying for position there. And they guide me so sweet of them... If anyone is near Chicago North side in Uptown, this is the public storage to go too! 😄 GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I recently moved to the area and having to unfortunately downsize to a smaller apartment. I was reluctant to put my things in a storage unit, however the young lady made me feel very comfortable about the facility and insured that my things would be safe. She gave me a tour of the facility, and over all just made me feel comfortable about leaving my things there. She explained the billing and payment options and she basically went above and beyond, which put me at ease.Octavia is really professional and knowledgeable. I recently relocated to CHI-TOWN and was fretting alot about where I would be able to afford to put my things until I am able to find somewhere big enough. I called this location and was able to get assistance from OCTAVIA.OCTAVIA is wonderful and she made me feel so much better about moving 1000 miles away from my family. She was very knowledgeable and very well spoken. I would highly recommend you speak with her to get assistance if your moving to the area.

My husband and I went in unsure of how much space we needed for storage. Luckily, an employee named Martin was very helpful in assisting us. His recommendation was right on. He made it easier to choose which storage room would be appropriate for our 2 bedroom apartment and even offered us to upgrade our lot for better security. He was kind, courteous, and had great humor! In fact, most of our experience with other public storage places/companies were disappointing. Martin, however, really helped make our moving a smoother transition. Great customer service!!

On a quick notice on a Sunday, she took her time in showing me what was available in the size I wanted.She guided me thru the necessary paperwork with ease and clarity -- was able to get everything accomplished in minimal time. I was looking for some differ size boxes and when I came in they had an assortment of different size boxes cheaper than other places I looked at and the staff worker there named Teresa was very proffessional and helpful helping me getting the boxes and sizes needed.... Id recommend this location cause of the helpful staff worker and her knowledge of what a customer expects to be treated....

All I can say is that Public Storage should be thanking their lucky stars that someone like Jackie works for their company. Give this girl a raise, because she honestly is the only reason I ended up renting and keeping a unit. She helped rescue a poor experience I had with another employee at a different location, and displayed incredible customer service skills, especially by apologizing for the bad experience I had and showing she valued my business. What I like best though is that she is incredibly honest, and shows she actually wants the customer to end up with the unit that is best for their needs. Shes not going to push you into a bigger and more expensive unit, but shes also going to be very honest when she knows you wont be able to fit all your stuff into a smaller unit you are trying to get just because its cheap. In the end, I have a unit Im very happy with, and I think its going to be a great experience thanks to her help!

This is the second time that my wife and I are using the Public Storage facility at 4430 North Clark Street in Chicago and Tamara has provided excellent service on each occasion. Tamara is very knowledgeable about the services and products offered and has demonstrated great customer service acumen. My family have been very pleased with our rental unit and we know our most valued possessions are safe and secure.
